Part 4 of Journaling by 5s - using Playing cards

Ok so we are already at the part 4 of the playing cards!  And this time around I used a bunch of different digi stamps and sentiments because that's what this step is about stamps and sentiments.

I also used some images that I found in some great books purchased at Winners our equivalent of TJ Max for only 0.30 and 0.70 :)  they were about weird hats and beards and weird dog coats that you can knit!  I thought they would make some great pictures for my journaling on the cards and other pages and I wasn't wrong!!!!

I'm showcasing some upcoming DT work stuff.... so won't be sharing all the links with this video... but you can see some in the description of the video.

Enjoy :)

Hugs and have a great Monday night

Genie - Karleigh Sue

Hey hope you guys are all doing good!  I'm here to share with you a little inspiration from me for the latest sexy challenge.

I have shared how I did my journaling using a technique called journaling by 5s so you have 5 steps for doing it and 15 minutes on each step.  It's something fun especially if you are scared of journaling!

I have to admit that after doing those step this page was pretty much finished.  I just added a few touch in the free play.  This page using Genie turned out to be one of my very favorites.

On the left hand side I just explained the process that I did on the right side which is the one that I worked on while doing the JB5

On the left page I used some left over papers and some project life cards.  I also used some stamps from Stamplorations they are quite fun to use and not expensive.

On the main page I used lots of magazine cut out.  The back ground was done using some acrylic paints and I added some stamps from Unity stamps.  I also put a bunch of washi tape and left over papers.  The sassy sentiment comes from Create with TLC

And here's a closer look at the digi page.  The digi itself was colored with my copics.

I'm entering this little journaling in the following challenges:

  1. Scrappers-delights-challenge-blog - Anything goes
  2. Crafting with an attitude - Anything goes - last entry did 3 with this one
  3. Crafty gals corner challenges - Anything goes
  4. Stamplorations - Anything goes using stamploration stamps

Have a great Monday everyone!

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new digi over at My whimsical little world and this time around it's with a super cute little digi perfect for all those selfie moments :)

Of course there's always a freebie on the blog so you should check it up.

In my make I decided to use this digi for my journaling of my camping trip.  I even made a selfie with my daughter!!!!  Something that I don't do lol

I used a bunch of cards from project life!  I colored the image with my copics.  And the sentiment that I have added to the picture is one from Create with TLC.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.

I hope you like this inspiration!!!!

I'm entering this journal page in the following challenges:
  1. 613 Avenue Create - Anything goes - optional girls night out... well kinda was with my daughter :)
  2. Crafting when we can challenges - Ladies night out - it was with my daughter
  3. Robyn's Fetish - Use a digi
That's it hope you have a great Monday.

Journaling by 5s Altered playing cards - part 3

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a great Sunday!  I'm getting ready to see my doctors this week.... getting a bit anxious but sure hoping that soon I can get to normal.... but I do have to admit that the drive that's 2h a day and with the back to school will be more.... is scary to me....

Anyway I'm here to share with you my latest video of the series of the Journaling by 5s altered playing cards.

For this I used a bunch of different stamps from Unity stamps:
Bitty Backgrounds
a Little bit washi
Beautiful Elements
She Art Doodles

And I also used a set that I got on special at Scrapbook Centrale (a local Montreal store) from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous - Here and there

The stencils are from Crafter's Workshop:
mini life tidbits
mini Well rounded
mini Specimens.

Hope you have fun watching my video:
Don't forget to put a thumbs up and better yet subscribe :)

Hugs and have a great Sunday night!!!

Journaling by 5s - playing cards part 2

Well I had fun today after doing a bit of shopping at a local store!  I really love how the journaling by 5s only takes 15 minutes.... makes it fun and easy.

For this step it's collage.  I was pretty happy because I had kept all my left over from the previous journaling by 5s in a little plastic box.  So I used those for this step :)

Hope you like my video.

