Fresh Brewed DT post - August 31st

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you my creation with the fabulous digi from Fresh Brewed Designs.

I'm feeling really nostalgic because this is the last post from my camping journal!!!  I had so much fun creating with digis in my journal this year!  I'm going to have to do it again next year... but that is sooooo far lol

Anyway here's my use of the super cute Peekaboo sunshine.  I thought it was perfect for my journal since I really really wanted some sun in our vacation!  So I was saying here that I really didn't want any clouds like it was showing in this picture...

Flying high

No I'm not taking drugs lol I realize that with a title like that it might make you think that I am...  I came home late again... worked 'til 7pm again... and got in early and ate at my desk... yup pretty crazy time!  Anyway, I figured I needed some craft time just for the fun of it... no expectations, just fun.

So I turned to some new stamps that I had purchased on sale over at Joanna Sheen.  Just loooove that store, free shipping after purchase of £9 including over seas!!!  How fabulous.  And good prices and products.  And super fast delivery.  So yup... I go shopping there... too much actually.  Anyway that's not the point... the point is I got around to using the great little House Mouse stamp set Feathered Friends - Flying high.  I thought it was just perfect to play in the new challenge over at House Mouse and friends which is transportation... and also at the Joanna Sheen challenge which is Pink.

So here's my card with this in mind.

Digital delights DT card - Lonely pup

Hello!  I'm back ;o)  This time to share with you a little card I made for Digital Delights.  I used an image from the set Lonely Pups which will soon be on DVD since it's no longer in the store.  I paired this up with the so fabulous sentiment Man's best friend circular sentiment that you can purchase here.  It's only 50 cents... and it's just perfect for those little cards that show your little friends!

WOYWW - August 28th 2013

Goodevening everyone.  I'm showing you a different part of my life today... I was at the office until 7pm tonight and thought it would be fun for you to see my messy desk there at WOYWW... It's month end and budget time so I'm overloaded with Powerpoint presentations while you guys are crafting!!!  Totally jealous and looking forward to some crafty time.

as you can see my desk is just as messy as my crafty one lol

Hope you had a great day on your end!!

Oh Tannenbaum

Good evening everyone!!!  I was supposed to be here much earlier to share with you a card made with a fabulous digi from San!  But I messed up... I colored and created a card with a digi that's not released yet...ooops... and I almost posted it... yup almost ;o)  So you don't get to see it!  I realized in time that I had messed up.  So after work (which I left at 7pm...) I hurried to eat and go and create the card with the other digi that I had colored already lol

Here's my little inspiration using the super fun 2013 Oh Tannenbaum that's part of the new Christmas release.  You can find it here.

I find it's never too early to get going with your Christmas card... because before you know it, it will be Christmas.  Yikes... snow and cold... better not think about that part of it yet.

Goodmorning!  I hope you are having a fabulous week!  I'm here to share with you a little card I made this weekend to play at the challenge over at Dilly Beans.  This time it's inspirational quotes

For this card I used 185- Angel.  This was also part of the great set I purchased when there was an awesome sale.  So very happy that I'm actually coloring the images that I purchased instead of having them stay in my computer... and just looking at them.  Yup I'm a big time hoarder... good thing those don't take much room.

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Goodevening!  I hope you had a great day! In my case it was ok... trying to do some powerpoint presentations... ughhhh so long... and not fun in the least lol.  When I see what everyone was up too during the day I really miss my studio!

So I'm here tonight to share with you a card I made a little while ago with one of the awesome Lacy Sunshine images called Rosalind.  She's part of the moppet series.  You can purchase her here.

When the scrap hits the fun - DT card- Colorink

Hello everyone!  I'm here to share with you a card I made with the awesome new set from Color ink digi stamps - When the scrap hits the fun.  It's been forever since I last did a card for that DT ;o)  Marion has been busy moving!  So very happy to be able to showcase some of her work again.

I'm using for this card the very cute Peter Sitting on books.  The sentiment is Books also from that set.  Just perfect for a little school card.

