Path of Positivity - Challenge #5

It's time for a new challenge over at Path of positivity and this time our challenge is Optimism.  That can be a really hard thing to reach when everything is dark around us and stuff is not going right.

Our sponsors for you this month include:
as well as Creative Bug and MY SHOP....is OPEN :-)and of course let's not forget

For my project I used an image from Fresh Brewed design that you can find here it's called Peace be still.  I thought it was the best scene to reflect optimism.  When all goes wrong that's the type of image that I visualize to calm and center myself.  I find that when you think positive thoughts and are optimistic, things turn around quicker.  In the end it's only a question of perspectives... is it a half filled glass or is it half empty?

So I continued my journal. I did some doodling as well as some journaling.

I created this while on vacation.  I had brought some supplies in order to accomplish this.  I used my Label 19 from Spellbinder.  I fussy cut around the sentiment shown in the left page. I used some papers from ColorBok - photomats jewel.  I used some Panpastel as the background to the left page.
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my pan pastels.  I used a sentiment from Create with TLC.  I did some doodling and journaling as well.
This is the great quote that comes from Decosse Dynamite doodles.  I chose this quote because I really think that what we think greatly influences the way we see the world as mentionned above.  I think that if you keep to seeing the positive and have a optimistic point of view you will be a lot happier person.  And I really strive to do this.  I have to admit it's not always easy however...  For this last page I also did a lot of doodling.  I never do that usually but I got carried away creating these branches and leaves.
I hope you will be joining us and sharing what Optimism means to you.

  4. I'm so thrilled to be getting a continuing glimpse into this wonderful journal you are creating for yourself. It is nice to see the effect that your creation and words of inspiration have had on others. Additionally, thanks for sharing your reasoning behind why you chose the quote. You are totally right in your thinking as well, as numerous studies have been done on the power of positive thinking (hmmm...maybe that is what I should focus the next Motivational Monday post on). It has been shown in many cases that our thoughts can literally change our world. While it is sometimes very difficult to stay positive when the world is crashing down around us, the best we can do is try and stay clear of the negative thinking and stay as optimistic as possible. Who knows what we'll be able to achieve with this attitude?! Always remember--Think--Believe--Achieve.

Thank you for sharing your talents, your thoughts and your friendship. The Path of Positivity wouldn't be the same without you!

    Hugs,
    Lisa