Don't forget to give me a thumbs up if you do and I love to get new subscribers :)

SLS Lines new release - August 2015 release

Hi everyone!  It's time for my August release over at SLS lines digis.  And this one was a perfect one in the journal that I did for Journaling by 5s.

I just have to say how I loved that process and how freeing it was.  You can check out this via my youtube channel Crafting Vicky

Here's the finished page that I did once I did the free time play with it using the great Fantasy Shaman

Once I did all the process this was one of the pages that I was not able to get to for the doodling.... but I really want this journal to stay intact... so I'm using the left hand side to comment what I have done to the page on the right since the initial 5 steps.  The stamps used on these pages are from Unity stamps.

I'm really liking how mysterious this page turned out.  The image was colored with my copics.  I did add some gold accent with the sharpie pen.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC
I added some of the gold back because it was gone from the initial stenciling.... I had covered it up.... I also added some washi tape and some other gold accent with a gold sharpie pen.

I'm entering this little journaling in the following challenges:

  1. Bloggers - Backgrounds - I had lots of fun creating this one for this image
  2. Crafting-with-friends - Anything goes
  3. Simply paper crafts for all occassions - Anything goes
That's it for me for today!  Hope you have a great day

Journaling by 5s but with playing cards....

Well I finally made the plunge after watching Bonnie Irvine from afar for a long time playing with playing cards I decided it was my turn!

Since I loved the process of journaling by 5s I have made the same but with some playing cards.

You can check out my 1st video here.

Enjoy and don't forget to give me a thumbs up if you like it or better yet subscribe to my channel :)

Nude Pin up - WARNING nude....

Hello everyone! Yup I'm sharing a nude!  But if you read my post you will understand why I journaled this!  It's a message for me and for all my friends that don't like their bodies!

I don't know if you have seen my post in the SLS FB group but I have been doing the journaling by 5s.  And I used a great pin up from SLS lines for one of the pages Pin up Nude.

The layout was done while doing the steps and I finally finished the page this morning.  I really hope that you like this page.

My sentiment behind it is that we don't accept our bodies and ourselves and we really should no matter what shape we are!

From the journaling by 5 to this layout I have completed the left hand side with my thinking while doing this page.  I added some doodling as this was one of the page that I had not completed in the 15 minutes allowed.  I added some washi tape and lace tape.  The washi tape is a measuring one because we are always measuring ourselves.... and we shouldn't!
The sentiments are partially from Create with TLC

But I have to admit that I would love to have a body like she does lol.  I had fun coloring her with my copics.

Hope you like this and will think of using your digis in a different way!!!

Hope you have liked my inspiration for you go and check out the fabulous digis from SLS lines in the store.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Outhouse fun - RSD

While I was out camping I was choosing the images that I would be showcasing this month over at Sparkle and Glitter :)  And I just HAD to share this one because I thought it was just PERFECT for a camping book.

Let's be honest if you have seen my camping pictures you will know that I camp in luxury.  And one of the things that is SUPER important to me is the washroom facilities.  So when I saw 2011 Mendencino Outhouse I knew this would be the perfect decoration for my page.

Last post of Junk journal 1

Hello!  My computer is back!  OH OH OH BOY so very happy to be on my own little baby instead of using my hubby's.  It's just not the same using his....  He doesn't  have all my software... and I can't rearrange my stuff to find it easily.

The good thing is that my digis are on a little SD card so I can have them always with me.... and I wasn't without them.... and I also knew that I would not be losing them if the harddrive had an issue... and YES it's one drive that I copy often because I really don't want to lose all those precious digis!

Anyway I finally shared one of my last DT work for my little junk journal.  There's only one more share and I thought that with this share I could also release the video of the flip through of this special album.  It was great fun to make. And won't be the last.

The only thing that I think I will do different is choose a different cover and do more signatures instead of such a big one because this one ended up putting a lot of strain on the binding.... but I guess that's how we learn right?!?  Through doing stuff and having some good and not so good experience? lol

I have to admit that it was very satisfying to make something using only recycled products!!!!

