Little Christmas card

I'm really into the fast recycled Christmas cards!!!  I think it's so awesome to give a new life to cards that would have ended in the recycling or the garbage (of course only store bought ones).

I would love to share with you another one that I made, actually I made 2 out of this card how awesome right?!?

Here's the card that I made

Irene's b-day Hop

So I wish you a fabulous B-day!!!  I hope you are totally spoiled for this day and the rest of the year.  My card will eventually make it to your place lol might take a little while with the holidays... but it's on it's way.

I hope you like the card that I made using the fabulous image that Betty created for us to use!

The paper is from Wishes - Authentique.  I used some Queen and co pearls.  I added a little ribbon and bow.  I also used my great nesting ovals from Quickutz.

Here's a closer look at the image colored with my copics.  The sentiment came with it.

Recycling Christmas cards :)

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.  It was quiet here but I'm still tired lol.  Today I wanted to make some cards... but didn't feel like doing much... so figured I would try something that I've been wanting to do which is Recycle some of the store bought Christmas cards that I got.

I always keep the homemade cards!  But I can't store all the store bought ones.  So those usually end up in the recycling.  Last year I had seen Hazel doing that and I thought it was very clever.

So here's one of my 1st one using a Traditional color scheme.  I also used some great velvet ribbon that I got as a Christmas gift.  My mom brought me all sorts of left over ribbons and such in a big Santa bag!!!  Best gift EVER.

Christmas Spirit

Merry Christmas everyone!!! Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments my dear followers.  It really does make my day.  And I get so excited when I see that I have new followers :)

I wanted to give you my good wishes while participating at From the heartstamps progressive challenge.

I have to  admit that it's a good thing that coffee exists... because I still don't have my energy level back... and I would totally be non functional without it lol

For this make I used the great image to make the calendar page for my hubby's gift calendar.  It's nice to be doing something different with the digis and to know that he will be seeing my art every month!

Tip Top Tuesday - Make your own

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday and this time around it's about making your own.

The sponsor for this challenge is
And for my card I'm using the super fun Scene it snowmen fun.

I decided for this challenge to make my own stick pin and here's my tip for it.  For those you can use some corsage pins and some beads. In order to glue them together use some glossy accent. It dries clear and is a fine enough tip not to make a mess on your entire stick pin.

Here's the card with the stick pin

GlamZombie Christmas - The east wind

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at The East Wind FB group and this time around it's about Merry Quirkmas!  So find something Quirky!!! :)

To me that totally meant Creepmas.... and right now I think I probably look like this image!  This year it's been really really difficult getting ready for Christmas... my hubby is trying his hardest... but he's not used to shopping lol so it's not easy to get all the gifts done and ready!

So here's my card using an Halloween image that I paired with a great Christmas sentiment.

Delicious Doodles - Welcome the new year

Hello!  I'm here with my last post as a DT with Delicious Doodles :(  I'm sooo sad about the VAT law that is making so many digi companies shut down.... the good news is that you will still be able to purchase awesome images but not directly... you will have to go through Card-making-downloads.

Enough with the sadness for this challenge Delicious Doodles Challenges for this time around it's Welcome the new year!  And I have to admit I'm QUITE ready to have the new year come.  2014 really really sucked so it will be good to change the page.  And I'm mostly hoping for good health in 2015!  Something that lacked in 2014... as well as all sorts of other crap lol

For this make I made a tag using the image Romantic clock face

The east Wind - New release - Angel

I'm here to share with you a new release image from The East Wind.  This time around it's a totally gorgeous Angel!

Here's the card that I made using this stunning image.  Such fun coloring this hair!  I decided to go for a non traditional Christmas look... it seemed fitting with this image.

Angel Lights

I've been making little gifts... I figured that it would give me a reason to color... there's not much I can do and I can't do it for very long but it calms me when I do color.  So I have been making little snowglobes (changing the picture inside for a colored image) and my kids made the comment that it wasn't fair since they didn't get some... that I was making them for others and not for home.

I remember as a kid totally loving to play with snowglobes.  There's something magical about that and you can stare at it for a long time.  Maybe that's why as well I'm making them lol being nostalgic since this Christmas is not like the others...

Anyway... I'm here to share with you one that I made for my daughter.  Good thing that she doesn't check out my blog!  It's using a super cute image from Gerda Steiner for the progressive challenge.  I used the super cute Angel with lights.

Snowman with Squirrel - RSD

Hello!  It's time to share with you my make for the hosting of Sparkle and glitter a second page from my calendar project my youngest son's teacher.  He gave it to her yesterday... I have yet to find out if she liked it... Hope she did!  I'm always a bit scared giving homemade gifts even if they take forever to make!

Anyway,  there were some great images from RSD to use for it.  So the 2nd make that I'm sharing is for the month of January 2015 using a fab image from the zibbet store called Snowman with Squirrel.  I thought it was perfect for the cold month of January!!!  Perfect time to make snowman :)

It was so fun to color.  I followed the instructions from an animal coloring class that I took to make the little squirrel.  Pretty happy with the result

Path of positivity - Faith - Midway post

Hello!  It's time for the midway post over at Path of positivity challenge and this time around the challenge is Faith.  It's a pretty good challenge I think for this time of year!

The great sponsors this time around are:

For this midway post  I used the fabulous image Christmas candle digital from Pickled Potpourri.

I thought it was a great image to illustrate Faith.  To me Faith is pretty much like the flame it burns very strongly in your heart!  And it can help you see the way when all is dark around you.

Scribbles Design Challenge - 'Tis the season
