Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you a little make that I did for my bestie's b-day!!!!    I thought it would be perfect for her to make a little canvas using a great little image from Sassy Cheryl's.  I thought it was also a great opportunity to participate in the DT call that is going on over at Sassy Cheryl's . And I made a little video to share with you my process of this with you. Here's my little make for my bestie!!!! I used some dylusions paints.  I used a unity stamp to make this little make as well.  I hope you like the process of this.  It was so much fun to make. Well it's November already... can't believe it.  But it is what it is and with that comes the new theme for the month of November over at Art by Mi Ran  which is warm colors.  This was just perfect for my mixed media because I just adore warm colors.  And I also looooooove anything that has to do with fantasy so guess what I chose as an image to work with?!? :)  A Fairy the gorgeous  Flutterby . Hello everyone!  OH my world.... the weekend goes by soooooo fast it's crazy.  I hardly did anything.... oh well. The good news is that I played with my paint and created a little mixed media piece using a Sherri Baldy image that I won over at Scrapbook Stamp society.  I was pretty excited about my win!!! OMG where is the month of October going?!?  This is very stressful because I feel that 1st thing I will know I will have been without a job for a long time.... and I want to find one.... just need the right one. Anyway I'm here to remind you of the great challenge that is going on over at the FB group of Oddball .  All you have to do is use one of the images to enter! Here's what I made with the great image 170 .  I did a journaling of course and used a background that I had made in a local craftstore class over at Scrapbook centrale (yup you are supposed to do just a couple but I ended up with loooooots done which is great for right now and it's a lot easier to just play with the digi when you have something on the back already done).

I've been trying to keep myself busy.  I really need to in order to progress and get my energy up!!!  And this past weekend I had taken a brake and gone to visit my dad.  We ended up making some little wood boards that I could use for my mixed media.  Those were cut by me and and sanded with the big power tools of my dad!!!!  ALL by myself!  I was so very proud! Of course I really wanted to try it out.  And I had won a super cute little gnome image from Julia Spiri over at the FB group.  I figured this would be totally awesome to use on one of those little board as mixed media.  I did a video of that process and you can see it here: Here's my little make for you.  If you want to purchase this little wall art you can do so here .

Oh well.... so much for thinking that this challenge would be easier for the part 3 which was Stamps and stencils.... I had prepared so much of my stuff in advance and made sure not to put out too much to stress.... but I ended up being totally STRESSED out.... So much so that I sweated like crazy.  YUP Ilene said to breath yesterday and I think I must have forgotten that a few times!  Especially since it wasn't running smoothly like it should have.... I will let you watch the video so you can tell by yourself lol It might be something that needs to be put on a comedy network.... Have a great Friday night everyone! Hugs

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new release over at  SLS Lines  .  Got to love those fab images! For my make I used the fabulous  Quiet sitting fairy .  I used her in my total junk journal that I made for a friend.  I thought she would be the perfect image for the message that I wanted to send her. I used a Unity stamp with her. The left hand page is done with some gelli printing over a leaflet from the real estate agent.  I used some left over papers that I inked with my black memento ink.  I used my pearl effect die from Spellbinder.  The background to the fairy was done with my gelatos. Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics. I'm not entering this in any challenges because I'm on vacation :)  So that's my little vacation but I still wanted to share with you the great image. Have a great Wednesday. Hugs

Hello!  Today will be a super busy Monday!  So I'm preparing my post on Sunday morning with a coffee because I know that by the end of the day I will be a mess.... yeah the lack of the antidepressant is hard right now.... crying again... didn't miss that... Anyway I'm here for this post to share with you the make that I did for the new The east wind challenge which is lines and dots and the freebie is totally fabulous!  It was awesome to journal with!!! My lines and dots were made with handmade stencils!  I made the dots with a stencils done with a divider page.  The criss cross stencil was done with hot glue as was the Art lettering.

Hello!  This is an unusual post for me... one just for the fun of it.  It seems that all I do is DT work.  Not that I mind I totally love doing it but it was fun to do a little project just because. My dad purchased some children cardboard books for me that are 2 3/4 inch x 2 3/4 inch.  He is my go to person to get stuff for cheap for me from garage sales and stuff.  His request this time was that I make a little album for him.   So I decided to make one about Life (in French since my dad is French speaking only).  I search on the net for some cool quotes for this.
