Sunshine and sunflowers
Goodmorning! It's time for my progressive challenge post for the great freebie over at Outlaws. Oh my how fast do 2 weeks go.... but since I really love their digis I just have to find some time in my busy weekend to color up some images lol then I only have to do the card in the week. It's easier to just assemble then to try and color and assemble during a weeknight.
So this time I used the fabulous 111 - Sunflowers by Sandi Samples. I really love the bright sunflowers. I find them so very cheerful!
For this card I managed to use all left over papers!!! YAY!!!! Since it's a rectangular shape card it makes a difference.... I usually go for the 6x6 card but then the left over pieces are perfect for rectangle cards. I have to try to make more of those. I just find that most sketches are easier with the 6x6 and most of the time I use the smaller paper packs... but then I always have a few sheets that I cut or a few 6x6 that are leftover like the white piece of dp - it's some boards in a whitish color. Anyway I'm really happy with the result. I used my scallop and large circle dies from Spellbinder and that's it!
Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and the fabulous sentiment from Create with TLC.
I followed this fabulous sketch and this week the spin is sunflowers!
And I used this image as my inspiration:
