Jump for joy

Image
Hello everyone!!! I decided to play this week over at  Wicked wednesday atc .  And this time the challenge is about Daisies - it's I'm Crazy with Daisies I decided to play with a little stamp that I had and that wasn't inked yet.  It's from Penny Black - it's part of a clear stamp set.  The big size one is called Jump for joy.  The clear set... I don't know it's not written on the plastic.  It also allows me to play in the  Penny b friends saturday challenge  - Anything but a card so since this is an ATC I'm thinking it qualifies! For this little ATC I decided to try doing a special embellishment!  I did a bottle cap embellishment.  I want to get some more ideas!!! And I actually saw a wonderful embellishment on some of my blogger friend Nikki !!! She gave me some tips and I'll be trying those out!!!

Dutch Dare Challenge #188

This week at  Dutch dare  our challenge is to use lace and ribbon!  And our wonderful sponsor is Di's Digi. For my card I decided to try to stay ahead with my Christmas cards... and to use a stamp that...gulp... had not yet been inked... yikes... I've gotten sooo hooked on digis that I have not played with my stamps in quite awhile.  This one is by Penny Black and it's called Mimi dear. For this card I used paper from Basic Grey - Nordic holiday.  I used as well some card stock from BBP.  I used a few dies (Layered poinsettia, Fleur de lis rectangle, scallop circle, classic circle all from Spellbinder.  I also used Dee's wreath builder for the leaves). The ribbon and lace are from my stash.  I don't  do a lot of cards with lace... so this was a challenge for me.  I have it and love the look of it but I don't  use it a lot... what can I say that's why they call it a challenge right?!? Here's the closer image of the stamped mimi.  I used my copi

I have started out my day by making one of the 3 cards that I was asked from colleagues to do.  I showed my work and one of my last card was taken right away.  It's the card that won the top 3 for Especially for you.  Another colleague was eyeing it... so I promised her I would make one for her.  She wanted blue, green and brown colors.  It's for a baptism but she didn't want the typical card for a little boy's baptism... I'm pretty happy with how it came out: I used my little hedgehog from Penny black, colored him with copics and added glossy accent to the balloon to make it shiny. I really hope she likes him... I followed this sketch: I'm entering it in the following challenges: Mojo monday  - sketch Send a smile 4 kids  - card for a boy Going-buggy  - card for a boy Stamptacular sunday challenge  - layers Paper sundaes  - let's get cute Dream valley challenges  - earth colors So I'm off to make a tag... this time for me ;)

Last little card for the night

Image
I managed to make a last little card for the night.  I was still in the reuse what you have mode... so I used a bunch of the scrap paper that I had and I created a card that would fit the sketch that I had not yet completed. To make this card I used like I mentioned scraps of papers and ribbon and a little hedgehog stamp from Penny Black.   I made it using this sketch:   I'm entering it in the following challenges: Especially made  - Sketch Crafty catz weekly challenge  - Animal (my little Penny black hedgehog fits right in ;) ) Penny black at all sorts  - oh so cute (my 3rd entry) Fab n funky challenges  - on all four ;) well mine is running... but i'm sure it still counts lol I'm really happy with my day.  It was a busy one with the cleaning, laundry, driving my daughter to volunteer work and back but I still managed to do a lot of projects.  So it was good ;) See you tomorrow. I did have time for one more card!  I've been wanting to play at the deconstructed sketch... never made it in time.  So this is my 1st attempt. I used the Penny Black Hook, line and sinker stamp.  Here's the sketch: I'm entering my latest card in the following challenges: Critter challenge blog  - Critter Incy wincy designs  - Cute Critter Deconstructing jen  - The sketch Penny black at all sorts  - oh sooo cute Paper take weekly  - water water everywhere Party time tuesdays  - Water That's it for me folks.  Another beautiful day crafting!!!  Tomorrow it's back to work I go.  Keep on commenting my posts!  I just looooove reading all of you. Bonne Fête

So I continued my crafting.  I made a little French B-day card.  I wanted to enter in the card for men, and now their challenge is make a manly card with spring colors... not that easy.  When you think men you think darker colors.  At least I do.  But I'm pretty happy with the result. I used a really cute sketch as the inspiration for this card: Isn't it cute!  I just had to try doing something with it.  I had to reduce the middle circle however because my card was too small to put another bigger circle... and I had already made my bow... so I was stuck...   I'm entering this one in the following challenges: I spy sketches  - the amazing sketch Cards for men  - manly card in spring colors Penny black at all sorts  - Oh so cute (with penny black image) Love to create challenge  - Birthday cc monthly challenge  - four legged friends Whimsy inspires  - use ribbon in card I wonder what my next card will be... these challenges are forcing me to think out
