Wow another wonderful day in Montreal.  And my hubby is back from his mom!!!  So happy to have him back.   This morning I gave in to my youngest son William... He had planted some seeds at school for tomatoes and other vegetables... unfortunately nothing much happened with them.  He was quite disappointed.  So I went with him and bought a bunch of plants.  I had promised myself not to do so this year because when we come back from camping, the plants all look sad... after 2 weeks without care.  But he soooo wanted to have some flowers and I must admit to liking them as well so I ended up buying loooots lol Now I have to transplant them all but it's way toooo hot right now outside to do so.  So it was the perfect time to make a little card.  Usually I would have taken some sun but the pools not started yet... and without it, it's not as much fun.  Plus it's way cooler in my scrapbooking room. Today I'm treating myself!!!  I did all the cleaning with the kids yesterday.  And I figured that today I could craft and keep my mind occupied. I saw that  Tickled pink stamps  was sponsoring a few challenges.  I had a great digi that I had been wanting to use and I had not yet done anything with it.  This was the perfect opportunity!!!!   Crafting when we can challenges  had a wonderful sketch and  Card makin mamas  had the wonderful color inspiration a gorgeous cake!!!!  That was perfect for spring.  Here's the card: I had so much fun creating this card!!!!  I got to use some tools that I had not used so far.  The paper is from Paper Reflection and the border was made using My mind's eye paper.  I used a bunch of nestabilities to create the greenery, the flower, the scallop circle, the circle around my digi and the one around the sentiment.  The sentiment is from Hero Art.  I used pee...

I think I made the card that I like the most so far.  I had won some time back the new digi Lil Lolita images from Tickled Pink.  They are sooo cute.  And I was waiting for the right card to use them.  I found a challenge that was asking for just this.  I'm really really really happy with the result if I may say so myself. When the cute little digi's came on I had seen on one of the DT's work that they had used playing cards.  I thought that was an amazing idea.  With 4 kids there's always some cards that end up missing in sets... and I toss them away.  What a great way to re-use them!   And to top it off, I had discovered last week while going to a Zellers (which is being turned into Target soon) a pack of charms for 1$.  One of them was a little playing card.  I told myself that I would not be using that for awhile... couldn't figure out what to use it for.  Well this was the PERFECT opportunity!!!!  I used this s...
