short little post

I'm going to be doing some very short little posts... I've been doing some ATCs to include in pocket letters and of course being a card maker initially I just can't seem to not put an image on mine... so I'm sharing a few that I made to enter miscellaneous challenges and I'm about to miss the deadlines... yeah.... haven't been blogging much it seems  I used to blog over 70 times a month and now I can barely do 50.... yikes... you can tell that I'm not out of the woods yet.

Anyway this is not about me it's about my little makes!

So here's my 1st one for the from the heart progressive challenge I though this would make a fab little ATC  For this I tore the sentiment out and edged it with some dysty concord.  I also tore a few strips of papers as well.  The background was made using my gelli plate (for the 1st time!)

My next one is using a fab little image from A day for daisies, I haven't played in awhile and thought it would be fun to do so.  So I used 3 different ovals in pattern paper to fit with their challenge going on. the ovals are from Nellie's ovals.  The ATC background was done using a glossy photo paper sheet and some homemade alcool inks :) and then I used a stamp to do the frame with some jet black archival inks.  The image, Fairy flower outing, was colored with my copics and some stickles.

and here's the last one that I'm sharing today and this one is to enter in the Sami Stamps anything goes challenge it's using butterfly flower.  It's the same background paper as the previous one.  I used my Nellie's rectangle and colored with my copics and some stickles.

Path of positivity - Serendipity challenge - Midway post

I thought it would be perfect for the serendipity moment that I was going to share with you.  Back when I was in university I had lots of fun going to the student pub on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights.  But that Saturday I didn't feel like going out.  It was March 16th of 1991, 24 years ago today!  My friend convinced me that we should and that I would have fun. Finally I agreed and went out.  And this was the night where I danced for the 1st time some slow songs with the boy that was to become my husband!  We have been together ever since.  Now that friend who got me to go... well I don't even remember her name lol all that I remember is that she didn't like Marc Paul and had a lousy night that night!  But I'm very happy that I did follow her advice because had I not gone out... well I might not be happily married with 4 fabulous kids.

After this story you will understand my choice of image!

Open Minded Crafting Fun - Midway post - All white

I have to admit to me that's a bit hard...  But then I got an idea and used it for a gift for the after school care educator of my son.  I made a little snow globe with a great image from Sami Stamps called 2 birds

And I left the image as is.  I think it's turned out quite elegant.

Cozy Pumpkin

Hello everyone!  I'm sooooo tired... lol and I feel like this kitty to just curl up in a pumpkin and go to sleep...  I just HAD to purchase this cute little digi from Cozy Pumpkin from Sami Stamps.

I wasn't quite sure what to make just knew that I wanted to color him up.  So I used a sketch to inspire me from Seems a little sketchy.

ok... so I said that the last post was the last... but I lied... I'm here to share with you a little creation that I did for the new challenge over at Sami stamp and it's about ORANGE!  There's some fabulous new stamps and I ordered a bunch and while putting the new ones in I noticed my little squirrel and he reminded me of a sentiment that I had gotten in the last Create with TLC club.  That one was about the neighbors and it's quite funny!!!  So here was the inspiration for this card!

Here's my last post of the night!  I was super lucky to play in the last challenge over at Sami Stamps.  I try to play as much as possible and that time around I had a DT card to make with a fabulous image.  So I entered the challenge and Sami gave every one who entered 1$ off a digi from the store...

Well.... I just couldn't just keep it to that... so had to purchase a few more and got some great freebies at the same time.  I have some specific cards that will be made with those great images. And so after I had received my order I checked back to see what was the challenge since I really wanted to enter again and LOW and BEHOLD there's a DT call going on...  I know... some of you might think that I'm already in way too many dts... but guys... did you check how many posts I do in a month?!?  I just love crafting (and I'm not late ever with my DT work).  I especially love crafting for some of the artist that I like!  And Sami stamps is one of them.  I've made quite a few cards already just for the fun of it.  And I'm usually sharing on FB as well.

So anyway I'm throwing my hat in to the challenge.  I figured if I don't try it I'll always regret it!  And I try not to regret things!  For this card I used the fabulous image Butterfly flower.

Winter scarf owl

Hello everyone!  Hope you are well!  I'm doing better and it's so fun to be able to say that!  I'm here today because well there wasn't anything going on for DT work so I figured it would be a great time to share a card that I made using a great digi from Sami's stamp called Winterscarf Owl.

I made this card to go with the little bookmark that I posted earlier this weekend.  It will be sent to my dad. It's also a great timing to be able to enter this in Sami Stamp challenge because it's Anything goes.

Goodevening everyone!  How are you?!?  I got some crafting done!!!  Took forever to do anything but at least I was crafting which in itself is good news right?

So I'm here to share with you a little make that I did using one of the fabulous digis from Sami stamps it's called Snowflake feathers.  I thought it was the perfect little image to make a bookmark for my dad.  I plan on giving it to him in a card that I also made and will share probably tomorrow with another great Sami's image!  Just love those!  And really hoping to win a GDT spot to be able to play some more lol I've played with them I think for all their challenges so far.

I'm sharing with you a little card that I did on Saturday with a preprinted image that I had done for Sami stamp.  I really wanted to play and since I had already printed it out... I figured I really had no excuse not to play along.  And since I have left many DTs I had some time on my hand to play just for fun like this.... not that I need an excuse to play with those cute digis lol

Hello everyone! Hope you had a fabulous day!  Mine was spend for a big chunk of it in a meeting downtown... I really really hate the traffic lol  And right now there's a lot of road repairs still going on before winter is officially here... it's just a big mess...

Anyway enough about that... I'm here to share with you a little card that I made to play over at Sami's stamp challenge.  There's a wonderful little freebie that you can get for a limited time and I really wanted to play with him.  So here's my take for the latest challenge which is CAS.

I used another little card base from a purchased kit on special.  I'm covering the base so in the end it really doesn't look the same anymore...

I'm hoping to make a few of these and give them as a little bundle as a gift.  I really like the size I think it's just perfect for a little thank you note and cost much less in postage lol

Good evening everyone!  Hope you had a great Monday. Mine was just... well a Monday lol.  Nothing special, or horrible but nothing super exciting either... except that I was a top 5 at Love to create yay ;o)

In order to feel a bit more alive after such a blah day I crafted a little card with a freebie I had gotten from Sami Stamp I didn't have time to play in their last challenge and really didn't  want to miss out this time.  I also got this month's freebie.  I might use her on a later card.  But tonight I was in a bird type of mood.  Ready to fly away lol.  And also in a kind of fall mood... it was fairly frisky today.  I think this next weekend I will have to put my summer clothes away :(  So sad... Not ready for fall... don't misunderstand me I really love fall but I think our summers are way too short here.  Especially since it wasn't a really warm one either.

Anyway back to my card ;o)
