WOW It's alreay the beginning of January and 2016!!! And that means it's also time for the midway point for Scribbles Challenge! For the Bingo challenge. I used this make for a little gift to put in the stockings of my colleagues.
For this one I used the fabToo Moose Tree. The pop up box was made using my Cameo Silhouette. The pearls are from Martha Stewart craft and I used my Nellie's ovals for this as well as some scrap papers. The image was colored with my copics.
and I did Red, sentiment, pattern paper, pearls and glitter (on the star on top of the tree)
I'm hoping that you will like this little pop up box.
I'm entering this make in the following challenges:
Hello everyone! OMG I must be out of my mind.... I have so much stuff to do and yet I manage to add more to my pile of things to do.... why you ask?!? Well just because I figure it won't take me that long... and it will be fun...
BUT does it go that way?!? well not really lol it always ends up being longer than expected and more effort than planned but I do end up with a nice result (most of the time) So this is what happened to me here. I purchased some Christmas stockings for my colleagues to decorate the office. Of course I purchased the real type of stockings so once they are hung... well you kinda have to put stuff in them.
So I was thinking and thinking and thinking some more about what to do about that. I figured I would buy a little chocolate ferrero pack for each but that's already 7$+ as well as the stockings.... so couldn't do much more otherwise I'm purchasing too much. So I figured HEY Christmas is about making stuff... so I can make something! But what to make that they could use?!? So I decided to make little Christmas gift tags as well as a little pillow box each.
The little tags were made using some Christmas playing cards and then I used some ribbon as well as some stamps on them and finished it off by tying them. If you want to see them you have to check out my video here :
Then I used my silhouette machine and cut out some pillow box. I looked at the images that I had and decided to play with a bunch of different Sassy Cheryl ones because 1) I could :) and 2) I had just purchased a new little one on sale and wanted to use it and 3) I totally love snowman and Santas and her's are fab.
All the little papers were little scraps from my stash :) Very good to use those!!!
Here are those little pillow box. The other ones that I did for some DT well you will have to wait to see those later :)
A blustery day - the new digi that I just purchased:
Funny but all the designers decided to play with some Christmas digis even if it's only July! So over at My Whimsical little world you will be seeing lots of Christmas inspiration.
There's also a freebie if you want and don't forget that we still have our progressive challenge going on over at the fb group here.
So here's my 2 cards for you today! yup I love getting ahead of the game so I made 2 great Christmas cards this time around.
I'm pretty happy with myself because the back paper is from an old file folder that I cut down to reuse!!! I used some cork hearts from my stash. I also played with my Nellie's ovals. The great sentiment is from Create with TLC. The DP is from Lawn Fawn - petite paper pack.
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.
The next card that I'm sharing with you is using the awesome digi Tansy
I used some of my very favorite papers for this which is from Bobunny - Snow day. I used my label 14, my scallop and large circle for this. The bling is from the dollar store.
Here's a closer look at digi colored with my copics. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I'm entering these in the following challenges if I can have internet at the campsite :):
Hello! I'm here this time with a sad heart because this is the last post that I will be doing as a Designer for Fresh Brewed Design. Where did the time go?!? I started back in April 2013... seems like just yesterday lol
Oh well you still have a chance to play in the great challenge going on which is Christmas Anything goes! And to remind you of it I played with the very cute little image called My Christmas Tree. There's something classic about this image!
Yes it's been a really really busy day on my blog and I'm super happy that you are back for this post! This time it's for Scribbles designs Challenge.
The challenge for you is Penguin paradise!!!! And there's soooo many fabulous penguins in the shop that it should be easy for you to find one to use!!!
For my card I used the fabulous Twinkle Brrr. I really love how he got all tangled up in the lights... lol
Hello everyone! It's the weekend!!!! Woohooo and here it's a long weekend so it's even better! So to start this long weekend I'm here to share with you the Christmas card that I made to participate in the Progressive challenge over at Digistamps4joy. I'm last minute this time to participate... YIKES I don't do that usually but what can I say the month was a busy one in the end lol Initially I didn't think I would have as many posts as last year but I ended up at the same level so far so that's pretty good! 73 posts in a month. Not a bad month.
So here's my card with the great image JL243.I went with some really bright and festive colors!
Here's my last post of the night and no I'm not sharing some other of my jars ;o) you will have to wait to see the other 5 that I made!!! ;o)
This time I'm here to share with you a little card that I made to participate in the latest challenge over at Meljens designs. I really really want to be one of the chosen 2 GDT! Yup only 2 :( So I'm trying to share with the team how much I want in!!!! lol
For this card I used the great image Pretty poinsettia and I printed it out 4 times. I colored it with my copics and then decoupaged it! It's a long process but I really love the dimension that I got out of it.
So what have you been up to? I got to craft today since it was snowing... and since I needed to make more of those gift jars. I will be back with another one later. But for now I'm here to share with you a little card that I made for the challenge over at Lady Anne's. It's the progressive challenge and this month the sponsor is Oak Pond.
I have already created with one of the images and needed to do something with the other image that was already colored way back... which is great because guess what... if you give a gift.. you should give a card right?!? So I made a few really fast little cards to give with the jars. And this is one of them.
What's really fun is that I used my scrap papers!!! YAY!
The card base in gold is from the dollar store. I used my Label 18 and petite label 1 from spellbinder. The image was colored with my copics, I added some stickles to the hat and some glossy accent for the eyes.
Hello! Hope you had a great Monday! I'm very glad it's over on this side of the world. It was a snowy Monday lol I really hate to start my week being stuck in traffic lol
So I'm here for a quick little post tonight to share with you a little card that I made to participate in the great Deedees digis progressive challenge!!! I'm totally addicted to these challenges. And this time around since I needed to make a lot of Christmas cards this weekend (15 in all for some colleagues....) I took the easy route and used the precolored digi. I really love that option when you can use a precolored digi for a fast little card. You can then concentrate on the layout!
This great little set comes in color and none colored and has some great sentiment as well as a little conductor gingerbread man. In my case I used only the engine. And if you haven't participated yet you can get this great set for the low price of 1.5$$$ what a steal! That's what I did last month and now I'm into the challenge!
Hello everyone! It is time for another Bit By the Bug Tuesday and that means that it is time to introduce you all to the newest freebie over at Creative Bug on the Loose. This week we have...
OHHHHH MYYYYY... there's an opportunity to be a guest designer over at Meljen's Design and I soooo love their image. I play as often as I can... and I was waiting anxiously for an opportunity to apply as a DT... that never happened :( So couldn't take the chance to miss this... Now the bad part is that they will only take 2 people... and of course there are so many talented folks out there that I'm really not thinking that I will get in... But I still have to try my luck right?!?!
So I'm playing this time with the very cute Buddy the fox - Snowbuddy knows. I just think he's adorable and right now he's 50% off... so only 1.5$... can I tell you that I will be going for a shopping spree?!?