Cat in the bag

Hello!!!  So how was your Monday?!?  Are you surprised to see me again so soon?!?  I told you I created a lot this past weekend... well it was to participate in some challenges so better get blogging before I miss entering lol

So this time it's for the Meljen's challenge.  They have a fancy font challenge.  For this card I used the Cat in the bag.  Just love that image so close to what my cats do lol

Eureka DT card - Be sentimental

Hey!  This is the last post of the day!  It was busy... not as busy as busy as some other Mondays... but still... Now it's time for a new challenge over at Eureka Stamps.

And this time our challenge for you is  to be sentimental.  I decided to go the humour way ;o)  Hope you like it!

I used the awesome sentiment 24207 - Photographic memory.

DDC # 77 - Anything goes with a twist

Hello!  This is my post number 2 of the day.  And this time it's for Digi Darlas.  We have an anything goes with a twist challenge.  So your twist is pretty easy actually... it's a bow, digi and one or more butterflies.

I decided to go easy on myself and used an image with an integrated butterfly ;o)

Tammy's Scrapin Corner Challenge # 77

A little card for my son

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous Sunday!  I had a lot of fun.  I crafted a lot... but this time I was pretty naughty... I crafted for me... and to enter some challenges that I really wanted to participate in... so I'm going to be really really late with my DT card next week if I don't craft this week lol  oops... but it was lot's of fun.

The card that I'm showing you is made for my son William who will be starting in a new school this week... he's really upset with the change... and rightly so.  The school system reorganized the schools and to make a long story short he's changing school for his grade 5 and 6.... :(  So I wanted to bring a smile to his face that day.  There's a challenge going on at Tiddly Inks about school.  And this seemed appropriate for him.  I used a wonderful little image called Kiki.  It was a freebie (might still be in the store).  See, our dogs have had the kids with them the entire summer... so for them as well it will be a big change the back to school.  So I'm thinking of telling that to William!  And there really couldn't be a cuter image to do so than this one.

Groove on!

I'm back ;o)  And this time I'm here to share with you a little card I made with the fabulous amazing outstanding promo set offered over at Create with TLC free with any purchases!!!  There are so many goodies in that set and totally perfect to go back in time a bit to the 70s ;o)

Gingerloft - It's a small world

Hello everyone!  Hope you are doing well.  As this post is being posted I'm in bed sleeping lol.  So it's time for another challenge over at Gingerloft challenges and this time our challenge is It's a small world.  So represent where you are coming from.

For my post I used the image Barn with Trees.  Because here in Canada and it's true in Quebec as well, we have lots of Country side!  So this was really an appropriate image for this.

613 Avenue Create - Create your own challenge

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.  And this time it's really easy because you get to choose your own challenge with this fabulous grid.
Our sponsors this week for you are:

  and  Get your Blinkie Here!

For my card I used a Paper Shelter image called Coffee Break Outlines.  I thought it was perfect to send to my stepmom who was starting to work again... she's a teacher and really wasn't looking forward to going back to work after the summer off...

I used in the 1st column - image and sentiment, 2nd column - die cut, 3rd column - stickles, 4th column flower and pearl and bling, 5th column - ribbon

Just roll with it

Ok so today I played a bit.  I did a post already on my darker side blog if you want to check it out it's over here: Darker side of me.

And this time I'm playing with my 2nd image for the challenge Derbie chick challenge.  I already played with the digi from TSC and now it's time to play with my Simply Betty image called Bonnie Skull Babe.

I used again a fabulous sentiment from the Create with TLC set that you can find here.

Here's my card, I had my daughter and her teenage friend give it the seal of approval lol

Step aside Barbie

Now did I intrigue you with the title of this blog post?!?  That was done on purpose lol.  I have been wanting to play with the wonderful freebie offered by Sassy Studio over on Crafting Planet for the progressive challenge.  And this time the image is the very sexy Steampunk Amelia.  I thought this really went perfectly with a sentiment that I had from Create with TLC.

