Doodle Pantry - Journal

Hello everyone!  I'm sharing one of the last page from my journal... might actually be the last... not sure lol  But this time around it's for Doodle Pantry and I'm using the fabulous set On the Road:
On the Road
And since this was my camping/vacation journal this set seemed SOOOOO appropriate that I just HAD to use it!

And now I have to explain why I used it on this page.  We were going to a friend's house from our campground.   Since we only do this road trip once a year we used the GPS... but that stupid system got us taking the longer road version... at least that's what I think because when we return I know the road and didn't follow the indication and we got back faster... sooo....I think I'm better than the GPS and next year we will probably start the trajectory and just us it for the last little bit lol

So that's my page with our friends and my daughter playing with Jim :)  See Jim you made it on my blog!!!
And here's a closer look of the fab digi and so appropriate sentiment in this case lol  I used my label 11 from Spellbinder to cut out the sentiment.

I'm entering this journal page in the following challenges:
  1. Crafty sentiments - Add a sentiment
  2. Papertake weekly - Anything goes
That's it for me for today!!!  Hope you have a fabulous day!

Hugs

  2. I also no longer depend on the GPS...yes...seems it always gives you the longest route. I've even tried it knowing where I was going just to see what it would do...oh brother....my GPS is packed up. I know use google on my phone and it's been spot on. Oops...the journaling page. Darling

  6. What a great idea to use this set to scrapbook. I'm going to admit that I giggled more than a little bit over your GPS story! I can TOTALLY identify! Hubby and I have noticed that the GPS tends to use THE most obscure roads. We call them "Bob's roads" because no one but a lone dude driving on a tractor (Bob) is generally on them! It takes FOREVER to get there!
