The East Wind challenge - Tip of the hat

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge over at The east wind and this time around it's about HATS!  Fun right?!?  There are so many fabulous images that can be used from the east wind that it was hard to decide which one to use...

Finally I decided to use the totally cute Aurora Explore And I went layering crazy on this card...

The paper is from Basic Grey - Oxford.  I love that stack...and now I'm almost out lol.  I did some stitching all around the card and the pannels.  I used some metal button embellishments.  I used my Nesting ovals from Quickutz.  I distressed all the edges as well with my Tim Holtz distresser.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with copics and that I fussy cut.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Craft for the craic - Birthdays or anniversary
  2. Sister act card challenge - Anything goes
  3. Cuttin and stampin challenges - Masculine
That's it for this post but there's LOTS more coming your way today.  Good thing that I work in advance lol

Hugs
