Cat's out of the bag

Hello everyone!!!  Hope you had a fabulous Saturday!  I had a great time.  I crafted and had a really great romantic supper with my hubby to celebrate our wedding anniversary.  Can't believe we've been married for 17 years!  Well we have been together for 22 but still!  It's pretty good when you look at the stats around these days.

I'm here to share a few cards I made for some progressive challenges.  I'm really really addicted to those... wow... never figured I would be following so many lol

So this time I'm here for the great one over at From the heart stamps.  And this time the image is even more to my liking!!!  I just love cats and dogs (let's not make my dogs upset...) I have 3 cats and 3 dogs... and yes I should be showing the other pictures of my fur babies... I keep forgetting to take them.

The digi is called Cat's out of the bag!  Just think he is soooo fun.

I decided to go with a newspaper look... and I stamped some little paws  on the side of my card.  I thought it made it look like he went walking all over the card ;o)  The paper is from Soho Garden by American craft.  I used my Label 2, my large and small rectangles from Spellbinder.  I also used Nesting rectangles from Quickutz.  The little mouse is a sticker from a pack I had sorry don't remember from whom...

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and I did the sky with my salty ocean distress inks.  The sentiment comes with the digi.
I followed the sketch they have this week!

I'm entering these challenges:

  1. Designed 2 delight - progressive challenge
  2. Designed 2 delight - Sketch
  3. A gem of a challenge - Summer
  4. Send a smile 4 kids challenge - Anything goes 4 kids
  5. Time 4 scrap - Expressions with animals in them (well the cat's out of the bag would be perfect for this ;o) )
I'll be back with another card... I have made a few for the challenges that I follow and better post them before the challenge is over and I miss out!!!

Hugs

  1. Congrats on 17 years Vicky. I know what you mean about being addicted to the progressive challenges - I think I am too! Love the idea that the cat has walked all over it - very realistic! The last cat I had used to sit on top of the newspaper while you were trying to read it! Love how you created that fabulous sky.
