Fast little post with Doodle Pantry

Hello!  It's already Friday.... picture sad face here.... it means our vacation is coming to an end....

But it's been great and it was fun being with the family without the stress of the regular life and housework and all....

Anyway I'm here to share with you some ATCs that I made with some Doodle Pantry image as well as another before the progressive challenge is over.... wow July sure passed quickly!!!

The 1st is a series of 3 ATCs were I used the following sets from Doodle Pantry
Chubby Chickadee
Monkey Barrel
Quirky Frog

I used all precolored images but the background of the ATC are all handmade using either oil pastels or alcool ink.

For the other ATC I used the great image for the progressive challenge over at Deedee progressive challenge.  I used the precolored image and just fussy cut him.  I added some Jillibean soup stickers.

That's it for me!  Have a great Friday.

Quick little shares for progressive challenges

Hello everyone!  I'm camping and we have had an amazing time here.  This week as been especially awesome weather!!!!  I don't want it to end..... I know that I'm still vulnerable... I get tired easy but with camping the beat is so much slower that it doesn't show as much!

I wanted to share with you 2 makes before the progressive challenges come to an end and I will be late.... I did both... but yeah having trouble blogging.... just seem to be doing nothing but sitting in the sun and watching my kids play!  It's been awhile since I have done just that without feeling guilty!

My 1st make for you is for the Outlawz progressive challenge and it's an image from Blueberry bear.  I thought it would be totally perfect for my junk journal that I made for a friend of mine.

I just think this image is soooo cute!  And I used my copics to color it up.  I used some of my cards from project life and some sentiment from simple stories.  I also added some text book on the background of this page.  The rest was done on some junk mail that was colored using my gelli plates and acrylics paints!

My 2nd make was used in my camping journal and was just perfect for today since we did spend a whole lot of time in the pool.  From the heart stamps just had the cutest little image this month!!!
I used some stickers that I had in my stash forever and a great sentiment from Create with TLC.

Hope you have a great day and a great week!

Parfait Pam - Art by Mi Ran

I am on vacation but that won't stop me from posting my Mi Ran post and I have a great one for you.

I'm still working on the showcase challenge with the cool colors but this time I decided to use something that would work in my vacation book and this is the great Parfait Pam.
Digital Stamp - Parfait Pam, Digi Stamp, Coloring page, Printable Line art for Card and Craft Supply
Here's my make with this super cute image colored with my copics.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC

I think she was just the perfect embellishment for my book!

Since I'm on vacation I'm not entering challenges but I sure hope you like my inspiration!!!

My Whimsical little world - Beach time

Hello everyone!  I'm still camping and enjoying every minutes of it.  Erin came for a visit this weekend and it was fun to craft with someone!

But I'm here to share my makes for My whimsical little world and right now we are using goodies that have been release previously but were just PERFECT for my camping book!  Don't forget to check out the blog for the freebies and the FB group for the progressive challenge.

For my makes this week I'm sharing 2 one using Marigold
she was used on one of the 1st pages of my camping journal.  I colored her up with my copics.

And the 2nd one that I used is Pheobe.  She was also colored with copics but I did the background with my chalks.  The sentiment is from the set as well.
Since I'm on vacation I'm not entering challenges.  But I still love to read your comments.

Doodle pantry - Everyday Jargon

Hello!  here it's windy at the campground but at least it seems sunny.... we've been getting rain on an off throughout the week.... that sucks but there's enough wind to dry everything fast and we do have some sunny time to enjoy doing activities!

Enough about me I'm here to share with you another little page from my junk journal.  This one was part of a lunch bag that was the center of the album.

I used this cute set Everyday Jargon
Everyday Jargon
I think it was pretty awesome for this little page:
I used some distress ink in twisted lemon around the image (it had a little sentiment included on it) and I added another sentiment from Create with TLC.  The background was done with some oil pastel and smooched with my fingers.  And I added some Kaiser Craft rubbons.  I usually hate hate hate rubbons but those worked very well!

On the right hand side the sentiment and tag come from Simple stories paper as well as from project life kit.  The background on that page is done with my gelli printing.... and it's on a paint sample booklet.

That's it for this post.  Hope you like my inspiration for you!!!!

SLS Lines - New release

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new release over at SLS Lines .  Got to love those fab images!

For my make I used the fabulous Quiet sitting fairy.  I used her in my total junk journal that I made for a friend.  I thought she would be the perfect image for the message that I wanted to send her.