Here's my last DT make it's an extra one that I did using a fab digi from Oddball called image 220.

The sentiment is from Creative memories it's a vellum paper.  I used a gelli plate and stencils to make the background.  The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out.

And here's the video to the flip through :)  Hope you watch it and like it.  I would love it if you guys give me a thumbs up or even better subscribe to my channel.  So funny how I never did videos before and now I just love it!

I'm entering this little journal page with the oddball image in the following challenges:

  1. Inspiration destination challenge blog - Anything goes
  2. 2 creative chicks - Anything goes
  3. Altered eclectics - Mixed media
  4. ccc digi creations - Anything goes
  5. Rhedds creative spirit - Mixed media
That's it for my post!!!!  Just so happy to have my computer back.  Thank you to all those of you that leave comments to my posts they are so very appreciated :)

Autumn Rose Boots n Bows - Faery Ink

Autumn Rose Boots n Bows is such a great image it was perfect for journaling!

By now you know that I really really love doing other stuff than cards :) And there's something that I've been meaning to try and that's making a junk journal!  This is the center folds of my junk journal.  This was done on some cardstock for paint that I gessoed and then did some gelli printing over.

I think it really created a fun background for this great image!
Autumn Rose
Here it is colored with my copics.   The sentiments that I have added where cut out from a book by Jim Henson's Doodle Dreams.  I purchased it for very cheap it was reduced but it had some fun quotes that I knew I would be able to use like this.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.
Autumn Rose-1
l hope that I will have given you the inspiration to try something new with your digis!

I'm entering this little journal book in the following challenges:

  1. 4 crafty chicks - Distressing  I think the background is a distressed look
  2. Crafting with an attitude - Anything goes
That's it for me.... using my hubby's computer to finish this post as mine is in the shop being fixed.... can't wait to have it back!!!

Archie - RSD make

Hello!  Now I'm totally missing out my camping trip.... It went way too fast and now it's over.... but I do have a bunch of memories from it.

I used some of my digis and one from RSD to use for a post to immortalize this moment in my camping book.  I have been doing a smash book for the past few years where everyone writes down their memories of the day for the 2 weeks we are gone.  It's fun to see the handwriting change and what the kids have remembered from their days :)  Hopefully those will be some great mementos of their family life later on.

In this case I used the great Archie.  I have to admit that he did look like a few fellows that I met at camping.... oops did I write that out.... lol
Isn't he fun with the great napkin that I found at a dollar tree??!?   So fun to use other stuff in my journals!  The great sentiment that I added to this page is from Create with TLC.

I'm really really LOVING this week's weather.... it's probably our last week of summer here.... but in the mean time I'm enjoying this little summer make!!!  I'm entering it in the following challenges:

  1. Crafting from the heart challenge blog - anything goes
  2. Artistic inspirations challenges - anything goes
  3. Love to scrap challenge blog - anything goes
  4. Pile it on challenge - Bright colors - there's lots here
That's it for me for today!  Hope you like what I have made :)

Journaling by 5s part 5 - the end

I shouldn't say it's the end.... because that journal is far from finished lol.  For the part 5 I only touched 12 out of 20 pages..... I so suck at doodling on a time limit.

Anyway it got me some good base to work with.  Here's my video.

And I will be sharing my DT work in the upcoming month.  And do a final flip through of this once I really do have it complete and I'm happy with it.... yeah.... that could be awhile.

Ta ta for now!

My Whimsical little world - New release August 17th

Journaling by 5s - Part 4

Ok so by now you know that I think it will get easier.... but it really DOESN'T!

I spent a whole part of today coloring, fussy cutting (digis, sentiments and images) and putting them into individual pocket sleeves!

So did that help me?!? NOOOOOOOO it didn't.... I ended up tearing my new handmade paper dolls or magazine cut outs.... and just not being able to choose which to use for the page....

And I CHEATED! YUP I have to say that I must have cheated between 1.5 -3 minutes out of the 15 minutes.... the timer just went FLYING and I didn't pick it up until I was FINISHED.... OOPS?!?  Who knew there was such a bad girl/rule breaker inside of me?!?

