Faery Ink - Gabbie Lots of love

Hello!!!  It's Friday YAY that means more time soon to try and finish everything for the holidays as well as having my inlaws over on Saturday for the family party....  YIKES actually now I'm stressed lol.

Anyway that's not why I'm here, I'm sharing today the new image from Faery ink called Gabbie lots of love.  This new image was just PERFECT for my bestee's b-day card.  And I'm very pleased to say that she LOOOOVED it!

Hello!  When I learned that there was going to be a blog hop for Corinne I just had to participate!  She's such a great lady even if she doesn't like Charlie Brown....  hee hee hee so just had to do a special b-day wish for her... now she just might unfriend me... hope not!

But I did make another card that I know you will like a lot more!!!  And here it is just for you!!!  It might take awhile to reach destination with the holidays and stuff and it coming from Canada... but I really hope that you like it!  It was made with lots of love for you in mind.

The paper that I used for this is from Authentique - Wishes.  I used some Queen and Co goosebumps - gotten as a gift from Erin (thank you sweetie).  I used my Nesting Frame 3 from Quickutz.

Special B-day card!!!

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great crafting day!!!!  I'm here to share with you a special card that I made for a special boy!!!  I saw this on FB:
I am Colin's mom, I created this page for my amazing, wonderful, challenging son who is about to turn 11 on March 9th. Because of Colin's disabilities, social skills are not easy for him, and he often acts out in school, and the other kids don't like him. So when I asked him if he wanted a party for his birthday, he said there wasn't a point because he has no friends. He eats lunch alone in the office everyday because no one will let him sit with them, and rather than force someone to be unhappy with his presence, he sits alone in the office. So I thought, if I could create a page where people could send him positive thoughts and encouraging words, that would be better than any birthday party. Please join me in making my very original son feel special on his day.

It totally got to me because I have 4 kids and I know that it's hard for kids at school. They have people make fun of them or make hurtful comments because they are different.   My kids have come home crying many times because their schoolmates were mean to them.... so I can only imagine what this poor mom felt like when her son mentioned that he didn't want to have a b-day celebration... my heart totally broke for her!!!  I ended up having tears... and I figured I could do something to help out!  The 1st thing is I made a card to send to him and the second is that I'm sharing it here to encourage you to collaborate as well!!!  I know the crafting community is such a giving one!!!  So I know we can make a difference.  I will also be sharing this on my FB.

Hello everyone!!!  It's time for a new challenge over at Wags n whiskers And this time our challenge for you is about Paper piecing!

For my card I used the awesome Sammie's Surprise that you can find here.  I think he's just fabulous for a masculine b-day card!!!  And I have some coming up.  So this was a great opportunity to do one.

Hello Girl

Goodevening everyone!  Yup it's really late for me... but I need to take a pill before I go to the doctor tomorrow... so forcing myself to stay up.  Usually when I have posts that late it's because it's preprogrammed lol.  I used to love staying up late... but can't do that when you need to get up early (well at least this lady can't!!!  otherwise I fall asleep at my desk).

So since I'm trying to stay up I figured I might as well share with you a little card that I did earlier this week.  I had printed a very cute freebie image from Chi Chi Memories it's called Hello Girl.  And I realized that I was going to be late in entering... so I hurried my little but and here's the card for you!  I need some b-day cards because there's a few people at work with b-day's coming up.  So this was the perfect opportunity to do one!

Flying high

No I'm not taking drugs lol I realize that with a title like that it might make you think that I am...  I came home late again... worked 'til 7pm again... and got in early and ate at my desk... yup pretty crazy time!  Anyway, I figured I needed some craft time just for the fun of it... no expectations, just fun.

So I turned to some new stamps that I had purchased on sale over at Joanna Sheen.  Just loooove that store, free shipping after purchase of £9 including over seas!!!  How fabulous.  And good prices and products.  And super fast delivery.  So yup... I go shopping there... too much actually.  Anyway that's not the point... the point is I got around to using the great little House Mouse stamp set Feathered Friends - Flying high.  I thought it was just perfect to play in the new challenge over at House Mouse and friends which is transportation... and also at the Joanna Sheen challenge which is Pink.

So here's my card with this in mind.
