oh baby - you've been framed!

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a better morning than me... I had some blood test to do.  Which in itself would not be so bad except for 2 things, I have small veins and nurses have a lot to trouble finding them... and 2 one of the tests required that I had a blood test every 30minutes for 2 hours... so all in all 5 sets of pocks... now for the test I couldn't eat for 12 hours... that in itself is hard and no coffee either... so started the day with a headache.  And after she pocked me twice in each arm for the 1st set of blood samples... I passed out!!!  So she had to pock me again this time lying down.  That means 3 pocks for the 1st set... you can imagine the rest... so bad that she ended up the 4th and 5th samples taking it from my fingertips... ughhhh I really hate this!!!

The good thing is that I'm alone for the weekend with my son Gregory and we went to watch Despicable me 2!!!  And as my 1st meal of the day I had popcorn and chicken nuggets lol  But it was really fun.  And since we had not seen the 1st one I purchased it on DVD so that will probably be our night together.  Meanwhile he is now reading some new Mangas and once this post is published I'm hoping to do some cards... haven't done any this week and I'm really really behind now... but time with my son was my number 1 priority!!!!

So now back to my regular post ;o) I haven't played over at Meljen's challenge in a few weeks with vacation and all... so I really really wanted to play again.  And this week's challenge was just perfect for me.  I used the wonderful Cuddle Cloud baby.  I really love to use this image for my baby cards!!!!  It's perfect for boy or girl!!!

The paper is from MME - Blink of an eye.  I used a lot of dies to make this card.  The frame is Stately circle and I also used my large circle from Spellbinder.  The sentiment is on a piece cut with a Joanna Sheen die #5.  I added some lace tape from Inspired by stamping.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  I did the baby twice to pop his arm and leg up!  The sentiment was stamped with a stamp.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
  1. Meljens designs dt - You've been framed
  2. Jellypark challenges - Cuddly Wuddly
That's it for me!!!  Enjoy the rest of your Saturday and see you tomorrow!!!  And a HUGE welcome to my newest follower!!!  Wooohooo only 8 more and I'll be doing a celebration giveaway.

Hugs

  1. I thought I was bad enough with blood tests but it sounds as though it was more of an ordeal for you! At least you made the most of your first meal of the day! Love that die that you used around the image. Lovely card Vicky.

  4. Absolutely adorable! I'm guess I'm going to have to get that set of dies you used for the frame. I keep seeing people use them and love the results every time.
Blood tests are a nightmare for me, too. Morbidly afraid of needles and will faint every time unless I'm lying down when they poke me. I've learned to just tell them ahead of time about the fear and not let them do the test unless they have a bed or reclining chair for me to lie on. lol I truly don't envy you 5 pokes in 2 hours. Yuck.