I used a Unity stamp with her.
The left hand page is done with some gelli printing over a leaflet from the real estate agent.  I used some left over papers that I inked with my black memento ink.  I used my pearl effect die from Spellbinder.  The background to the fairy was done with my gelatos.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.
I'm not entering this in any challenges because I'm on vacation :)  So that's my little vacation but I still wanted to share with you the great image.

Have a great Wednesday.

Precious Pinx - RSD

Hello!  I'm totally enjoying my camping right now!!!! But before I left I did make a little card that I knew I would be able to share with you Sparkle and glitter!

I actually made a card this time.... it had been FOREVER since I had made one lol  I used the super cute  Precious Pinx.  I left this card really CAS because I really wanted the attention to be on the cutie.  She's going to be sent to my MIL who loves loves loves loves rabbits.

The image was colored with my copics.  I used some papers from Studio Calico.  The sentiment was cut using my Label 9.  I used a sentiment from Create with TLC

Hope you like my little card! Not entering in challenges.... enjoying my vacation :)

Hello everyone! I'm on vacation right now all relaxed :)  So I have plenty of time to share stuff with you guys!  I'm doing the post for Airless chambers

I'm sharing a not that dark make this time around.... but I still think dark enough for this blog.  I'm using 2 super digis for this  Signs 1  and the adorable little EEK   and with those 2 I made a little scene that I thought would be fun.  I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

The background was made using a stamp of mountains that I used a few times and another stamp of a tree with lots of branches in Walnut distress ink.  Then the coloring of the background was completed using some pan pastels. I used prima chalk ink on the clouds.

The little EEK was colored with copics and fussy cut.  I did the parachute lines after with a fine pen.  You just have to LOVE his face!!!!

And here's the closer look at the sign that I did for the opposite journal page.

I'm really loving how this journaling turned out.

Hope you liked my inspiration.

As I'm on vacation.... taking a break from entering challenges.... but still hope that I will get comments :)

It's Christmas over at My Whimsical little world today!

Funny but all the designers decided to play with some Christmas digis even if it's only July!  So over at My Whimsical little world you will be seeing lots of Christmas inspiration.

There's also a freebie if you want and don't forget that we still have our progressive challenge going on over at the fb group here.

So here's my 2 cards for you today!  yup I love getting ahead of the game so I made 2 great Christmas cards this time around.

The 1st one is using the super cute Cozy Winter wishes
I'm pretty happy with myself because the back paper is from an old file folder that I cut down to reuse!!!  I used some cork hearts from my stash.  I also played with my Nellie's ovals.  The great sentiment is from Create with TLC.  The DP is from Lawn Fawn - petite paper pack.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.

The next card that I'm sharing with you is using the awesome digi Tansy
I used some of my very favorite papers for this which is from Bobunny - Snow day.  I used my label 14, my scallop and large circle for this.  The bling is from the dollar store.

Here's a closer look at digi colored with my copics.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I'm entering these in the following challenges if I can have internet at the campsite :):

  1. 12 months of christmas linkup - Anything goes Christmas  didn't do the twist
  2. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge  - Extra challenge

TLC Fantastic blog hop

Hello everyone!  This should be your 1st stop for the great TLC blog hop :)  woop woop it's been awhile since there's been one and of course Paulette was super generous with all of us again!!!!

There's also something special with this hop because you can get the round images in a set for a special prize just during the time of the hop!!!! right now it's only 1.5$$$$  what a steal!

Ok so now for my freebie it's this fabulous image that I'm sure you will love and you can see what I did with this cute little banner because of course I just had to do some journaling :)  (just right click on the image and save on your computer)

And here's my journaling with one great image from the set on special as well as the great freebie.

I really love little banners like this one because on top of a cute little doily it makes for a perfect tuck spot!  I used a playing card to put a little message on the back. I added some more Create with TLC image and I used a page from a book that I ripped (the book is Jim Henson's Doodle Dreams book), I had purchased that book just for those pages on special at our equivalent of TJ max.  I did a bunch of journaling with my ink pen.  The back ground is actually some book pages that I had used in this journal because it's an older book's cover that I'm using and I used my bind it all at the time to make this journal.  So there's some watercolor paper in it as well as some pages that I reused for the interest.  And I've been using those pages to wipe my brushes :)

Here's a look when the card is out of it's tuck spot.
And here it is so you can see the sentiment that I used behind it.
and a closer look at the round image it's part of the set on special.

And finally a closer look at what I did with the great banner.
I really love using those banners this way in my journaling!

So here's the list of the hop:

VICKY ..... - you are here

RHONDA SUE ....... your next stop!!!  :)  Enjoy

LISA LYNN ..........

