Nicecrane - Sweet birthday cards

Hello everyone!  It's Monday, but it's ok because I'm still on holiday!!! So fun and wish it would last longer!!!

Well I have no typical DT post to do today... I'm out of all my Monday DTs except for Path of positivity and that's only every 2nd Monday... so I have time to do a little DT post but this time for Nicecrane design.

He has a great new set of digis called Sweet birthday cards

They are such fabulous vintage image!!!  And I just had the perfect embellishment for a card with one of these images.  I got as a Christmas gift some vintage buttons, lots and lots and lots ;o)  I know... I'm spoiled.  Told my family that it doesn't take much to make me happy... just big bins of buttons lol

So I had a great button that dates I believe quite a few years... I'm using this to make a B-day card but it might just turn into the mother's day card for my mom... we will see... since "Bonne Fête" could be followed inside with a "bonne fête des mères".  But I know that I will be making more cards with this awesome set.  For this 1st one I removed the English sentiment to be able to have the space to stamp in French.

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share my last post as a designer for 613 Avenue Create.  It's been such a fabulous team to be a part!  So very supportive of each other and managed by 2 fabulous women Chana and Kathi.  Now will come my time to play along ;o)

But for this last post I'm creating something for our challenge Black plus a favourite color (if you take the twist of our Anything goes).  And our fabulous sponsor is:
Bugaboo Stamps
For my card I used the great Hn year ewe digi.  I thought it was fitting for this time of year.  My favourite color for this card is the blue.

Christmas Wreath

For this post I decided to play at Wicked wednesday atc.  This time the sponsor is Octopode factory and I totally love them!!!  I also figured it was the perfect time to use a freebie image that I had gotten!!!

I printed the image 3 times to be able to give it dimension.  I also fussy cut the interior of that wreath... that was not a fun process lol

I used some left over dp from another project.  I used my label maker for the sentiment and some added little bling.

Here's a look from the side so you really see the dimension.
Cool right?!?  I'm pretty happy with the end result.  I really do love making ATCs

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

  1. Wicked wednesday atc - Happy holidays
  2. Inky chicks - Christmas
  3. Loves rubberstamps challenges - Anything goes
  4. Party time tuesdays - Anything goes
That's it for me for tonight!  I'll be back in a few hours with a DT post and a special post... Hope to see you back.

Hugs

Christmas Robin

Good evening.  How was your day?  Ours was a pj day!!!!  Love those.  This is the 1st one and now we have another one planned for when we come back from my FIL.

So I had time to craft and play ;o)  I made some DT stuff but also stuff just for fun like this Christmas card that's going to be ready for next year!!!  Yup need to start early!!!

So I wanted to play over at Just some lines blog so I played with the Christmas Robin ;o)

Ho ho ho

Well it's been forever since there was a post here ;o)  The last one being on Tuesday!  Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.  Mine was... you could say interesting lol

I took down our tree this morning so all trace of Christmas is out of my house now ;o)  And took my Christmas cards out.  The handmade ones are going to be stored.  But I had a little purchased one that I thought was really cute and I remembered Hazel making a bunch of cards last year recycled from old cards!  I thought this would be a great opportunity to make one as well.

So here's my card with a little image from a Papyrus card.

My snowey friend

I'm here to share with you one last little post!!!  Hope you have all a very Merry Christmas with your family!!!  Hope that you get to enjoy it without all the craziness!

I'm sharing with you a little card that I did on Saturday with a preprinted image that I had done for Sami stamp.  I really wanted to play and since I had already printed it out... I figured I really had no excuse not to play along.  And since I have left many DTs I had some time on my hand to play just for fun like this.... not that I need an excuse to play with those cute digis lol

So I'm using the great digi called my snowey friend.

Holly girl framed

I'm back with another little creation made with a great digi from Dilly beans This time I'm using the fabulous 452 - Holly girl Framed.

I just looooove this image.  It's just perfect for a Christmas card.  Of course mine are all done so this is one for next year's stack!!!  Yup getting ready early this way I don't have to freak out close to the holidays.

It was soooo fun playing with some Dilly Beans.  It had been awhile ;o)  Missed it!

bundled up penguin

Hello everyone!  So what have you been up too today?!?  I got some totally fabulous news!!!!  I'm one of the 2 GDT for Meljen's.  That's the best before Christmas present I could get.  Meljen's image are just sooo awesome.  There's a few artist like that that I have been hoping to one day to design for... and this day is here at least for this one ;)

We also went as a family to see the The Hobbit at the movie theatres!  Great movie except for the part about the disgusting spiders!!!!  Way too long that part...