Here's my video.  I'm putting in the description all the great stores of digis that I used.  I will be sharing those individually when I do my DT post (shhhhhhhh don't tell.... I'm showing a bunch of previews of my September work to you guys in this....)

Hope you like it and don't forget to subscribe/leave a comment or a thumbs up to let me know that I should keep on going!

Karleigh Sue - Anything goes with risque image

Well my last post of the day is a sexy one for the new Karleigh Sue Sexy challenge and this time it's anything goes with a sexy risque image.

I just HAD to play with the gorgeous Biker Bomb.  And I have to admit that my hubby liked this journaling.... hmmmm wonder why lol

I did this while camping as well hence the outdoor picture :)

Scribbles challenge - Boys will be boys!

It's time for a new challenge over at Scribbles designs challenge and this time around it's about BOYS!

And I have something totally different to share with you!  Remember when I was back into making little aprons?!?  Well I made one special for my little nephew for his b-day.  His sister was getting one... so I thought he needed one too!  But something that was fit for a boy who totally ADORES trucks!

So here's the little apron that I made for him using the adorable Dump Truck

Sparkle and Glitter progressive challenge - Reminder August

Well I hope that you had played with us over at Sparkle and glitter progressive challenge in the month of July because if you did you got a fabulous little image that is just perfect for the Summer!!!!

The East wind - you ought to be in pictures

It's time for a brand new challenge over at The East Wind and this time around it's about movie inspiration.

I was preparing this while I was still camping.... and well I was kinda out of it... couldn't figure out what to do as my inspiration for you guys.  So I browsed through my images from TEW and YAY found it!  And I'm sure that you will get it just by looking at my layout lol

I used the super adorable Baby Aurora Angel.

Journaling by 5s - Part 3

Oh well.... so much for thinking that this challenge would be easier for the part 3 which was Stamps and stencils....

I had prepared so much of my stuff in advance and made sure not to put out too much to stress.... but I ended up being totally STRESSED out.... So much so that I sweated like crazy.  YUP Ilene said to breath yesterday and I think I must have forgotten that a few times!  Especially since it wasn't running smoothly like it should have.... I will let you watch the video so you can tell by yourself lol

It might be something that needs to be put on a comedy network....

Have a great Friday night everyone!

Oddball August FB challenge reminder!

Hello everyone!  It's time for my reminder to you that the challenge over at FB for Oddball is always Anything goes with an oddball image and let's be honest they are sooooo fab why wouldn't you want to use one?!?

For this reminder I did some recycling!  YUP yup yup I'm all into recycling stuff recently!  Now if only I could use up my scrap papers more in the process.... hmmmm one step at a time I guess?

Anyway I had purchased a set of calligraphy pen that came with a little booklet of empty pages to use to practice the calligraphy hand writing.  I really don't want to practice in this way.... I much prefer to practice by doing direct journaling.  I know, I know I should be practicing and it would look a lot better.... but I HATE practicing anything.... I want to play.

I didn't want to throw away all that fab paper.... so I made a little sketch book for my daughter!  WAY!  and practice (yeah... well while playing) to use my cinch.  The cardstock that I used to make the covers are from cereal box that I just covered with some papers that I got with a magazine!  So more recycling!!!!

Here's my little book using the super cute image 160.
As you can see the little book was not perfect.... but it's a practice.  And I did something new for the closure using a circle punch and some eyelets.  I also added a little charm strand that I made with some recycled beads!  Yup I'm very much into recycling.  Even the wire was the left over from another project. And see I even used my calligraphy pens to make the title bwahahahah.  The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out.

My daughter was happy with it and that's all that counts!  And I did some recycling as well!  Woop woop

I'm entering this little book in the following challenges:

  1. Rhedds creative spirit - mixed media
  2. Inspiration destination challenge blog - Anything goes
  3. Inky chicks - Use some metal embellishments
  4. Sweet stamps blog - Anything goes
  5. Craft your passion challenges - anything goes
That's it for me!  Hope you have a great Friday.