HETTY ............

DESIRE ...........

Have a great Sunday and thank you Paulette for another great hop!!!!

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you 3 different makes that I did for Doodle Pantry but this time around I decided to use those for a pocket letter!  So I used totally different sets.

I used for this all precolored images It really makes it much easier.

Here are the sets that I used:

Cute Critters
Charlie Moo Milk
Raccoon Hellos

I added some little embellishments to all.  I used my Nellie's ovals, my Label 9 and small circle as well as my distress rectangles samll and large.  The backgrounds were done using some stamping up inks Ballet blue, handsome hunter, ruby red, summer sun and the impression obsession stamp dotted argyle.

I'm entering these little ATCs in the following challenges:

I'm so fancy - Karleigh Sue

Ohhhhhh it's hot hot hot over at the new sexy challenge.  And what better way to share with you how hot it is but with this fabulous image I'm so fancy

I made again a journal page but this time around my background was made using a napkin which is something new to me.

The digi was colored with my copics and I found a sentiment that I thought would be perfect for this.  It's if you can't be a poet be the poem.  I think that she totally would be the poem to many!!!!

I'm entering this little journal page in the following challenges:

  1. Sugar and betty - Anything goes
  2. Ikes world challenge - Anything but square
  3. Cardz 4 guyz - No designer paper - I used a napkin that I tore and decoupage on... so it's not a designer paper :)

Karleigh Sue Sexy Challenge - It's hot out here baby

Hello!  This is my last post of the day I promise!  But this time it's an hot one!  Well it has to be because it's for the fab Sexy challenge of Karleigh Sue and the challenge is It's hot out here baby.  For my make I decided to use the fabulous image Beauty

I did a mixed media class about dylusion paints and sprays.  And while in that class I used my left over paints to create extra pages in my book ahead of time.  I had this one with the keyhole that was waiting for something in it.... All the inks were spread with baby wipes to clean out the stencils!!!!  Love love love that way to use the paint to the max.

And when I saw this image I just thought it would be fun!  Can't get much sexier than this.

Scribbles Challenge - Birthdays

Hey I'm late late late..... I had to get to bed last night.... I was way too tired and didn't have a chance to post this up.... and then I figured that I would be up early this morning.... but guess what it wasn't the case lol

Anyway I'm here to share with you the latest challenge over at Scribbles Designs Challenge and it's about b-days how easy right?!?

For my make I decided to make a little ATC that was part of a pocket letter for a birthday!

I used the great Flower-pot-2.

The background for this ATC is from a gelli print that I made. I did some doodling (I'm getting more confident in this) and added a little stamped sentiment for the follow your dream.  The image was colored with my copics.

I'm entering this little ATC in the following challenges:

  1. Wags n whiskers rubberstamps - Birthdays
  2. Craftin desert divas - Birthdays
That's it for this post!  I will be back later with one more :)

Oddball new release images July

I'm back!  And this time it's with lots of great journaling that really helped me get stuff off my chest.... I'm not feeling all that good and trying to put a brave front and do everything but it's being hard.

And I'm pushing myself to hard and failing miserably.  So when I saw all the great new images from Oddball I just knew that it would make for some great therapy journaling!  And this time around I'm not sharing all I wrote.... some is not good for blogging....

You will be able to find all the fab digis here

This 1st one is image 239 and was used in a junk album that I'm making with just recycled material.  The great sentiments are from Create with TLC as well as with the set.  I will be doing a video about this album and sharing in more details then.  The background here is done with my gelli plate and some acrylic paints and stencils.  The tag is from a pair of short jeans from my daughter :)
The next one is image 241b and I made it with my daughter in mind because it's called gemini :) so I thought it was fitting to write a bit in my journal about her.  The background was done using my neocolors.

and a closer look at the digi colored with my copics
This last one was made this weekend.... I really wasn't feeling all that well and thought this was so very fitting.  It's image 242.  I colored her up as a zombie because that's a bit how I'm feeling.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC and I thought it was sooooo fitting with how I felt.

I used some papers that I had colored using my gelli plate as the backgrounds.  I made a pocket and used a piece from the wedding album that I had messed up last week to write my journaling on the back.  That's what you see sticking out from the right side of the pocket.  I also used a bunch of different washi tapes.
Here's a closer look at the sentiment that was edged with the new twisted citron distress ink.
and here's the image colored with my copics and pretty much how I'm feeling right now....
But hey I will mend right?!? That's what we need to do....

Hope you have a great day I'm going to be back later with more.
