Absinthe Fae - Faery Ink

Absinthe Fae is such a great image it was perfect for an album cover!

I really really love now doing other stuff than cards :)  I've become totally hooked!  And this month I recycled a journal that I had for a very long time to give it to my oldest son's girlfriend.  She really loves anything dark and fantasy So I figured this would be totally perfect.
Here it is colored with my copics.  I also used stickles on the wings.  The cover of the book was done with some recycled papers from a purchase at amazon and I used the Verday Paints on it.  It gives a rusty finish due to some metal particles in the paint.  I made this bronze have some verdigris.

I have aged the image as well because I really wanted this to look like an older book.

And here's a look at the book when it's open.  I used an hairband to do the closure.  And I added some little pouches and stickers that she can use to annotate it.
