Lahla Lady Drake - Faery Ink birthday card

Lahla Lady Drake was the ideal image to use for my daughter's birthday card.

My daughter happens to adore dragons!!!  And I think this is the 3rd year that I make her a card using an image from Faery ink :)  Just have to say that Amanda draws the best dragons and ladies to go with them!!!
Without further ado let's look at this card.
Victorious dragon fae
Because I've been doing so many mixed media pieces it was strange to do a card.  But I'm very happy to report that my daughter loved it!
I used papers from Hey girl by Basic Grey.  The flower is from Prima (it's been forever since I used one of those!!!).  I added some washi tape for the border at the bottom and the paper under the sentiment was cut using a Quick cutz die.  The image was of course colored with my copics.

DDC#47 - Winter blues

Hello everyone!  It's time for another challenge over at  Digi darlas !  This time it's about winter blues!  Yup I've got them by now.... just really really hate winter and looking forward to the warmth coming back. So for my card I used the digi Country star snowman. For my card I used paper from my mind's eye - be merry.  I used my label 28, scallop circle and standard circle.  I added some foam snowflakes.  The ribbon is from EK success - fun fibers and was part of a package I received from Rhonda Sue!!!  Thank you my dear see it's quite useful!
