Homemade spring flower

WOW today was a good day.  I have won at a re-draw at Dutch Dare Card Challenge 3 great digis!!!  So exciting!!!!  Can't wait to use them.  I received my beautiful Tilda from Shelby!  Thank you sooo much and she added a great ribbon ;))))  Soooo happy.  Then I tried my hand to something quite more difficult... yesterday I tried a folding card.  It was long and time consuming but I liked the result. So to enter the challenge again... I made a pot, and the flowers as well as the greenery... it's not quite as trailing but does go over the leg of the little girl ;)
To make this card I used paper from k&cie,  CC Design Butterfly dies in 2 sizes, Cuttlebug flower maker die, some little pearls embellishments and My favorite Things - In my garden Jolinne Stamp.  Here's the card sideways:
I'm pretty sure that it would not withstand the test of Canada Post... it will have to be one of those hand delivered cards ;)
This is another 1st because I had never done one of those wrapped around flowers.  I'm pretty happy with the result.  I used this beautiful sketch:

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
  1. At joans gardens - for hand made pot, flowers, trailing greenery (it's not much but it's still there and all hand cut ;) no dies for that one...)
  2. Skipping stones design - The amazing sketch
  3. Cute card thursday - Spring flowers (well there's one but it's big!)
  4. Crafty sentiments - spring creation using pastel colors
  5. One stop craft challenge - Pastel + die cuts (the flower and the butterflies)
So that's it for my day.  I'm glad that I pushed my boundaries yet again ;)))  I'm pretty happy with the results.  After I finish a card I always think of things that I could have done to improve it... but I guess that's how we get better!  Thanks for all the encouraging comments.  It really gives me the extra boost  to continue creating!!!!  I feel like I'm part of a huge community ;)
