Recycling Christmas cards :)

Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.  It was quiet here but I'm still tired lol.  Today I wanted to make some cards... but didn't feel like doing much... so figured I would try something that I've been wanting to do which is Recycle some of the store bought Christmas cards that I got.

I always keep the homemade cards!  But I can't store all the store bought ones.  So those usually end up in the recycling.  Last year I had seen Hazel doing that and I thought it was very clever.

So here's one of my 1st one using a Traditional color scheme.  I also used some great velvet ribbon that I got as a Christmas gift.  My mom brought me all sorts of left over ribbons and such in a big Santa bag!!!  Best gift EVER.

The paper is from Authentique - Believe.  I used my grand scallop and grand circle as well as my fancy label 2 from Spellbinder.  I added some bling.  The velvet ribbon as well as a ribbon that I purchased at Costco (they had HUGE rolls (50 yards) for 5$).

Here's a closer look at the image and I added some stickles to it.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  2. Crafty hazelnuts christmas challenge2 - Extra monthly Christmas challenge
  3. Pink gem challenge blog - Anything Christmas