And then I had made some great chili in the crockpot so we got home to a nice meal.  Yup a great day. And to finish it off I made 2 creations just for fun with some Dilly Bean images!  Just adore those.  When I said that there where a few artist... well Dilly bean is one of them. So hopefully one day I get to design for them.  In the meantime I try to play as much as possible... and it's been awhile since I have been able too.  So I wanted to play along at Wicked Wednesday ATC (snow bird this week) and Dilly bean (Christmas or winter).

I used the super cute 291 - Bundled penguin for this ATC and while I was searching for the proper tag to put on this post... I realized that they have a BOGO sale... yikes... it might be expensive for me lol

So this is my little ATC what do you think?!?  I used a sentiment from Create with TLC.  Made little snowflakes with my CM punch and some bling.  The sentiment was cut with my label 18 and edge with peacock distress ink.  I fussy cut the image.  I used a little left over piece of DP!!!!  So happy when I can use even the smaller pieces.  The ATC base was also made with a left over cardstock paper.

I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges since that's why I made it in the 1st place lol

  1. Dilly beans challenge - Christmas or winter
  2. Wicked Wednesday atc- Snowbirds
I'll be back with another creation soon!!!!

Hugs

Melonheadz DT post - Anything goes

Hello everyone!!!  It's Monday but I'm on vacation so it's all good... except that this is my last post for the great Melonheadz challenge.  It's such a great team and I'm very sad to be leaving but it's time for me to move on to something else ;o)  And saying that... they will have a DT call!!!  So send out your name and e-mail out!  You don't want to miss this out.

Our challenge for you is Anything goes!!! How fun right?!?

For this card I decided to get some Christmas cards done for next year.  And I used the fabulous Christmas stuff bundle.  I did one of the images twice so that I could decoupage it!!!  And that's what I did with the bow.

Mamma always said...

So today is a special day!  It's my hubby's b-day!!!!  So happy birthday Marc Paul!!!!  And I wanted to make him a special b-day card.  So when I had been shopping at The East wind I came across this great digi called Christmas tree with sexy girl and I thought that was just perfect and would be his b-day card!

I just gave it to him and I have to admit that I was right... he loved it lol

Scribbles and scrap DT post - December 22nd 2013

Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your last weekend before Christmas.  I know that this can be a pretty hectic time for most.  I'm lucky because I got everything done ahead of time... so no running around like a crazy person right now!  Especially since I have absolutely no patience in the line ups and the parking lots...

So right now I'm here to share with you a little card that I did for my DT post of Scribbles and Scrap and this time I used one of the little digis to make a little card to go with the gift that I had made for my colleagues.  It's good to make little gifts... but you have to make little cards to go with them... yikes that meant 8 little cards!  Good thing that this image is precolored and sooo cute.

It's from the great set Vintage girls photo topper 2 and as you can see they are super versatile because you can use them for Christmas as well as other occasions!

One last post with Xmas images from Nicecrane

ok so one last post lol  I told you that I made some fast little Christmas cards for my colleagues?!?  Well here are 3 little fast cards that I made using a bunch of different sets from Nicecrane designs

The 1st one using this set:
I figured it was fun since I had used this little image for one of the jars... The paper was from my scrap pile

The 2nd card was done using this fabulous set:
Christmas Children Greetings - Click Image to Close
I just love the vintage look of this Santa!!!  The paper is again from my scrap pile

And finally my last card using this great set:
I just love those 3 little girls so enchanted in front of the tree!!! This time again it's with some left over papers as well as a great sentiment from Create with TLC and cut with my nesting frames from Quickuts.
It was really awesome because the cards had different feel to them but were so fast to put together since the images were pre-colored!!!  Just what I needed for this project.

I'm entering these in the following challenges:
  1. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge - Last minutes Christmas cards
  2. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge2 - Extra challenge for December anything goes
  3. Stamping with dragon - Last minute Christmas
  4. Loves rubberstamps challenges - Anything goes
That's it now for me for tonight!!!  Hope you have a great night and I'll be back tomorrow.

Hugs

Thank you cards

Told you that I would be back... but this time I'm here to share with you 2 little cards that I did for my massage therapist as part of a little gift pack for her.  I decided to use 2 great images from Nicecrane designs.  These are part of a great pack of Christmas digis but there are some without sayings... so I made them into Thank you cards ;)  For any occasions! See how versatile that set is?!?  Just click on the image to get to the set.  It's only 4.50$ for all 5 gorgeous images.

So I used some small card bases that I had in my stash.  And I used some left over papers YAY for me!  in my stash.  The sentiments are from Stamping up!  I was lucky to finally find a great stamping up demonstrator close by!!!  And just had to purchase these Thank you stamps.  I embossed them with some recollection silver powder.
 and here's the 2nd card.
I think we are always in need for some little Thank you cards so this was a great addition to the gift set that I gave her.

I'm entering these in the following challenges:
  1. Drunken stampers - Embossing - I used heat embossing for these
  2. Wordart wednesday - Anything goes
  3. Everybody-art-challenge - No Christmas card
That's it for this post... not sure if I will have the energy to make one more lol even if I do have some more cards to share with you folks!

Hugs

Prim Snowman

Hello!  So how was your Saturday?!?  Hope you got to enjoy it a bit! Here the weather was frightful... freezing rain... but it's ok because we wanted to clean the house and do all the chores!!!  So that's what we did... and now it feels wonderful.  But I have to admit to HATING the dreaded H word lol

So remember the little jars that I did for my colleagues... well with a little gift comes the need for some little cards... so here is one of the cards that I did with the super fun image from Pholkart Studio I used the fun Prim Snowman he's only 2$$$  So a great deal.

The fun part of making a small card is that you get to use the leftovers!!!  So that's what I did here with some scraps from my ever growing scrap pile!  I used my great curved rectangle and petite label 1 from Spellbinder.  I added some buttons from the dollar store.

The digi colored with my copics.  I added some evergreen bough distress ink all around the image and the sentiment which is from Create with TLC.

I'm entering this little card in the following challenges:

  1. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge - Last minutes Christmas cards
  2. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge2 - Extra challenge for December anything goes
  3. Patties creations challenge - Snowy scene within the image
  4. Stamping with dragon - Last minute Christmas
That's it for this post!  I'll be back with another one ;o)

Angel Elisabete

I'm back as promised.  And this time I'm here to share with you the last of my little jar presents ;o)  I made the last one with the great digi that was offered as the Simply betty stamps - Fan page challenge!  It's the fabulous Angel Elisabete that I chose... so hard to make a choice because all 3 images were fabulous.

I cut out the back part of the digi because I didn't want the matches hope in my image(Corinne and Betty are not too upset with me!!!)... I printed the image twice and mirrored it.

Holly Jolly ornament

Good evening everyone!  I'm here to share with you a card that I did with a super image from Create with TLC!  She has 4 fabulous digis for only 1$ each!!!!  Wow what a deal look at the digis:
For my card I went with Holly Jolly ornament.  And the fabulous Carla also used that image so you will see how different your card can be with the same image!

Digital Delight DT post - Tangled lights

Chirstmas elf ornament

Goodevening.  It's Wednesday night... and unfortunately I feel that it should be a Thursday night... I'm one day too fast this entire week!!!!  So this is soooo long!!!!  Can't wait for the holidays I guess.

I'm here to share with you one of the last 2 gifts that I made for my co-workers ;o)  I'm glad to say they loved them.... and it was much cheaper to make than to purchase at Winners (our TJ Max).

This time I'm using one of the great image from Star in my Pocket it's the super cute Christmas elf ornament.  I just find this image sooooo cute!  So I printed this image twice, once mirrored so that I could color it and have it look good on both sides ;o)

Rocky Reindeer

Ok so I was thinking all day that it was Wednesday... and it's only Tuesday night... man it's going to be a long week lol

The good news of the day is that we (my entire department) decorated like crazy at work and we got one of the VP totally impressed with the great work that was done!!!  And he was in shock that the best imagination came from the accounting department... we had a whole fireplace and village going... with roofs, drapes in our windows etc... I will have to take pictures for you guys!!!!

But now I'm here to share my 6th little jar!  This time I'm using the great Rocky Reindeer (a freebie from the FB group) from Dragon's lair to make my little gift.  The ladies and man from my team really loved them.  And the VP as well... he was extremely surprised that I had made those when he saw that my entire department each had one different lol  but please remind me next year not to do anything that crazy again (8 last minute gifts... what on earth was I thinking)... man that was sooooo long lol

Bit by the Bug Tuesday: Winterbug

Hello everyone!  It is time for another Bit By the Bug Tuesday and that means that it is time to introduce you all to the newest freebie over at Creative Bug on the Loose.  This week we have...

It's the perfect digi for Christmas
Here's my creation with this great image  I decided to make a little gift instead of the typical card ;o)  I have seen one of those jars over at winners for 15$ I figured I could do something like this to give to my employees.  I gave them all out yesterday all 8 of them and they totally love them!!!

Cozy winter mailbox

So how was your Monday?!?  I'm glad that mine is over... it was pretty bad traffic wise... that's what happens when it snows, now the streets are all congested until they pick up the snow... and ran out of windshield washer fluid.... yup over all just happy the day is over.

The good news is that my employees really liked their little homemade gifts ;o)  And as promised I'm here to share another one with you!  This time with a really sweet Meljen's image this time I'm using the great Cozy winter mailbox.  It was really appropriate with all the snow outside lol  I went with some green and red to be able to play again in the challenge of this week.  And of course I will reiterate how much I want one of those 2 GDT!!!!!  Ok... yup... I know... I'm grovelling...