Fae sign Believe - Faery Ink

Hello everyone!  It's Friday already and this time around it's time for a new release image over at Faery Ink.

This digi is just PERFECT for me!!!!  It went into a little junk journal that I made for a friend.  And soon I will be able to share with you the full video of it.  Right now there's still some DT work that hasn't been shown.... hee hee hee.

When I say Junk journal I really do mean it... it was totally made with recycling items that I get in the mail.  I used my gelli plate on them after putting some gesso.

And here's the look for this one.  This album is a one signature one that I stitched.  I then used some ducktape to solidify the stitch.... I'm really going to have to learn to do new binding method for those because I always end up putting too much in my journals....
Anyway the card on the left is from a kit that I purchased and I thought it was pretty awesome with this.  The image was colored with my copics.  And I used my stabilo pencil around her and then used some water to wash out a bit of the bright background.  I'm really happy with how she turned out!!!

Here's a closer look at her.
Isn't she just STUNNING?!?

I'm entering this little journaling in the following challenges:

  1. The sisters of craft - Anything goes
  2. Fab n funky challenges - Things with wings
  3. Wordart wednesday - Anything goes
  4. Tuesday taggers - Use stencils - that's what I did on the gelli plate background :)
  5. Dragonfly-dreams-challenge - flying high with wings
That's it for me for now... but there's one more coming up so please do come back!

Journaling by 5s - second part

Well it doesn't  get less stressful... I think it actually got worse because I actually did like the painting on some of my pages yesterday and I didn't have proper stuff to put on it.... well not the type of stuff that I would usually use for journaling anyway.

Before I share with you the video I wanted to share with you the picture of what I mean by my potato chip bag washi tape!
While we were on vacation I saw a video from Meri Atelier (the link will be in the description of my video if you are interested in finding it).  And she was making some washi type tape using this.  So I used my fabric paint and did this which I then sealed with decoupage glue but that was still super sticky.... Therefore I put some beeswax on top.  This is what I put through my 5 inch xyron and then cut to make my very own washi tape!!!  woop woop.  Of course after seeing her video.... I HAD to get the 9 inch xyron.

Did you know that that machine costs 99$ at Michael?!? Even with my 50% off coupon I was freaking out.... the shelf was empty so I figured it wasn't meant to be until I got to the liquidation section where it was sitting there (only 1.... plus 2 refills) waiting for me at 19$!!!!!  I must have been skipping the whole way back to the cash.... I was BEYOND excited with that purchase!  I haven't used it yet because those chip bags were small.... but I do intend on making something with the larger ones :)

Anyway here's my part 2 of the journaling by 5s using some paper napkins and ephemera received in swaps over at International crafters on FB if you don't know this group you should check it out.  They always have great ideas and fun swaps!  I used as well a bunch of old book pages that I had used as back drops for spraying projects or for cleaning up my paint brush.  And some small left over pieces of scrapbook paper that I tend to accumulate and then never use!!!!

Hope you like it don't forget to leave me a comment, subscribe if you want to see the next ones and please give me a thumbs up!  It's super encouraging to know that people do like what you do :)

Journaling by 5s - my part 1

OMG who knew there was so much pressure on trying to do something within 15 minutes?!?  Well actually I remembered it like a test... .remember when you just had enough time to answer all the questions?  And you had to check how many you had left in order not to run out of time?!?  Well this is what it felt like lol

So this is the part one of Journaling by 5s  if you watch the video on Youtube you will see the links of the original author of this and how to join in and what it's all about :)

I figured I would just give a bit of a feeling on my blog of what it's like doing it.... And as I was using my new power director video maker for the 1st time.... without real tutorial or instructions that took awhile as well.  I'm feeling old and out of my element now with this.

But hey that's what I want to do, get out of my comfort zone, discover a new me an improved me after the depression and get stuff out of this whole process!

