For my last post I wanted to make something that I could send out to a friend.  That is one of the new resolution that I have to send out more mail to friends.  So I'm trying to make smaller items that will be appreciated :)  I used the fabulous  Love birds floral set  because all the fab elements are precolored so it makes it very easy to use.  I actually prepared the entire tag on my computer and then printed it out!!!  Easy peasy. I actually used 2 different hearts from the set and put them in different size.  I also used the little birds and put them on the little branch that is also in the set.  Once it was printed I distressed the edge of the tag and put a little bit of twine.  The sentiment is from  Cr

For this one I used my sharpie to make the little border. The sentiment is from  Create with TLC  and was edged with some Vintage photo distress ink. I colored this little guy with my copics and did him a bit like my tabby cat :)  So some white spots

SLS Lines new release - August 2015 release

Image
Hi everyone!  It's time for my August release over at  SLS lines digis .  And this one was a perfect one in the journal that I did for Journaling by 5s. I just have to say how I loved that process and how freeing it was.  You can check out this via my youtube channel  Crafting Vicky Here's the finished page that I did once I did the free time play with it using the great  Fantasy Shaman Once I did all the process this was one of the pages that I was not able to get to for the doodling.... but I really want this journal to stay intact... so I'm using the left hand side to comment what I have done to the page on the right since the initial 5 steps.  The stamps used on these pages are from Unity stamps. I'm really liking how mysterious this page turned out.  The image was colored with my copics.  I did add some gold accent with the sharpie pen.  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC I added some of the gold back because it was gone from the initial stenciling

Nude Pin up - WARNING nude....

Image
Hello everyone! Yup I'm sharing a nude!  But if you read my post you will understand why I journaled this!  It's a message for me and for all my friends that don't like their bodies! I don't know if you have seen my post in the SLS FB group but I have been doing the journaling by 5s.  And I used a great pin up from SLS lines for one of the pages  Pin up Nude . The layout was done while doing the steps and I finally finished the page this morning.  I really hope that you like this page. My sentiment behind it is that we don't accept our bodies and ourselves and we really should no matter what shape we are! From the journaling by 5 to this layout I have completed the left hand side with my thinking while doing this page.  I added some doodling as this was one of the page that I had not completed in the 15 minutes allowed.  I added some washi tape and lace tape.  The washi tape is a measuring one because we are always measuring ourselves.... and we shouldn'

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new release over at  SLS Lines  .  Got to love those fab images! The left hand page is done with some gelli printing over a leaflet from the real estate agent.  I used some left over papers that I inked with my black memento ink.  I used my pearl effect die from Spellbinder.  The background to the fairy was done with my gelatos. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics. I'm not entering this in any challenges because I'm on vacation :)  So that's my little vacation but I still wanted to share with you the great image. Have a great Wednesday. Hugs

Pretty Sunshine - SLS Lines

Image
Hello everyone! I'm getting ready for my vacation and that means a vacation Smash album to record the camping memories.  So what is better to decorate the pages than some fabulous digis?!?  For this page I'm trying to get Mother Nature on our side and get some fabulous sunshine using the great digi  Pretty Sunshine  from SLS Lines as my inspiration post for this month. Last year I did the pages of my album while camping and that's fun as well but I don't have as many supplies to color and to just add details as I do from home! And that's what happened here as I would not have had the lettering to do this at the camping site! I don't know for you but my kids come back after they are finished school with lots of books that are halfway done.... so I decided this year to keep some of the pages and that's what I used here to be able to journal on pages that would otherwise not be used since there's pictures on them. The digi was colored using my pan p

Voodoo King and Voodoo Queen from SLS Lines

Image
I really love the new release images from  SLS Lines  you can get them Voodoo King  and Voodoo Queen  and I just thought they would be perfect for making some little door hangers. I found those door hangers that you can use chalk on at the dollar store.  And just thought I would make something with them for sure!  At the time I wasn't sure. And when I saw this great couple of images I just knew this would be perfect for my son and his girlfriend! I left the chalk on them but changed the boring elastic for some hair band that I thought would be more fun. The letters that I used are from Anna Griffin and from October Afternoon.  I colored the 2 images with my copics and then fussy cut them out. They came out pretty cool and they were well liked by the recipients so that's all that matters really isn't it?!? I'm entering those in the following challenges: Left of center challenges  - Well I did add the fiber... but I still think this is pretty LOC :) Eclec

Monster digi stamp set - SLS lines

Image
Hello everyone, it's my turn to post inspiration over at SLS lines digi stamps ! I was making a little pocket letter and I thought that I would use some of the very fun little monsters from the set  Monster digi set  and that they would totally brighten up the little ATCs that I made for it. The background for those ATC were made with some oil pastel, stencils and baby oil.  I colored them up with my copics and then fussy cut them out. Aren't they just so funny?!?  You could make so many fun makes with those. The sentiments that I used are all from  Create with TLC . I'm entering those little ATCs in the following challenges: Chalk n stock  - use some chalks - I used some oil pastels for the backgrounds Creative knockouts  - Humorous card - I figured ATC cards would be ok....
