So their theme was Cherry blossom and here's what I did with it.
I thought she was just sooooo adorable!  I colored her with my copics.  I added a little flower from the dollar store. The paper is all left overs.  I also used my large and small circles from Spellbinder.  The great sentiment is from Create wtih TLC.

I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges:

  1. Wicked wednesday atc  - Cherry blossom - that was the inspiration to this piece
  2. Come and get it - One for the girls - doesn't get much more girly than this!
  3. Polka doodle - Use a die
Hope that blogger works properly :)  I'm off to see the doctor....  Hope he can help with my insomnia.... and well I want to get back to normal.... so be nice if I could function a full day like normal!!!!!

Naughty or Nice - Rosey Hearts

Naughty or nice... that's always the question the one that we have so much trouble answering... naughty can be fun.... but nice well you get to go to heaven right?!? So what should you do?!?  Well right now the great challenge over at Rosey Hearts Challenges is just about that!!!!!

And this seemed the perfect layout for a double spread in my journal.  I had some great images from Rosey Hearts that needed to be shown that I had purchased before being on the team.... and well that just brought the idea to my head.  So I asked for the naughty image Bad Bear and I paired it up with one of the fab images from the set Fairy teddy bear Sugarstix it's only 8.95$ for 6 images!!!!!  So as fab deal that's what I thought and I used another of those fab image for my little niece's card..... but you can also get this image individually here Fairy teddy bear

So here's my little journal pages where I went a bit nuts... well I had fun and was creative that's the point right?!?!

Dragon Moon

Well I didn't feel all that good yesterday... it was a really blah day overall.... My FIL is getting much worst... prayers and thoughts would be appreciated for him and the family.  I was having back pain again and to top it off the washing machine decided to give me issues.... so yeah... felt and did cry.  And then I had insomnia even with the medication....

In order to change my mind at least a little bit with a great Rosey Heart image.  My daughter had a scrapbook page frame with nothing in it... I thought this cute little Dragon moon would be perfect for her room.

Here's the frame!  So happy that I'm doing other stuff than cards and it's appreciated!!!

Eeny Meeny - Rick St-Dennis

Hello!  I'm doing something different for my usual cards for the Airless chambers....  Because of the fabulous Bonnie I have started Journaling...and got SOOOOOO hooked that I actually got up to sketch it up before I would forget about it.

I had the fabulous image Eeny Meeny to craft with and I thought it was the perfect image to use for my Poker make.  I purchased a poker set for the kids to play with during the spring break... and my hubby well he though it wasn't the best idea and that it would gather dust and not be used.... but low and behold the kids LOOOOVED it!

So here's my journal page to put the memory down.

Moni - Rosey Hearts

So how are you?!?  It's been awhile since I posted just for the fun of it... I haven't been feeling all that good... that fall that I took ended up screwing with my sleep and well when my sleep is affected everything else is... I guess that's why I'm still home and not working.

I still have issues with my back... can't stay standing or sitting too long :(  Oh well I guess that's what happens when you get older?!?  I'm still creating but not as much....

So I journaled yesterday.  I really really really love this new art form.  It really allows me to be creative and let everything go.  It's up to my imagination, no restriction.

There's a great image from Rosey Hearts it's called Moni.  I shared the watermarked version to Paulette from Create with TLC and she made this special sentiment to go with it!

Now that sentiment will end up as a freebie.... for a little while before making it's way to the store!  So watch out for it!!!!!  and you really should be a follower to make sure you don't miss anything!

Here's my journaling

Davina - Art by Mi Ran

Ohhhh there's some fab digis from Rick St-Dennis under the name of Randi Dandi over at I brake for stamps and one of them is the fabulous Alice with Tea Cup

Here's what I created with her.  I realized after that I had mistaken her bandanna for hair... talk about an idiot.... oh well.... I still think it turned out cute!

I went with some really bright colors because that's what Alice in wonderland means to me!  And I hunted all over my stash of paper to find the teacup one :)  I knew I had some... the question was WHERE!

Path of positivity - Serendipity challenge - Midway post

The challenge over at Path of positivity challenge is serendipity and I'm here to share my midway post.

Our fabulous sponsors this time around are:
http://www.lunagirl.com/, and

And this time I'm using a digi from Sami Stamps called With You.

I thought it would be perfect for the serendipity moment that I was going to share with you.  Back when I was in university I had lots of fun going to the student pub on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights.  But that Saturday I didn't feel like going out.  It was March 16th of 1991, 24 years ago today!  My friend convinced me that we should and that I would have fun. Finally I agreed and went out.  And this was the night where I danced for the 1st time some slow songs with the boy that was to become my husband!  We have been together ever since.  Now that friend who got me to go... well I don't even remember her name lol all that I remember is that she didn't like Marc Paul and had a lousy night that night!  But I'm very happy that I did follow her advice because had I not gone out... well I might not be happily married with 4 fabulous kids.

After this story you will understand my choice of image!

