It's time for the midway post over at Path of positivity challenge and this time around the challenge is Perseverance.  This is a hard post for me because it's my last one on the team.... it was time for me to move on.   The good news is that I will be able to play in this great challenge as a player.

As you know I've been having a hard time recently and I need to keep going... to me that's what perseverance means right now.    And this image was a great representation of what I want my mind to do with the darker thoughts!

For this post I was pretty lucky because I had already a make that was perfect for this using a fab image from Ike's Art called Muse 3.  It's a tag that was done for a swap but that I had never blogged!  That's a good thing because these days I'm not making lots of crafty stuff...

And it was perfect to share with the uniqueness challenge.  I made this thinking that being normal is probably not the best... and that being different can have it's value :)  Right now I'm far from being normal... and unfortunately I really long for it lol oh well.

Cushion Kitty

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you a little ATC made a little while back but never shared here :)  It was part of the swap going on over at the FB group for Ike's Art.  The theme for the swap was ARt from the heart.

I used for this little swap ATC the super cute Cushion kitty since I really really love my cats... I figured it fit the theme.

So with this picture inspiration in mind... it made me feel like going on vacation to an exotic place.  Therefore I decided to use a super fun image from World tour series - Greece.  I would totally love to go and visit Greece... Maybe one day... Anyway in the meantime here's my inspiration for this challenge.

Wing Shoe - Ike Challenge

Wow does the time fly?!?  (please note the play on words with the theme of our challenge :) )  It's already time for a new challenge over at Ikes world challenge blog.  For this challenge our theme is things with wings... get the flying comment?!?  yeah... I know... I shouldn't be a humorist lol I'm only an accountant.

Anyway, for my creation this week I decided to play with another digi from the great set Shoes series of 4.  There's some digis for all the lovely ladies that like shoes!!!  And I thought this one was perfect for wings.

For this midway post I'm using Edelweiss Cluster from Ike's Art it's part of the Switzerland bundle.  OK so you might be wondering why on earth I would choose this for my Generosity post... well I think that the most generous of all is Mother nature/God with all the wonderful flowers, plants, trees and animals!  And of course we as human rarely take the time to acknowledge this!!!  So this is why for this post it's about nature!

Ike's world challenge blog - Anything goes

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at Ike's world challenge blog and this time it's Anything goes!  But don't forget to win you have to use one of Ike's image.  But there's always a great freebie offered so you have no excuse not to use one!

For my card I decided to do something different!  I'm using a stamp image on the cover of the card from Art impression.  Just love those ladies and I thought they were perfect for a birthday card for my friend Cinzia her b-day was back at the end of November so she's had the card and I can now share it with you.  

So back to my story these ladies reminded me of us when we get chatting... on and on so much to say and never enough time lol.  So then I figured that when we are dead we will probably look like Ike's image Skellie Gossip.  I'm glad that Cinzia has a good sense of humor because her son thought I meant that she was getting old!!! lol Well she is she turned 40!!!  But it's still not THAT old lol  I thought he was so cute making that comment

So here's the top of the card

I used a lot of embellishments for me... it was a special card but I didn't  use the big 40 on the card... thought about it as an afterthought... but figured she would appreciate it missing lol and she did ;o)  The paper is from MME - Dwell.  I used my reverse wonky rectangle  and petite label one from spellbinder on this part.  I added some flourishes from Dee's distinctively flourish #2.  The ribbon, charm and flowers were in my stash.

Here's a closer look at the stamp colored with my copics and the sentiment from Create with TLC.

And then I finished up the inside as well something that I rarely do!  But as I said this was a special card and don't you think that this image reminds you of the ladies on the top?!?

I used again my reverse wonky rectangle as well as my grand label 1 all from Spellbinder.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  The sentiment is also from Art impression and it's a stamp that I got in a discount bin!  Just had to get it and I had been waiting to make this card to use it ;o)

Fun hey?!?  And Ike's has a bunch of fabulous image that can be used in all sorts of settings... so go on and check it out.

Ike's world challenge blog - Christmas is coming

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you my 2nd post of the day.  This time my post for you is for Ikes world challenge blog.  And our challenge this time around is about Christmas is coming!

And I'm very sorry.... but I'm again playing with an exclusive image that Ike had done as a freebie... If you really like it... well I would suggest that you bug her so that she puts it in the store!!!  It was in my digis to play... and well it was calling my name and was just perfect for this card!  He's called snowman.