This is how I roll

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a fabulous Friday.  I'm soooooo glad this week is over!  And so looking forward to some crafting time this weekend lol.    I was longing for my craft room all week... and so got to craft a bit tonight.  And this is what I have to share with you.

There's a great challenge going on right now in the coloring world... and it's the Vulture knockouts vs the skullhead Babes.  The vulture is Stamping chef and the skullhead babes is Simply Betty.  Since I totally love both I had to play.  I mean I really just HAD TOO!!!!  No choice about it...  So tonight my candy for doing the week at work was to color and put on a card the awesome digi Kitty Paw Vultura.

I needed some great sentiment to go with these awesome images.  So I let Paulette from Create with TLC know about this challenge taking place and she came out with some really awesome sentiments to go with the images
You can find these here.  If you are playing in this challenge those are really awesome sentiments to go with the images!

Here's my 1st card for this challenge:

ATC with Attitude - Aug 23 2013

Hello everyone!!!  It's FRIDAY!!!! that means only one more day of budget meeting for the week lol.  And well next week... long week trying to do month end and the powerpoint presentation for the consolidated budget presentation ughhhh oh well it's next week right?!?  And in between is a great crafting weekend as well as coffee with a wonderful friend YAY!!!

For now I'm here to share with you my latest ATC for ATC with Attitude and this time it's about Beach fun!  Hope you had some this summer!  Around here we are pretty much at the end of that... the water is getting colder... and even for the pool the kids are not as excited to go in.

This time our fabulous sponsors for you are:
And for my creation I used the very fun Beach Kitten!

Digital Delight - DT card - Hip Hop Myrtle the turtle

Good morning everyone!  Hope you are all doing good!  It's Thursday and this means that we are getting closer to the weekend!  It also means that it's time for a new card from me with the fabulous digis from Digital Delights.

This time I used the so cute little Hip Hop Myrtle the turtle that you can purchase here.  I paired this up with a sentiment from the set Family sentiment that you can find here.

WOYWW - August 21 2013

Good evening everyone!!!  I thought about it!  And here I am with my post about what is going on this Wednesday on my workdesk!  Just in time to participate with the post over at WOYWW

So this time I'm here to share with you that I have some brand new ideas to play with... ;o)
I saw a great idea in a Magnolia magazine and really want to try it out.  So my dad was really wonderful and created a bunch of little wood block the size of ATCs for me to play with  ;o)  And that's the box that's on my desk!  I also have my faithful copic color chart.  You can also see in the back my little washi tape dispenser with the many levels all filled btw... but now at least I started using them.

The other totally exciting news is that I started a darker site that can be found here:  I finally took the plunge!  Halloween is coming and I totally love that time.  I want to be able to challenge myself to do some of the more gruesome stuff... but I figured my super wonderful followers here might not really like this side of me, even if it's a real side of me. I really love anything that has to do with horror.... vampires, werewolves, zombies, the gore and all... and well it's hard to share it on a blog that is also about the puppies and the cutesy stuff.  Don't get me wrong, I love that stuff as well... but sometimes when life gets hard at work, well it's nice to do a darker creation with not so nice sentiments lol  So this will be my outlet.  So for those of you that would like to see the evolution of that you can join the followers there and for the other of you I have protected you from it by keeping the 2 blogs separate!

So that's what's going on in the crafting life of Vicky!  For the real life... I'm in the midst of budget season so not much time to relax!

And that's it for now.  Hope you have a great rest of the week and get to craft!

Sunshine and sunflowers

Goodmorning!  It's time for my progressive challenge post for the great freebie over at Outlaws.  Oh my how fast do 2 weeks go.... but since I really love their digis I just have to find some time in my busy weekend to color up some images lol then I only have to do the card in the week.  It's easier to just assemble then to try and color and assemble during a weeknight.

So this time I used the fabulous 111 - Sunflowers by Sandi Samples.  I really love the bright sunflowers.  I find them so very cheerful!

