I'm spoiled.  Told my family that it doesn't take much to make me happy... just big bins of buttons lol So I had a great button that dates I believe quite a few years... I'm using this to make a B-day card but it might just turn into the mother's day card for my mom... we will see... since "Bonne Fête" could be followed inside with a "bonne

Christmas Wreath

Image
For this post I decided to play at  Wicked wednesday atc .  This time the sponsor is Octopode factory and I totally love them!!!  I also figured it was the perfect time to use a freebie image that I had gotten!!! I printed the image 3 times to be able to give it dimension.  I also fussy cut the interior of that wreath... that was not a fun process lol I used some left over dp from another project.  I used my label maker for the sentiment and some added little bling. Here's a look from the side so you really see the dimension. Cool right?!?  I'm pretty happy with the end result.  I really do love making ATCs I'm entering this in the following challenges: Wicked wednesday atc  - Happy holidays Inky chicks  - Christmas Loves rubberstamps challenges  - Anything goes Party time tuesdays  - Anything goes That's it for me for tonight!  I'll be back in a few hours with a DT post and a special post... So here's my card with a little image from a Papyrus card.

Scribbles and scrap DT post - December 22nd 2013

Image
Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoying your last weekend before Christmas.  I know that this can be a pretty hectic time for most.  I'm lucky because I got everything done ahead of time... so no running around like a crazy person right now!  Especially since I have absolutely no patience in the line ups and the parking lots... So right now I'm here to share with you a little card that I did for my DT post of  Scribbles and Scrap  and this time I used one of the little digis to make a little card to go with the gift that I had made for my colleagues.  It's good to make little gifts... but you have to make little cards to go with them... yikes that meant 8 little cards!  Good thing that this image is precolored and sooo cute. It's from the great set  Vintage girls photo topper 2  and as you can see they are super versatile because you can use them for Christmas as well as other occasions!

One last post with Xmas images from Nicecrane

Image
ok so one last post lol  I told you that I made some fast little Christmas cards for my colleagues?!?  Well here are 3 little fast cards that I made using a bunch of different sets from  Nicecrane designs The 1st one using this set : I figured it was fun since I had used this little image for one of the jars... The paper was from my scrap pile The 2nd card was done using this fabulous set : I just love the vintage look of this Santa!!!  The paper is again from my scrap pile And finally my last card using this great set : I just love those 3 little girls so enchanted in front of the tree!!! This time again it's with some left over papers as well as a great sentiment from  Create with TLC  and cut with my nesting frames from Quickuts. It was really awesome because the cards had different feel to them but were so fast to put together since the images were pre-colored!!!  Just what I needed for this project. I'm entering these in the following chal

Thank you cards

Image
Told you that I would be back... but this time I'm here to share with you 2 little cards that I did for my massage therapist as part of a little gift pack for her.  I decided to use 2 great images from  Nicecrane designs .  These are part of a great pack of Christmas digis but there are some without sayings... so I made them into Thank you cards ;)  For any occasions! See how versatile that set is?!?  Just click on the image to get to the set.  It's only 4.50$ for all 5 gorgeous images. So I used some small card bases that I had in my stash.  And I used some left over papers YAY for me!  in my stash.  The sentiments are from Stamping up!  I was lucky to finally find a great stamping up demonstrator close by!!!  And just had to purchase these Thank you stamps.  I embossed them with some recollection silver powder.  and here's the 2nd card. I think we are always in need for some little Thank you cards so this was a great addition to the gift set that I gave her.

Prim Snowman

Image
Hello!  So how was your Saturday?!?  Hope you got to enjoy it a bit! Here the weather was frightful... freezing rain... but it's ok because we wanted to clean the house and do all the chores!!!  So that's what we did... and now it feels wonderful.  But I have to admit to HATING the dreaded H word lol So remember the little jars that I did for my colleagues... well with a little gift comes the need for some little cards... so here is one of the cards that I did with the super fun image from Pholkart Studio  I used the fun Prim Snowman  he's only 2$$$  So a great deal. The fun part of making a small card is that you get to use the leftovers!!!  So that's what I did here with some scraps from my ever growing scrap pile!  I used my great curved rectangle and petite label 1 from Spellbinder.  I added some buttons from the dollar store. The digi colored with my copics.  I added some evergreen bough distress ink all around the image and the sentiment which is from  Cre

I will have to take pictures for you guys!!!! But now I'm here to share my 6th little jar!  This time I'm using the great  Rocky Reindeer  (a freebie from the FB group) from Dragon's lair to make my little gift.  The ladies and man from my team really loved them.  And the VP as well... he was extremely surprised that I had made those when he saw that my entire department each had one different lol  but please remind me next year not to do anything that crazy again (8 last minute gifts... what on earth was I

So what have you been up to?  I got to craft today since it was snowing... and since I needed to make more of those gift jars.  I will be back with another one later.  But for now I'm here to share with you a little card that I made for the challenge over at  Lady Anne's .  It's the progressive challenge and this month the sponsor is Oak Pond.   I have already created with one of the images and needed to do something with the other image that was already colored way back... which is great because guess what... if you give a gift.. you should give a card right?!?  So I made a few really fast little cards to give with the jars.  And this is one of them. What's really fun is that I used my scrap papers!!! YAY! The card base in gold is from the dollar store.  I used my Label 18 and petite label 1 from spellbinder.  The image was colored with my copics, I added some stickles to the hat and some glossy accent for the eyes. Image
I'm back yet again... and in between my posts ended up one of my DT post... so yes it's been a busy night lol. For this creation I did something different... but you will be seeing 8 of these with different digis.  I came across this concept over at Winners (our Canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx) And I thought it would make a great gift.  It was 15$...and well I figured I could probably make it much cheaper and could give it out to my department (well the ones that work on the same floor as me... 'cause over all I have a lot of other folks.. it's just that they are not in the immediate vicinity).  So I went shopping at the dollar store and this is what I came out with!!!  Well one of them lol So for this I used another great digi from  Pholk art Studio .  This time I used the digi  Bundle up snowman .