Ike's World challenge blog

Hello everyone!  This is the time for a new challenge over at Ike's world challenge.  And this time I'm on this blog because I'm doing a nice little Christmas card ;o)  So it can be shown on this side of my world.

The challenge that we have for you this time is winter is here.... yup... it's here all right... it was -10degrees celcius yesterday!!!  What a way to wake up on a Monday morning... so anyway I digress lol

For this card I used the great image Rockies from the set Canada Bundle.  I was soooo excited when Ike did this bundle so I'm super happy to be using this image.

Path of Positivity Challenge #8 - Midway point- Thankfulness

Hello!  Told you that I would be back lol.  Actually I'm back on the net while I'm probably driving back home... yup it takes me a whole lot longer now to get back home after work... I'm now 30 minutes further so it takes me about 1h to get to work and 1h back...an extra 1h per day... so 5h more per week!  Can you tell I'm not super pleased?... oh... yeah... right... it's supposed to be about Path of positivity Challenge and thankfulness... oooops... sorry about that ragging!

Ok so I'm thankfull that I actually work... and that all of us are all healthy and that all that I have to complain about is my lack of time and the extra traffic that I get to be in.  That's pretty awesome that this is my biggest issue!  There are so many that have so much more trouble health wise or financial wise!  So yes I'm very grateful for all that my family as been blessed with.  We work hard but we also get to enjoy it.

For this journal I played with the great Fall kat from Ike!  She's one of the awesome sponsors.  I used a quote from Decosse Dynamite called gratitude Unlocks quote and I added a little Autuman leaves fall patiently sticker from Create with TLC.

Ike's world challenge DT post - October 29 2013

Hello I'm here this time with another little bookmark but made Ike's world challenge blog.  My hubby was the only one without an Halloween bookmark so had to take care of that lol

Our challenge this time for you is Kritters!

And for this I used the great Dog ear 2 from the set Daft Dogz.

I decided to do what Ike does and I'm taking insiration from her... mind you it's not as great but it's a start.  So I transformed the sweet dog into a zombie that's got blog running down it's mouth.  I also printed the image twice to be able to pop up the snout.  I also added some glossy accent to the blood bwahahaha makes it look more real!!!

Couldn't have everyone from the team go sweet on you could I?!? ;o)

Ike's World challenge - Oct 1st

I'm here with some pretty amazing news!!!!  I made the very awesome DT over at Ike's World challenge!!!!  woooohooo! So very happy.  Just love Ike's images.  They are so inspiring and fun.  Love the darker ones as well... but those you will see on my other blog lol.

What's especially fun is that for this 1st challenge where there are DT involved we are playing with the great Awareness image.  This is to reflect the Breast cancer awareness month!

That was the 1st image of Ike that I have ever used!  I made a card over a year and 1/2 about ago.... you can see the post here.  I was going through a really really hard time as my MIL was losing her fight and as I was suffering... I came across Ike's post!  It was as though she was speaking directly to me.  I just had to create a card for my MIL with it and I'm happy to say she got it in time!

So yes this image really brings back memories... My MIL had colon cancer and lost her battle last summer.  But my family as been touched with a few cancers... My FIL is in remission from cancer (something related to his lungs... but not lung cancer), my dad from prostate cancer (he was operated a few years ago and last year had to undergo more treatements...) and finally my mom is in remission from breast cancer.  It seems that this one runs in the family... so I have to have my girls checked regularly now!  Yup we have been deeply affected by cancer!  I was happy to be able to share this with you.  I will be showing a few more this week for this special occasion that is October breast cancer awareness month!

Path of Positivity - Challenge # 5 - Midway point

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous day.  I'm here for the midway point of the challenge over at Path of Positivity.  And this time our challenge for you is Optimism.

For this post I used a digi from Ike called Pooch Leaf. I also used a sentiment that I had gotten over at Word Art Wednesday challenge.  I just loved that sentiment and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to use it.  As you know Optimism also comes from knowing good will be coming to you!  And the best thing is that you know one day (hopefully much later) you will get to meet our maker.  So no matter how bad he is there and ready for you.

I'm back to share a card that I made this past weekend for a challenge that I really wanted to enter.  I had seen a new challenge about 2 weeks ago called Musically challenged challenge.  I really wanted to play and didn't.  So this time I didn't want to miss out.  Especially since the sponsor is Ike's Art and just love her art!!!!  I had just the perfect image to use for this challenge and it's one from Ike.  I paired it with a sentiment from Ginger house.
