Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a good Monday!  My Monday was crazy busy... but so will the rest of the week!  I still managed to put in a bit of craft time :D I really wanted to play with the fabulous digi that I won last time I played at Meljen's challenge.  So I made a little card with him.  He's totally adorable and was a total joy to play with! I started out with a wonderful sketch that I will post down my blog from sweet sketch... I chose my paper and layered it... but I really wasn't happy with the look... so then I took out my Tim Holtz distresser and really had fun!  I really love how it turned out it seems that's what this card was calling for. The paper is from Toga - Le p'tit bloc.  I used my classic squares, scallop circle and classic circle dies all from Spellbinder!  Those are really my go to dies I realize...  I seem to form some habits... going to have to break them or else my other dies will be lonely... ...

Here's the inside of the card.  I added some felt snowflakes. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  I added some liquid applique for the snow with some glitter ritz. Here's a closer look at the charm with the ribbon. I added a wonderful sentiment from  Create with TLC  distress with some evergreen distress ink. I really ho...

Dutch Dare Challenge - Challenge #184

Image
This week at Dutch dare card challenges  our wonderful sponsor for the week is   For this challenge you have to make a CAS card! For this challenge I got to work with the fabulous image Caroling Snowmen from The Stamping Boutique!  What  wonderful Christmas image. I used the paper from Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday.  I also used some shiny paper from The immortal Love.  I used scalloped and standard circle dies from Spellbinder. I didn't know how dangerous card making was until I made this card.... I wanted to use my MS snowflake punch to cut out some snowflakes out of some felt... well... I broke the punch and ended up punching my finger!  Big time hole in my middle finger!  Blood everywhere and no more punch...   Luckily for me I had a spellbinder snowflake border.  I used the snowflakes from that to finish off the card when I had finally gotten the blood mess under control... yikes... dangerous activity crafti...
