Don't be square

If you are here for the coffee blog hop it's here . I'm trying to keep busy.... and that means doing something with myself. I have found that today I'm exhausted.... guess the news of this week is sinking in and the emotions that washed over me have left me kind a tired.... Tomorrow is emptying of my office day.... and I'm so glad that my hubby will be with me because I don't think I could just face going there alone.  Might be emotional you know?!? Anyway as I have been sharing with you since January I've been pushing myself to do new things!  And that includes doing LOTS of things that I had never done before.  Including altering books!  I've been reading lots of Mixed Media books and that brings a smile to me.  So a good way to feel somewhat better. And I've also tried to make some gifts that come Christmas I can give out and that will mean something to whoever is getting it.  This one is for my daughter (she doesn't read my blog.... and I s

Special valentine

Image
I'm back but this time I'm here to share a special Valentine's card that I made for my daughter!  She totally adores dragons!  So when there was a sale over at  Tiddly inks  I couldn't stop myself and just had to get Dragon Friend!  I thought it would make an awesome card for her.  Then recently in the Valentine's club  Create with TLC  had a fabulous sentiment for a daughter!  So I just HAD what was required to make her the best Valentine's day card for her. It was also the perfect time to play over at Tiddly's ink challnge because it's about CAS and I left this card quite CAS  I really wanted the emphasize on the digi!!!

A summer goodbye

Goodevening!!!  How was your day?  Mine was really good.  I didn't craft as much as I had thought... but it was a nice day spent with the family! I'm here tonight to share with you a little card that I had so much intention to do way before.. but then again you know what happens... and life takes hold and I didn't do my card.  So today it was time.  And this is the great time because I can share over at  Show-it-off-sunday  from Create with TLC .  It's the time to share something crafty that you have done! So this little card is the perfect thing to share since not only did I make it but I also used a great sentiment from  Create with TLC .  That was actually the start of this card.  I was really stomped as to what I should do for the challenge over at  Tiddly Inks .  It's about goodbye... and I didn't  need any goodbye card but then I came across this sentiment and figured this was perfect!!!  And I had an image that was a freebie from Tiddly Ink don'

A little card for my son

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous Sunday!  I had a lot of fun.  I crafted a lot... but this time I was pretty naughty... I crafted for me... and to enter some challenges that I really wanted to participate in... so I'm going to be really really late with my DT card next week if I don't craft this week lol  oops... but it was lot's of fun. The card that I'm showing you is made for my son William who will be starting in a new school this week... he's really upset with the change... and rightly so.  The school system reorganized the schools and to make a long story short he's changing school for his grade 5 and 6.... :(  So I wanted to bring a smile to his face that day.  There's a challenge going on at Tiddly Inks about school.  And this seemed appropriate for him.  I used a wonderful little image called Kiki.  It was a freebie (might still be in the store).  See, our dogs have had the kids with them the entire summer... so for them as well it will be

Hello Pet

Image
Good evening everyone!  I'm posting late... but I just finished all my DT posts and really want to post this little card before going to bed to make sure that I get it in time for the challenge over at Tiddly Inks. I fell across a great sale and they had the cutest new digis... so just couldn't resist.  Especially since it was just perfect for my teenager ;o)  So I had to purchase the set which is called Hello Pet.  It comes with some great sentiments as well. Here's my card with this new set.  Hope you like it!  My daughter totally loved it.  It helps that I used some of the colors she really loves lol

Sunny Day in Mtl!

Image
Today was a wonderful sunny day in MTL.  I had to do the cleaning of the house and take care of a few errands my boys since my hubby is gone to see is mom with my daughter.  I was also a chauffeur to the youngest who even if it was his 9th birthday (Happy b-day William) was going to his best friend's b-day party.  Then while the laudry was being done, I crafted a bit... one for DT work and 2 for fun (one not complete yet ).  And now I'm blogging but enjoying the sun and the pool at the same time ;)))) I've been wanting to participate in Tiddly's Ink challenges for the longest of time... and I never did.  Today I decided was the day.  Their challenge was about pink!  I had gotten a Freebie digi called Value.    I used it and changed the coloring to pink and all the lines to black with word ;)  I was really happy that I actually managed that.  I'm really really lousy at Word so making any changes to a picture is quite impressive! I used my Sweet Owl - First Edi