Hope you like this and don't forget to leave me a comment on youtube or at least a thumbs up if you like it :)

Have a great rest of the day and wish me luck that this composition book will stand all the painting I put on it.... bwhahahahahah

Flower cute Monster - SLS Lines

Well it's time for a new challenge over at SLS Lines and this time it's Summer!  So I figured it would be the perfect time to use the super cute little Cute Monster which I thought would be perfect for my calendar page for the month of August.

Because whether or not you want it Christmas is coming.... and I want to make sure that my gifts are ready and a little desk top calendar is always a gift that is appreciated.  So I have decided to make a few videos to share with you how I'm making them!  Here's my video to share how I made the month of August!
Here's the look of it on picture but I sure hope you look at the video :)

I used all sorts of left over pieces of paper and I think that is a great way to use them!  I also added a little flower sticker that I had.  The calendar can be downloaded here.  The cute little monster was colored with my copics here's the list (YR16, YR20, W5,W6, YG03,YG05, YG17, YG25, YG99, Y04)

I'm entering this little calendar page in the following challenges:

  1. Abc-challenge - O is for Open
  2. Country view challenges - Summertime
  3. Digistamps 4 joy-sa - anything goes
  4. Paradise of stamps - anything goes
That's it for me for today!!!  Hope you have liked my videos!!!

Maple - Art by Mi Ran

OMG I don't know where time is going but fall is already at our door soon.  And that means that Christmas will soon be around.... yikes I know.  But that also means that if I want my Christmas present done I have to get cracking because this year I decided to make a lot of calendars.  They seem to be quite popular and it's something that is useful.  I really want to be able to give gifts that will be of some use to people.

Of course that also means that I might be doing months that are not in fashion just in order to get my months done lol.  This time around the digi that I chose was just perfect for this time of year.  It's the fab  Maple.  And since the showcase theme of Art by Mi Ran for the month of August was about warm colors I thought it was even better!
Digital Stamp - Maple (#245), Digi Stamp, Coloring page, Printable Line art for Card and Craft Supply
This time around I have a little video to share with you the process of making those calendar pages and this one in particular :)  Hope you will like it and give me a thumbs up!

And here's the finished product.

I really love how I was able to use a bunch of my scrap papers!!!  The image was colored with my copics and I added some freckles to her :)  Also tried a new type of hair color.  Here's the list of the copics that I used to make her (skin: E000,E00,E04,E11,R20 and E23 for the freckles, hair:E19,E17,E13, eyes BG02,BG000, clothes: W4,YR15,YR24,Y23,B93,B95,B97,B99 and leaves YR18,YR07,R05,Y26).

I used my Nellie's oval to cut out the sentiment and edged it with Vintage photo distress ink.  The sentiment comes from Create with TLC.  I added some big leaves from my stash.  The calendar is a Quebec one and can be downloaded from here.

I'm entering this little calendar in the following challenges:

  1. ttcrd - Anything goes
  2. Crafting from the heart challenge blog- Anything goes
  3. Not just cards challenges - Anything goes
  4. Use your stuff - Anything goes
That's it for this post but there's one more coming up so I hope you will be back for it!  And don't forget to watch the video and let me know what you think!!!

Teenager - The East Wind

Wow there's a brand new release image from The East Wind and this time it's about a Teenager!!!!  and boy oh boy do I know about those!  I have 4 in the house!  And of course I still remember those teenage years... not the best of my life.

So that's what I decided to journal instead of talking about one of my kids lol  Just in case they read the post and then later say how I was just HORRIBLE... they could still say that but I'm trying to avoid as much as possible :)

I thought it would be a fun time to use my home made puzzle stencil.  So that's what I did with some of my pan pastels.  The background was done in grey and then I used the orangy/yellow for the puzzle pieces.  I added some real puzzle pieces that I painted with some black acrylic paints.  The puzzle was purchase at a thrift store on vacation that helps for the animal shelter!  So a win win!  I added some journal tags from the project life.   The writing was done with my fountain pen but one that you have to dip in the ink!  That was my 1st time doing that and I have to admit I had lots of fun doing it!