Smile it makes people wonder

Hello everyone!  Hope you are having a great week so far.  I'm doing good.  I'm in the midst of my budget process... so doing the budget tour and lots of meetings...actually all day meetings all week.  Other than that got the news that my youngest son William will have to change school this year so in a week he's starting off at a different school so that's really hard for him.  He's starting his 5th grade.

I'm here because I created a card this past weekend for the new challenge over at Dilly Beans!  I have purchased a whole set of digis (the retiring ones 50 for 25$ how cool right?!?) and so I try to keep using them!  I seem to accumulate fabulous digis and then I don't use them.  So my new resolution is to use them, that and my stamps.  Let's see how long this resolution lasts lol  But without that, I really have no reason to purchase anything if I don't actually use it!

This time their challenge is Little Monster so I used the so very cute 386- Millie Monster.  When I saw her I thought right away of a saying that would be perfect.  And I was sure that I had a stamp with it... So I searched and searched and searched some more... and finally gave up and made the sentiment with my label maker and I really like the way that looked in the end.

Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #161

Hello everyone!  It's Tuesday and it's time for another challenge over at Tuesday Throwdown.  And this time our challenge for you is to use scraps!!!  And our sponsor for you is

Digital Delights by Louby Lou

And for my card I used the so very cute Pouting Pup.  I needed a thinking of you card and I thought this was just perfect.

When I read that we were doing scraps... I thought it was the perfect time to use some of my left over papers.  Especially all the little pieces that I have and can't  seem to use other than for my ATCs.    I was wondering what to do as a layout...  And here's what I came up with.

Monday, August 19, 2013

oh my the dark side has emerged...

Hello everyone!  I finally got around to creating a darker site for all my darker creations ;o)  Actually I've been tame... because I didn't want to offend my nice follower here!!!  I know that darker stuff is not to everyone liking.  But for those of you that do like it, here's my new blog address for that side of me mwhahahah!!!!!  Hey Halloween is coming... and that's one of my favorite time of the year!!!!!

So here's the address if you want to come over:

Path of Positivity - Challenge # 5 - Midway point

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a fabulous day.  I'm here for the midway point of the challenge over at Path of Positivity.  And this time our challenge for you is Optimism.

For this post I used a digi from Ike called Pooch Leaf. I also used a sentiment that I had gotten over at Word Art Wednesday challenge.  I just loved that sentiment and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to use it.  As you know Optimism also comes from knowing good will be coming to you!  And the best thing is that you know one day (hopefully much later) you will get to meet our maker.  So no matter how bad he is there and ready for you.

So this is what I have to share with you in my journal this time

Melonheadz DT card - Back to school

Ohhhh no... it's back to school time ;o)  And this is the challenge we have for you over at Melonheadz challenge.

For my card I'm using the wonderful digis from the set Back to school.

I used the BTS - School colored as well as the sentiment BTS  cool.

DDC # 76 - Birthday celebrations

Wooohoo it's time for another challenge over at Digi Darlas this time it's about Birthday celebrations!

For my card I used the wonderful digi Happy Bearday.

Tammy Scrapin Corner - Challenge # 76

Hello everyone!  It's Monday again!!! And this time it's the Monday of the budget tour... that takes forever. So this is going to be such a long week.... But anyway this is the time for the new challenge over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this time it's about food so any image with food!!!

Our sponsor for you this week is
Eureka Stamps

And for this card I used the digi 20002 sm Ice cream Bear.

Hello Pet

Good evening everyone!  I'm posting late... but I just finished all my DT posts and really want to post this little card before going to bed to make sure that I get it in time for the challenge over at Tiddly Inks.

I fell across a great sale and they had the cutest new digis... so just couldn't resist.  Especially since it was just perfect for my teenager ;o)  So I had to purchase the set which is called Hello Pet.  It comes with some great sentiments as well.

