Gingerloft challenge - Birds of a feather

Image
For Jen's blog hop click here. Wooohooo!  How lucky am I!  I am now part of the wonderful DT team of  Gingerloft challenge !  I feel really blessed that I get to work with images from such talented artists. This time our challenge is called Birds of a feather. This is the card that I created: To make this card I used paper from My mind's eye - Dilly dally.  I used my new classic diamond spellbinder to cut out the digi and the paper underneath I purchased these for a steal at Winners :D  Canadian's equivalent of TG Maxx or Marshall's.  I have used Scallop and classic circle to cut out the sentiment that comes from Greeting Farms.  I added some feathers that I purchased at Omer De Serres.  The little star comes from the dollar store. Here's a closer look at the cute digi that I colored using my copics.  I did the clouds using my memento black ink. I hope that you will be joining us for this fun challenge at  Ginger...

Simple little card

As challenges take place, I'm creating a stack of cards that I will be able to give away as gifts (if no one takes them before hand lol).  This is one of those little cards for all occasions. I used one of my little owls from Greeting Farms that I got as a candy from Stamp and Create ;)  I just looove that set.  As you can see in previous posts I use it a lot!  I used this sketch to make it: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Mojo monday  - Sketch Splendid stamping  - Classic pattern (there's strips and polka dots) Crafty ribbons challenge  - Things with wings and ribbon Paper play challenges  - Things with wings Totally papercrafts  - Things with wings Top tip tuesday  - dotty or spotty Now I'm pretty sure that I can still make one more before the end of the weekend ;) Vicky xo

Thanks a hoot

I did another card for the night ;)  Wow such a productive day.  I will have to find people to give all those cards to.... Here's my little card: It's a simple card but I find those are the hardest... the ones that don't have a lot going on in them....  I used a owl and sentiment from Greeting Farm.  I really love them.  And I used a little brad inside the flower made from some flowers found from a jar of stuff on special... yes I do love finding good deals. I'm entering it in the following challenges: Cateredcrop  - Use a Brad ;) Moxie fab world  - don't throw it away, I used the inside of a box for the background.  I really love using this type of stuff. Crafting when we can challenges  - Things with wings Wags n whiskers rubber stamps  - say it with flowers.  It's just one flower... but it's still there! That's it.  I don't think I will have time for another one... but I will be back tomorrow for sure...

Hoo loves you

I just loooove this new stamp I got from Greeting Farms.  It's a series of Owl.  I have used one of the series and a sentiment for this card.  As well as an embossing cuttlebug folder.  Just really really {heart} those folders.  Makes a huge difference in the look of the paper. I used distress inks on the sentiment as well as on the border of the owl.  That stuff is addictive!  And I do end up having it all over my fingers lol. I really looove how it turned out. I'm entering it in the challenge at  One stop craft challenge  which was CAS... wonder if Dirty and simple works lol And I'm entering it also for  Totally stampalicious  since it's a card with a little critter ;) So that's it for tonight!!!  Keep on leaving comments please.  Love reading them.
