Violet - Spring comes to life

Good evening everyone!  I'm feeling like CRAP!!!!  I went to work today... and by the end of the afternoon I had a major headache and the chivers... So took 2 advils as soon as I got home... feel better.  Well good enough to color a wonderful digi from Heather from Lacy Sunshine but can't show it yet... you will have to be back on Sunday for the new challenge ;)

But don't  go yet... I did do a card yesterday that I can show you.  I created something with the awesome Violet!  And had soooo much fun with her.  You can find her here.

For this card I used all left over paper that I had in my stash!  YAY so happy when I can do that... seems that my cut outs keep growing... so need to use some of them.  I used my scallop and classic circle from Spellbinder.  I put a border with a MS punch.  I added a ribbon and charm from my stash.  And that's it!

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  I added a bunch of stickles to her flowers (after seeing my friend Cinzia from Cinzia's Creations shine hers up I just had to do the same thing lol).  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  I thought it went perfectly with this.
I'm entering her in the following challenges:

  1. Bunny zoes crafts - Favorite color combination (got to say I really love yellow and blue)
  2. Forever friends challenge blog - Die cuts/Punches (used both)
  3. House of gilli - Flower and/or Ribbon (got both on here with the image and flowers on the charm and got my ribbon)
  4. The pretty little ribbonshop - Spring is in the air
  5. Crazy challenge - add a charm
  6. There she goes clear stamps - color challenge
So that's it for tonight... I'm off to finish a blog post for tomorrow and see all the post that went up this morning and that I didn't have time to see yet!

I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 300 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one…

  1. Hope you feel better soon Vicky. I'm feeling about the same too. Have made an appointment to see the doc as I'm up coughing for hours at night - had to wait a week to see her though (seeing her tomorrow). Like you, I'm managing to craft a bit but would really like to feel well while crafting! Enough of that! Your card is great - love the blue and marigold colour together. I recognise one of those papers as one I've used! As they look so good together, I suspect I have the spotty one too. It's great to be able to use up the offcuts - I've been trying to do that a bit more lately as I think it stretches the brain to think how to use up odd shaped pieces! Take care, Suze

  5. Vicky I am worried about you not feeling well for quite a while now. Have you climbed into bed and stayed there for two solid days? Loving your beautiful card and I also love it when I can use the cardstock in my scraps file.
