Delicious Doodles Challenge - Pearls and Lace

Image
Hello!  I don't know about you but there is one type of card that I really really HATE to make but that are required in life and that is a sympathy card.  My stash was totally empty.   So when I saw the challenge this month for Delicious Doodles was to use Pearls and Lace I thought YAY that is going to be perfect for making an elegant sympathy card.  Especially since there are so many wonderful images from Delicious Doodles that would fit the bill for this.  This time around I used the image    Lily of the Valley Border The paper that I used is from Bobunny.  I added some lace trim as well as some pearl trim.  I thought it really finished this card off!  The image was colored with my copics but prior to printing it I had put a sentiment that I stretched from TLC. I still have more creations to come so I really hope that you will come again :) Hugs

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you my very 1st make of the year for the Delicious Doodles Challenge. I made another little Christmas card.  YUP I'm on fire trying to get ahead of the game because as far as it went in 2015 I had barely enough for my family and friends.  I ran out for other people that I would have liked to send cards too! And right now the mailing is pretty expensive so I wanted to keep this card fairly flat.  I used a great image called    Frozen Fountain .  The sentiment is from  Create with TLC . I colored this image lightly with my copics.  I added some prima bling left over from another project and the last on the page of stickers. The sentiment was from  Create with TLC  and it was cut with my large circle and my scallop circle for the background.  The same as the background for the digi and leftover papers from another project. I'm entering this little card in the following challenges: 12 months of christmas  - Anything goe

The ribbon is from a find at a thrift store.  The paper is from a DCWV mega pack.  And I just stamped the sentiment. I'm not entering challenge while on camping except for this one  12 months of Christmas  because I really want to have my goodies and need 2 makes which I don't  know if I will have this time around.... I found at the thrift store the strangest puzzle.... and I'm using one of the pieces here to journal and the spell card is also from the thrift store it was part of a little bag.  Love love love that stuff and thought it would be just PERFECT for journaling all sorts of magical things.
