Path of positivity - Serendipity challenge - Midway post

The challenge over at Path of positivity challenge is serendipity and I'm here to share my midway post.

Our fabulous sponsors this time around are:
http://www.lunagirl.com/, and

And this time I'm using a digi from Sami Stamps called With You.

I thought it would be perfect for the serendipity moment that I was going to share with you.  Back when I was in university I had lots of fun going to the student pub on Thursday, Friday or Saturday nights.  But that Saturday I didn't feel like going out.  It was March 16th of 1991, 24 years ago today!  My friend convinced me that we should and that I would have fun. Finally I agreed and went out.  And this was the night where I danced for the 1st time some slow songs with the boy that was to become my husband!  We have been together ever since.  Now that friend who got me to go... well I don't even remember her name lol all that I remember is that she didn't like Marc Paul and had a lousy night that night!  But I'm very happy that I did follow her advice because had I not gone out... well I might not be happily married with 4 fabulous kids.

After this story you will understand my choice of image!

The paper for this card is from The juniper Berry Stack by DCWV.  I used a little wood embelishment from Little yellow bicycle.  I also used my nesting ovals from Quickutz.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Sisteract card challenge - Anything goes
  2. Cute card thursday - Celebrate - this is my celebration card for my hubby after 24 yrs!!!!  woop woop
  3. Wordart wednesday - anything goes
Hope you have a great Monday night!

Hugs

  2. What a wonderful make, Vicky! I love the flowers on the sides. We are so blessed that you joined our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday last week. We started a new Challenge today and will be delighted for you to come back and link up once more. Leaving you with this encouraging Word of God in Romans 15:4 and it says, "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." Have a great week.
