Sock up - 40 and travelling
I'm back! Yes I have a little creation to share with you that I made to play in a few challenge over at the Sassy's blog. I was doing my DT commenting when I came across a blog talking about a progressive challenge with some Sassy images!!!! Oh my you know me... I was a goner lol. So I just had to ask to play with the great Sock Up. I colored her up while I was on vacation and put her on a card this weekend.
My inspiration for the card came from the Sassy studio challenge this week. It's about vacation and travel. And the challenge over at Paper Craft Planet is about birthday. So put the 2 together and you get a card for my SIL who will be turning 40 this fall. She is the one who pushed me into doing an impromptu trip to Paris for a weekend... She's travelled all over the world and I haven't but that trip was a blast. So this is my card for her to remind her of that trip.
I had some paper from MME that's called Traveler. It was just perfect in the black with the pink card stock as a background. I added a black doily to the back of the digi. I used my scallop and large circle from spellbinder. I used some foam numbers from my stash.
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics. I used a sentiment from Create with TLC that I think is perfect for travelling and vacation as well as for Birthdays. I know I really love to have some company with me and it makes the memories a lot better!

Getting closer to the 400 mark. I have a special prize for that number. I purchased an extra stand like the one I use for my cards... That will be what I give to you guys when I reach this milestone.
