Calendar with Faery Ink image

Image
Vintage Wreath was the perfect image to use for the calendar that I am making as a gift for my grandmother. I shared with you in my last post for Faery Ink how I'm behind in making my Christmas card. The same can be said for the gifts that I wanted to prepare for Christmas. I always think I have so much time but then in the end as we approach the time I'm rushing like crazy... I hope that I'm not the only one that has this issue lol But at least I have another page for my calendar done now with this fabulous image.   I used some papers that had been in my stash forever.  The calendar comes from a kit purchased at the dollar store.  I colored this image with my copics as I usually do but I also used some gell pen on the white parts to give it some shine. Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday everyone. Hugs

I really need to do it otherwise I'm wilting like a flower lol well really I am!!!  And I haven't played with my inks in forever so that's what I did here with my distress inks. Lahla Lady Drake - Faery Ink birthday card

Image
Lahla Lady Drake  was the ideal image to use for my daughter's birthday card. My daughter happens to adore dragons!!!  And I think this is the 3rd year that I make her a card using an image from Faery ink :)  Just have to say that Amanda draws the best dragons and ladies to go with them!!! Without further ado let's look at this card. Because I've been doing so many mixed media pieces it was strange to do a card.  But I'm very happy to report that my daughter loved it! I used papers from Hey girl by Basic Grey.  The flower is from Prima (it's been forever since I used one of those!!!).  I added some washi tape for the border at the bottom and the paper under the sentiment was cut using a Quick cutz die.  The image was of course colored with my copics. Hope you have a fabulous Sunday everyone. Hugs