I used a great sentiment from the new club over at Create with TLC.  I also added some washi tap and did some doodling.  I'm getting more confident with my doodling which took a long time lol.... but slowly getting there.  The words on the right hand side are from one of those find the mystery word books that I purchased while on vacation.  It's the 2nd time that I use it for my journaling!  So a pretty good investment so far.

I'm entering this little journaling in the following challenges:

  1. 4 crafty chicks - Back to school - that just reminds me of the teenage years and all that's involved with going to school
  2. Sassy studio designs - Anything goes
  3. Southern girls challenge - anything goes
  4. Fab n funky challenges - no pattern paper
  5. Inspiration destination challenge blog - anything goes
That's it for me hope you have a great weekend!  Don't forget to check out my latest video!!!!

My Whimsical little world - Happy Travels

Hello everyone!  I'm back from camping.... and sore all over from packing and coming back.... it was a great trip but now I'm paying the price of the travel.  Hopefully however I'm getting better and it's taking me less time to recover from that.

I'm here for the new release over at My Whimsical little world.  The new digi the struggle was just perfect for my camping album!!!!  Don't forget on the blog there's always a freebie.

Here's my page with this.  It's funny how when trying to pack for a family of 6 for camping when you don't intent to do laundry it's a LOT of packing!!!!

Karleigh Sue challenge - Anything goes

This is my last post of the day I promise :)  And this time it's for the great Karleigh Sue Challenge where this time the challenge is Anything goes.

I figured I could have fun with the great Raven.  She comes with or without piercings.  I used the one with the piercings because it was better for me.

Here's my make :)  And of course it's journaling.  And YES I was thinking of all my teenagers at home when I made this.

Scribble challenge reminder - Birthdays!

Hello!  It's already time for the challenge reminder over at Scribbles Designs challenge.  And this time around it's Birthdays.  So that's super easy.

For my reminder I used the great Firefly mason jar to make a little ATC that was used in a pocket letter.

I stamped the sentiment from art gone wild.  The background was done with my gelli plate.  I used some bling all around as well.  The image was colored with my copics.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!  Hope you like it.

Don't forget to come back I still have one more make to share with you!  Even if I'm camping.

Oddball FB challenge- August Anything goes with Oddball images

I just looooooove the great Oddball FB challenge because you can make whatever you want so long as you use an Oddball image.  And how easy is that?!?

This time around I used the image in my junk journal.   And there's a video coming soon for the showing of that entire album :)  By junk I really mean junk... I used only recycled little items like the real estate postcards that we get to advertise sale of houses as well as some paint brochures that you can get in hardware stores.

I gessoed it all and then used my gelli plate to paint it.

The image that I used from Oddball is Image 234 I just think he's totally adorable.  I added some washi tape.  And the great sentiment is from Create with TLC.

I really hope you have liked my little inspiration.

Have a great day.... and don't forget to be back as I have more to share with you!!!

Delicious Doodles - White on white

It's time for a new challenge over at Delicious Doodles and it's white on white.

I don't  know why but that makes me think of 2 things.... either Wedding or Winter.  And since I don't need wedding cards I went with the Winter/Christmas one :)

Here's my make using the great On a winter's day

I barely colored the image and left the rest of the card white.

The ribbon is from a find at a thrift store.  The paper is from a DCWV mega pack.  And I just stamped the sentiment.

I'm not entering challenge while on camping except for this one 12 months of Christmas because I really want to have my goodies and need 2 makes which I don't  know if I will have this time around....

Hope you have a great day.  There's more to come.

The East Wind - Summer Loving

Hello everyone!  It's already time for a new challenge over at The east Wind and this time around it's Summer Loving with the fab freebie called Yes.

I had fun playing with this digi and yes I made this a little darker..... but it was fun :)  To me the the Summer Loving reminded me that often it's little teenage romance :)