So here's my little Christmas jar.

Path of positivity Challenge # 9 -midway post - Joy

Hello!  I'm back this time to remind you that there's still time to participate over at Path of positivity challenge for the challenge about joy.  All you have do to is tell us what joy means to you, or what brings joy to you!

That's only 1 of the 4 sponsors that we have for this challenge!!!  And I'm using the great digi Snowman.

Eureka DT post - It's starting to look a lot like Christmas

Pretty Poinsettia

Here's my last post of the night and no I'm not sharing some other of my jars ;o)  you will have to wait to see the other 5 that I made!!! ;o)

This time I'm here to share with you a little card that I made to participate in the latest challenge over at Meljens designs.  I really really want to be one of the chosen 2 GDT!  Yup only 2 :(  So I'm trying to share with the team how much I want in!!!! lol

For this card I used the great image Pretty poinsettia and I printed it out 4 times.  I colored it with my copics and then decoupaged it!  It's a long process but I really love the dimension that I got out of it.

Honey faery godmother

Ok so this post is one of the little jars that I made as a gift and this time I'm sharing with you a fabulous address for some awesome freebies!!!  And then you should go and check out the etsy store....  it's the great Faery Ink and she even has a FB page here.  I came across her fabulous art via my friend Susan!  And just had to create something.

So I have some of the image preprinted... just ready to be colored.  But then when I came across the little jar idea!  I thought there had to be some of the images that I could use for this project.  And low and behold there was!  So I used the freebie called Honey Faery Godmother.  Soooo cute.  I printed the image twice one of them mirror so that I could use it on both side and make it pretty all the way around.

Ti Elf

So what have you been up to?  I got to craft today since it was snowing... and since I needed to make more of those gift jars.  I will be back with another one later.  But for now I'm here to share with you a little card that I made for the challenge over at Lady Anne's.  It's the progressive challenge and this month the sponsor is Oak Pond.

I have already created with one of the images and needed to do something with the other image that was already colored way back... which is great because guess what... if you give a gift.. you should give a card right?!?  So I made a few really fast little cards to give with the jars.  And this is one of them.

What's really fun is that I used my scrap papers!!! YAY!

The card base in gold is from the dollar store.  I used my Label 18 and petite label 1 from spellbinder.  The image was colored with my copics, I added some stickles to the hat and some glossy accent for the eyes.

The great sentiment is from Create with TLC

I'm entering this little card in the following challenges:
  1. Lady Anne's - Progressive challenge
  2. Clean and simple on sunday - CAS - that's pretty much what I did... no embellishments ;o)
  3. Hiding in my craftroom - Use your scraps
I will be back with some more posts ;o)

Hugs

Happy Christmas

Hello I'm back to share some little jars that I made this time with a great digi from Nicecrane Designs.  I used one of the image from the great set below.  You can just click on the image to get to the set!

Happy Santa CS - Click Image to Close

So I printed the image twice and reverse the image for one of them so that the image is the same on both side.  It also gives more strenght to it.

Scribbles challenge DT post - Shades of white

Hello!  I'm back this time with my post for Scribbles design challenge and our challenge this time is Shades of white!

That's what I dread the most.... well maybe not the most but a lot lol

For my card I decided to use one of the great zentangle image because I wanted some interest for the shades of white.... so it's Seeds of love.

OSAAT - Challenge # 194

OMG it's been forever since I was here for a OSAAT challenge ;o)  So this time our challenge is a super easy one for the Christmas time!  It's Anything goes.

For my card I used the super fun BBKakes image Emolie Flapper.  I thought it was perfect for the swap that I had to do over at Stamping dragon on FB, it was New year... so I went with a new year celebration type ;o)

Bundle up snowman

I'm back yet again... and in between my posts ended up one of my DT post... so yes it's been a busy night lol.

For this creation I did something different... but you will be seeing 8 of these with different digis.  I came across this concept over at Winners (our Canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx) And I thought it would make a great gift.  It was 15$...and well I figured I could probably make it much cheaper and could give it out to my department (well the ones that work on the same floor as me... 'cause over all I have a lot of other folks.. it's just that they are not in the immediate vicinity).  So I went shopping at the dollar store and this is what I came out with!!!  Well one of them lol

So for this I used another great digi from Pholk art Studio.  This time I used the digi Bundle up snowman.

613 Avenue Create - CAS

Hello everyone!  It's Sunday and I'm really glad that I'm staying home... the weather is announcing snow...  so it's nice not to be stuck in traffic and to be crafting instead lol

So it's time for a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this time our twist for you if you choose to accept is CAS!  And that's not as easy as it sounds lol

Our fabulous sponsor is:
Bugaboo Stamps
For this card I used the super fun image Snowman Block.
