Jackson's Digital Expressions - Challenge #14

Image
Hello Everyone!  Today at Jacksons digital expressions  our Anything goes challenge is with the Alternate art team.  This means that the twist is to transform something.  And the transformation should be school related.  We are being sponsored by the wonderful I really love her designs!!!!  I've played with a few as you will have seen on my blog for those who have been following me for awhile. As you guys know... I'm not usually really fond of transforming objects... really good with cards, scrapbook pages... but to put a digi on something else is a stretch for me.  But since I wanted to play along I thought and thought and thought some more and finally came out with this.  I started out with a brown paper gift bag bought 2/1$ at the dollar store: And created this with it: I used some papers that I had in my pile of scraps (the one with the balloons).  I added some buttons and put some ribbon through them.  The buttons co...

Enjoying today

Today I woke up with a bit of a sore throat.... gives me a sexy voice for Father's day lol  I don't understand how that happen, I was fine last night and enjoyed the afternoon and evening with our family (dad, brother, sil and the twins (so so so gorgeous babies!)).  Anyway... it is what it is.   So I decided to get ahead with my DT work... trying to make cards ahead so that I can enjoy my 2 weeks vacation coming up.  Plus might go next weekend to my MIL's house so the cards need to be done in time. I saw a challenge at Mayzy Arts.  It was Black!  There's a few of her wonderful images that I have not yet used up.  One of them coming from the Outlaws.  It's a freebie!  And soooo cute.  I thought it would be wonderful for this theme.  Plus I didn't enter Sketch Saturday this week... so I really wanted to do so this week. I did all kinds of stuff for this card.  The grey and black at the top is a ribbon that I purchased a...

Molly and Booboo

Image
I had a request to make a card for a colleague.  Her daughter is celebrating her 18th birthday soon.  I had a great digi image from  Mayzyart  "Molly and Booboo" and this was just perfect for this young adult.  I also changed the picture to add the cup from Tim Horton (seems that she really likes her Tim Horton Ice capuccino ;) ) I really hope that my colleague likes it! I followed this sketch: I'm entering it in the following challenges: Robyns fetish challenge blog  - blue with buttons and bows Sketch saturday  - Sketch Jacksons digital expressions  - Anything goes (there was a great color inspiration... but I was into blues today...) Do it with digis challenge  - card with a Digi and number Digi doodle shops best  - anything goes Now I'm off to create a few mother's day card... I think some of my co-workers may need some this week... Vicky xo

Rosebud the Fairy

Image
In continuation with the rest of my post today, I spoiled myself by buying some great digi images from this artist  Mayzy art  there was so much choice that it was difficult to limit myself lol.  My creation this afternoon is with Rosebud the Fairy.  The sentiment was a freebie that I got from  Scribbles by sandy . To make this card I used My mind's eye paper and I used my wonderful nestabilities for the scallop circle as well as the regular circle.  I colored my little fairy with copics and used Stardust stickles on her wings which you see better here: Isn't she just a cutie?!?  Don't you just want to run and get her? ;)   I used this sketch: I really feel that with each card, I'm improving!!!  Thank you my wonderful followers for being there and seeing this transformation. I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Polly craft challenge blog  - sketch Crafty catz weekly challenge  - Anything g...