My Whimsical little World - Geisha new release

There's a brand new release over at My Whimsical little world and I'm sharing with you the adorable Geisha!!!

Just before I do that however I want to remind you of 2 things!  The 1st one is that there's a great progressive challenge going on over at the FB group and if you participate you will get next month's image FREE (and it's adorable).  My other reminder is that there's a great freebie on the blog!  So go on and get it... well after you have read my post that is!

Ok so here's my very CAS make with this sweet little Geisha.  I thought the paper was just so very pretty that it would be sad to cover it up and she just looked perfect in the center of it!

Joker - Rosey Hearts

Well it's still all white here... and I did what the doctor ordered yesterday I went out for a walk even if it was slippery and not the best of weather... and I slip and fell right on my back.... both feet in the air no time to put my hands down.  My back is killing me now.... Don't think I will be doing hot yoga today :(

Before I had taken that walk I had finished a little journal page for Rosey Hearts.  I got a second journal so that I can play with it when the other one is drying.  And here's the make that I did with the fab image Joker

I paired it up with a great set from Create with TLC that's called Roll the dice and I thought it was the perfect set to go with the great image.
Roll the Dice Digi Image and Word Art Set
I have to admit I'm pretty proud of myself for doing what I had set up to do which is do more of other stuff than just cards!  And well the journal are all Bonnie's fault if she's reading this lol she got me hooked!

Karleigh Sue Sexy Challenge - Lace it up

It's time for a new challenge over at Karleigh Sue Challenge and this time it's about lace!  Appropriate for a sexy challenge right?!?

I used the fab Glama for this make.

Here's my 2 page journaling with this sexy image.  I thought it would be a great time to use some of my lace (I have some very large black lace that I can't really use on cards that I thought would be awesome with this image).

Sparkle and Glitter Progressive challenge - Spring

Hello!  I'm here to remind you that there's 15 more days to participate in the great Sparkle and Glitter progressive challenge.  The challenge this time is spring and if you participate you get next month's image for FREE!!!!  That should be pretty awesome incentive to participate!

For my make I decided to make a little easter gift for my stepmom.  She just adores rabbits!  So I used one of the fab rabbits from RSD called Whack.a.doo Easter bunny

The frame was purchased on clearance at Homesense (our equivalent of TJ Maxx)

The East Wind Challenge - Spring in her step

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at The East wind and this time around it's about spring.  I don't know if you are like me but I'm very much looking forward to spring finally being there!

Simply Betty - Geishas

WOW there's a bunch of new images being released today!!!  And wow they are so gorgeous!    It's a fab line of Geishas from Simply Betty and you can find them in the store here.  And they are LIMITED!!!  So you totally WANT to get them while they are available!

When I saw them... well I just had to create with them ALL.  So this is a post with lots of pictures you have been warned :)

I took out my favorite paper packs as well for this because it required some awesome Asian papers!

The 1st one that I'm sharing is done with Cherry Blossom Geisha.  I really love how she makes me think of spring!!!

The paper for this one is from Basic Grey Knonnichiwa.  I colored her up based on some of colors from the paper.  Like the little turquoise bird on the right.  I used my Nesting ovals from Quickutz.  I added some flowers from my stash and some bling from Darice as well as a little lace.  The corner die is from Cheery Lynn Dies B165 Lace corner.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics (BG32,W9,W7,W5,W3,RV21,R20, E0000,E000,E00)
The next one that I'm sharing is the fab Koi Geisha!  I just love Kois!!!  I used to have some outside until a RACOON ate them all :( Again I found the inspiration from the paper to color her up.
The paper is from Bobunny - Serenity (I adore bobunny paper!!!!  in fact I kind of hoard it....) I used my nesting frame 1 and 3 from Quickutz.  I added some twine from American Craft and a little charm from my stash as well as some metal corners.  The digi was edged with Peacock feather distress ink.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics (BG32,BG23,BG11,B000,YR02,RY04,RY16,YR18,E23, E25, E0000,E000,E00, W9,W7,W5,W3, R05)
This next one is Umbrella girl.  There's 2 versions... and I just HAD to create with both.  One is with hair up and the other with hair down.

The 1st one that I'm showing is with hair up.  I printed this image quite large.  I found some great paper and decided to leave it CAS because well I didn't think that more would be better in this case.  She just seemed so very regal... and elegant.  I didn't want to take from that.

The paper for this one is also from Bobunny - Serenity.  I used my fancy tag 2 to cut the sentiment.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my (R27,R29, C9,C7,C5,C2 E21,E23,E25,E0000,E000,E00)
And here's the last one the Umbrella Geisha with all the fab hair!!!!!  SOOOOO FUN
Again I left it fairly CAS because I wanted the dramatic effect of the black and red and that paper to pop out.  The paper is again from Bobunny - Serenity.  I used my Nesting ovals from Quickutz.  The pearls are from Queen and Co.

Here's the closer look at the colored digi with my copics (T4,T1, E04,R21,R27,R29, C9,C7,C5,C2 E21,E23,E25,E0000,E000,E00)
