Part 4 of Journaling by 5s - using Playing cards

Image
Ok so we are already at the part 4 of the playing cards!  And this time around I used a bunch of different digi stamps and sentiments because that's what this step is about stamps and sentiments. I also used some images that I found in some great books purchased at Winners our equivalent of TJ Max for only 0.30 and 0.70 :)  they were about weird hats and beards and weird dog coats that you can knit!  I thought they would make some great pictures for my journaling on the cards and other pages and I wasn't wrong!!!! I'm showcasing some upcoming DT work stuff.... so won't be sharing all the links with this video... but you can see some in the description of the video. Enjoy :) Hugs and have a great Monday night

Last post of Junk journal 1

Hello!  My computer is back!  OH OH OH BOY so very happy to be on my own little baby instead of using my hubby's.  It's just not the same using his....  He doesn't  have all my software... and I can't rearrange my stuff to find it easily. The good thing is that my digis are on a little SD card so I can have them always with me.... and I wasn't without them.... and I also knew that I would not be losing them if the harddrive had an issue... and YES it's one drive that I copy often because I really don't want to lose all those precious digis! Anyway I finally shared one of my last DT work for my little junk journal.  There's only one more share and I thought that with this share I could also release the video of the flip through of this special album.  It was great fun to make. And won't be the last. The only thing that I think I will do different is choose a different cover and do more signatures instead of such a big one because this one ended

Journaling by 5s part 5 - the end

I shouldn't say it's the end.... because that journal is far from finished lol.  For the part 5 I only touched 12 out of 20 pages..... I so suck at doodling on a time limit. Anyway it got me some good base to work with.  Here's my video. And I will be sharing my DT work in the upcoming month.  And do a final flip through of this once I really do have it complete and I'm happy with it.... yeah.... that could be awhile. Ta ta for now! Hugs

This time I have something to share with you that will not be entered in a challenge... it was made just for me for the fun of it. I told you guys that I had taken a class with dylusion paint and sprays with the great Gisel Cabral over at Scrapbook Central.  That class really help put some color in a very bleery day for me.... and so I did the 2 pages for the class... but then I played while others were working shhhhhh.... with the left over paint that I had and I came up with this page with the great silhouette. I had no clue what to do with that page.... until I came across that little frog in a magazine that I was reading.  And there is the finished page.  Just for the fun of it. I figured I would share some doodling just for the fun of it.... :) Hugs

SOOOOOOO PROUD of me!

Ok so this is probably the only post of this kind because it's really rare that I'm super happy with my work but this time I'm totally over the moon with the results of my last day of crafting!!!! I redid my journal cover so from the before to the after picture!!!!  I'm beyond happy!  I can't believe how well it turned out with just paper, cardboard and some toilet paper molded pieces (all the bolts, nuts and screws). Isn't that a HUGE difference?!?  I can't believe that I made it!!! Here's the video tutorial that I followed in case you want to try this out... yeah... I'm not that clever to think of this myself lol And here's a closer look at that cover all by itself.  I used a bunch of dies from Cheery Lynn dies I have quite a collection of the gears and steampunk stuff.  I did some texture using my crafter's companion stencils.  The paint that I use is decoart (2 super old bottles from my MIL's stash that I put water in to

Goodevening everyone!  It's the last day of my Holiday vacation :'( so sad... don't really want to go back to the routine.  It was nice getting up late and crafting and just chilling as a family.  My soar throat is not getting better... actually it's getting worst... just in time for going back to work... Anyway, I'm here to share with you a little journal cover that I made today.  I have found through a FB friend a Journal group and this group is called Journal 52  offering free journal workshop every week for the upcoming year.  I've been really interested in doing journaling.  If you follow my blog you have seen my POP posts with my little hand made journal.  But I know there are so many more techniques and things I could try.  Wow this group is totally awesome.  And some have made some brilliant covers for their journal.  So I was really inspired to make mine. Well this was quite an adventure because the cardboard that I had thought of using was way too
