Quick little shares for progressive challenges

Image
Hello everyone!  I'm camping and we have had an amazing time here.  This week as been especially awesome weather!!!!  I don't want it to end..... I know that I'm still vulnerable... I get tired easy but with camping the beat is so much slower that it doesn't show as much! I wanted to share with you 2 makes before the progressive challenges come to an end and I will be late.... I did both... but yeah having trouble blogging.... just seem to be doing nothing but sitting in the sun and watching my kids play!  It's been awhile since I have done just that without feeling guilty! My 1st make for you is for the Outlawz progressive challenge and it's an image from Blueberry bear.  I thought it would be totally perfect for my junk journal that I made for a friend of mine. I just think this image is soooo cute!  And I used my copics to color it up.  I used some of my cards from project life and some sentiment from simple stories.  I also added some text book on the

Yup that's what all of us should be doing... capturing life simple pleasures and enjoying them... but no we run around like crazy people!!! Anyway... tonight I took the time to finally create my card with the fabulous digi Zinnia with Bumblebee from Anne's digital art.  It's one of the great freebie for the progressive challenge over at  Outlawz challenges .  We have until Saturday to upload... and again I'm getting close to the limit.  I always feel that I have so much time... until I run out lol  Are you also like that?  Anyway here's my card

Hello everyone!  I had such great intentions... I had colored this image early last week... this way I would be way early to play with the great Progressive challenge over at Outlawz challenges .  I'm not as late as last time... but it's still pretty late compared to what it should have been lol So my inspiration came from a great sketch over at Creative creations challenges , I was one of the top 3 for their last challenge which was a photo inspiration.  And this time they have a sketch that I knew would be perfect for this card.  And therefore make sure that I would not be late rofl

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a good Friday!  Here the weather was really blah!!!  But it wasn't  as bad as originally predicted...  Still... seeing snow again was really bad....  I'm so very much longing for sunshine! Tonight I have 2 new cards to share with you.  One for the new Freebie over at Outlawz.  I used the wonderful digi from Sandi Samples called 99-Flowers.  These really scream SPRING to me.  So hopefully the weather will collaborate as well...

So this is the last card that I'm going to post for now... been a busy day... and will be going back to bed soon to nurse my cold!  I play along with Outlaws freebie challenge!  Just love getting digis to play with that force me to get out of my zone sometimes.  Because we never know what great digis will be sent. For this card as soon as I saw Ducky Love I just knew there was a wonderful sentiment that I could use from  A piece of heart , if you haven't been to that blog there's some really awesome sentiment freebies!!!  How awesome right?!?

Outlawz Freebie challenge - Flowers in a basket

Hello everyone!  So I was really really busy today (I should say yesterday since it's now midnight...) shows that I'm on vacation... staying much later than I ought too... but trying to catch up and so much stuff that I want to do and so very little time... I had a really nice visit from my dad and stepmom today!  It was great fun.  She loves to craft as well so we discussed that while the guys were talking writing... my hubby is writing a book at the moment and the 1st reader is my dad... so there was much discussion on that.  Looking forward to being able to read his novel on day... So I did a lot of DT cards for this weekend... and trying to get ahead but so far not much success there... too much other stuff to do. For this post I finally got around to playing with the Freebie from Outlawz!  About time since it's going to be over on the 10th of March... so if I wanted to be in time I had to move my A... This time around we had the choice of 3 great digis.  I chos

I'm back with another card this time for the freebie challenge over at the  Outlawz challenges .  Just love this challenge because you get to play with some wonderful goodies ;)  So we had 2 images that were received.  For my card I played with Watering can made my Anne's Digital Art.  I thought this was the perfect image for any type of occasions!!! For this card I went with more pastel colors... I'm usually in the much brighter shades.  But I thought this was just perfect to bring spring on!!!  I used My mind's eye - Miss Caloline paper.  I used my scallop and classic circle.  The flower and brad were in my stash.  I used a ribbon as well from my stash. Here's a closer look at the wonderful digi that I colored using my copics.  I added a sentiment from  Create with TLC . I followed this sketch to make this card: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Sketchy friday  - Sketch Inky impressions challenges  - Ribbon and/or twin

Here's a card that I did yesterday afternoon ;)  It was made to use the wonderful freebie from Outlawz.  I used one last month and now get to participate this month ;)  So this will allow me to get the next one!!! Both images are really sweet but I decided to go with Sandi's image 93 love frog.  Just love that sweet little frog lol To make this card I used paper from Cloisonné - GCD.  I use my cm corner punch, my classic squares from Spellbinder.  I also had fun with my cameo to make the cute hearts.  I added a little pearl heart and some pearls from my stash. Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics: The cute frog came with it's own sentiment ;) I followed this cute sketch to make this: I'm entering this card in the following challenges: Sweet sketch wednesday  - Sketch Dream valley challenges  - Valentines Outlawz challenges  - Freebie challenge Qkr stampede  - Love is in the air Inky impressions challenges  -

Enjoying today

Today I woke up with a bit of a sore throat.... gives me a sexy voice for Father's day lol  I don't understand how that happen, I was fine last night and enjoyed the afternoon and evening with our family (dad, brother, sil and the twins (so so so gorgeous babies!)).  Anyway... it is what it is.   So I decided to get ahead with my DT work... trying to make cards ahead so that I can enjoy my 2 weeks vacation coming up.  Plus might go next weekend to my MIL's house so the cards need to be done in time. I saw a challenge at Mayzy Arts.  It was Black!  There's a few of her wonderful images that I have not yet used up.  One of them coming from the Outlaws.  It's a freebie!  And soooo cute.  I thought it would be wonderful for this theme.  Plus I didn't enter Sketch Saturday this week... so I really wanted to do so this week. I did all kinds of stuff for this card.  The grey and black at the top is a ribbon that I purchased at Ribbon Carousel it's part of
