B-Day card for little boy

One of my sons will be turning 11 next week.  I've been meaning to create a card for him but the inspiration was lacking... until I saw some color combination in one of the challenges.  

Looking at my card on the computer... I realize that it doesn't  really show that the background is the dark wool gray of the picture below...
Here's the great color combination:



The suggested colors are....

Avocado...Blue Mist...Grey Wool

It was really fun to make this card.  I hope that my son likes it ;)  I used the Martian Spaceship digi image from Bugaboo.  It was a freebie!  Such fun to use.

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful! WOW I'm speechless (well almost) lol!  Can't believe I have reached 300 followers.  I seem to be thanking you all the time but I think you really deserve HUGE thank you!!!!
