Another Birthday oh my

Image
Hello!  I'm back with another birthday card.  Told you last week that I had LOADS to do... I wasn't lying lol  I wanted to make this one all weekend but I felt really bad... to the point that my daughter actually forced me to stay sitting down doing nothing. Not easy getting old, body parts hurt.... and blood pressure goes haywire on you for no apparent reason just here and there....  oh well that is life isn't it. And speaking of getting old here is the birthday card that I was talking about.  I used another fabulously glamourous girl from Sandra Caldwell called Miss Lula Mae.  She's on special until tomorrow at 1.5$ what a great deal here .  And she's on special because there's a contest on FB group page to use her!!! That contest also ends tomorrow.  So join in!!!  You will see the link in the challenges that I'm entering because of course you KNOW I will be joining in. Now there's also over at Outlawz for the entire month a sponsoring...

Hello!  There's always a need for new b-day cards.  And when you find images that are on special at 1.5$ well that is even better!  The card that I made is using a great image called glamour nana it's from Sandra Caldwell and you can find it here . And right now she's sponsoring over at Outlawz sketch challenge so it's a great opportunity to win more fabulous images! I decided to play along with the sketch this week (something that I had not done in quite a long time!)  because I really need some b-day cards for the upcoming months.  So it was perfect. Here's my card I colored the image with copics and then fussy cut her out.  The glasses were covered with some glossy accent and I put some gel roll pen on the earings as well as on the glasses.  It doesn't really show on the picture but they are all shiny.  The sentiment is from my good friend Lisa Decosse , she had provided me with a bunch of different bonne fête sentiments!  The pap...

Dreams demand patience - The East wind

Hey everyone!  Happy hump day!  Hope your week is great so far.  I can't wait for the weekend for more play time lol but so far the week is still good. Today I'm here to share with you 2 new digis from The East Wind.  One that you can get as a Freebie if you are registered for the newsletter here . For that one I decided to make a journal spread and just have fun and also remind myself that it will take time and patience to make my dreams come true but they will happen! So here is the video if you want to see it: And here is the spread. I used my dylusions paints for this I hadn't played with them in a while.  I added some stenciling.  The dreams is a project life card that I thought was perfect for this and was actually the color inspiration for this spread.  The image was colored with my copics.  I stamped using my rubber placemat. And here is the 2nd make that I did for today.  This time it's using a brand new digi that you ...
