DDC#21 -Anything with wheels

Image
Today at Digi darlas  our challenge is about "anything with wheels".  When I read that initially I thought right away about anything car related or automotive.... But I'm not much on doing man cards lol... So I just had to think a bit and realized that a wheel barrel also worked!  YAY and there was the cutest little digi called Flower Bugi that was perfect for this. To create this card I used paper from Daydream by first edition 6x6.  Love the shiny flowers on the paper!  I cut out the digi and the paper underneath with spellbinder label 14 die.  I paired this sweet digi with a sentiment from In my garden Jolinne by My favorite things (I've used that pack of sentiments a lot actually!  So happy when that happens!).  The ribbon is from the dollar store but it's really rich looking and the feel of it is wonderful.  The digi is colored up with my copics. Hope you come and play with us!  Just for playing you coul...

OSAAT challenge #122

Image
I'm soooo excited!  I was only supposed to start doing cards in the middle of August but I just couldn't wait lol.  So here I am at  One stitch at a time challenge .    The sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear!!!!  Those who know me know how much I looooove their digis ;)  I have purchased a bunch lol Our challenge this week is Anything goes!  How easy is that for everyone?!? So I got to play with a wonderful digi from April at Rheeces Scrap Pieces called Greenthumb bear. Yes I know... another easel card lol what can I say... I was never making them before and now I need to catch up! ;)  So to make this card I used Bobunny paper - Alora collection in 6x6.  I used quite a few spellbinders (yes I'm addicted to those as well) Standard circle, Scalloped circle and for the sentiment Label 20.  The sentiment comes from My Favorite things - In my garden Jolinne (really love those sentiments for all the wonderful digis such as this one ...

WOW  today was a good day.  I have won at a re-draw at  Dutch Dare Card Challenge 3 great digis!!!  So exciting!!!!  Can't wait to use them.  I received my beautiful Tilda from Shelby!  Thank you sooo much and she added a great ribbon ;))))  Soooo happy.  Then I tried my hand to something quite more difficult... yesterday I tried a folding card.  It was long and time consuming but I liked the result. So to enter the challenge again... I made a pot, and the flowers as well as the greenery... it's not quite as trailing but does go over the leg of the little girl ;) To make this card I used paper from k&cie,  CC Design Butterfly dies in 2 sizes, Cuttlebug flower maker die, some little pearls embellishments and My favorite Things - In my garden Jolinne Stamp.  Here's the card sideways: I'm pretty sure that it would not withstand the test of Canada Post... it will have to be one of those hand delivered cards ;) This is...

Happy Bot Day

Ok so I lied... I had time to make another one while my kids and hubby were busy watching cartoons.... they really didn't miss me and I've listen to it sooo many times that one less is not a big deal. I used an usual item for this card and I'm pretty sure that I might use it again... I went in my hubby's garage while he was busy watching tv and got some nuts... I'm not sure that he will be happy lol but I really love the result. I'm entering it in the following challenges: Moxie fab world  - Use an household item - this is the nuts ;) Scrapbooksisters  - Birthday for dad/men Send a smile 4 kids challenge  - Father's day card from a kid Ok so this time it's true.  I'm not doing anymore for the night. I'll be back tomorrow. Vicky xo