Here's my card with this new set.  Hope you like it!  My daughter totally loved it.  It helps that I used some of the colors she really loves lol

ATC - Vintage Butterfly afternoon

Here's my 2nd inspiration post with the great new promo set over at Create with TLC and this time I made a little ATC.  I thought the image Vintage butterflies afternoon would make a fabulous ATC background!!!

So I only added a little butterfly die cut made with CC designs butterfly, a little bling from Recollection and the little corner die cut from a left over project.  Thought the colors were fitting with this.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
  1. Fun with atcs - Die Cuts
  2. Card crafters circle - Winged things
  3. Cut it up challenges - What's bugging you - Butterfies are bugs... so thought this would work.
And that's it!!!  I'm off to do some dreaded housework and then to craft a bit.  It's gorgeous outside... but I really really want to play with my craft stuff... I've been missing it.

Little Fragile

There's a new promotional set over at Create with tlc!!!  Wow totally stunning and yours free with purchase.  You really need to check it out.

I just had to create with it.  So I used the fabulous Fragile Papers 4 that I played with in words and got 2 different look for them.   I also used the digi Little fragile and fiddled with it also in words to get this look.

Lacy Sunshine DT card - Challenge # 15

Hello everyone!!!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  It's Sunday and this means a brand new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge and this time our challenge for you is an easy peasy one!!!  It's Girls Girls Girls!!!!  And this is just the perfect time as the brand new fabulous digis "City Girls" make their debut!!!!

We also have a few little changes to the challenges.  All entries will be eligible to the prize of 5 awesome digis!!!  And the top 3 will also get a goody how fabulous right?!?

Now comes the time to share with you my creation for the challenge using the Fabulous digi Megan Montreal City girl!!!!  And she's named after my little Montreal city girl Megan who sooooo loves the Montreal Canadians so when I saw this image I knew right away that I wanted to color it the colors of our team!!!

oh baby - you've been framed!

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a better morning than me... I had some blood test to do.  Which in itself would not be so bad except for 2 things, I have small veins and nurses have a lot to trouble finding them... and 2 one of the tests required that I had a blood test every 30minutes for 2 hours... so all in all 5 sets of pocks... now for the test I couldn't eat for 12 hours... that in itself is hard and no coffee either... so started the day with a headache.  And after she pocked me twice in each arm for the 1st set of blood samples... I passed out!!!  So she had to pock me again this time lying down.  That means 3 pocks for the 1st set... you can imagine the rest... so bad that she ended up the 4th and 5th samples taking it from my fingertips... ughhhh I really hate this!!!

The good thing is that I'm alone for the weekend with my son Gregory and we went to watch Despicable me 2!!!  And as my 1st meal of the day I had popcorn and chicken nuggets lol  But it was really fun.  And since we had not seen the 1st one I purchased it on DVD so that will probably be our night together.  Meanwhile he is now reading some new Mangas and once this post is published I'm hoping to do some cards... haven't done any this week and I'm really really behind now... but time with my son was my number 1 priority!!!!

So now back to my regular post ;o) I haven't played over at Meljen's challenge in a few weeks with vacation and all... so I really really wanted to play again.  And this week's challenge was just perfect for me.  I used the wonderful Cuddle Cloud baby.  I really love to use this image for my baby cards!!!!  It's perfect for boy or girl!!!

Scribbles Challenge - Challenge # 8

Hello fellow Scribblers!!!  It's time for a new challenge over at Scribbles designs challenge and this time our challenge for you is CAS!!!! YUP I know for some of you this will be quite a challenge....

I decided for my CAS card to go with a monochrome look.  I find that it's easier to do so in that way... and well black and white already makes it more CAS in my mind... lol I know my mind might be funny...

For this card I decided to go with the awesomse Summer Solstice 1.  I just looooove the elegance of this stamp and I find it's just perfect for a get well card that could be used for a man as well as a woman.

Faieries Challenge Challenge # 11

It's time for a new challenge over at Fairies challenges and this time our challenge is about Back to school!  And our fabulous sponsors are:

I used the fabulous digi apple girl for this awesome card!!!!
