Lacy Sunshine - Challenge # 7
Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at Lacy sunshine challenge. This time the challenge is to go monochromatic!!!
Well this was quite a challenge. I had just the perfect sentiment for my wonderful digi... but I sooo wanted to color him up in the Habs colors... you see in Montreal we are big hockey fans with the Canadians of Montreal... and well... it just wouldn't do with this challenge. So I went with blue. All blue so that my hubby doesn't think it was for his old Nordics from Quebec... there was a bit of a rivalry you see between Quebec city and Montreal lol.
Isn't he cute?!? I used some twine from American Craft and buttons from my stash. Of course I just love my scallop and classic circle from Spellbinder and it was perfect for this. The papers are all left over paper that I had in my cut out pile. I also did some embossing with my Fretboard folder from Couture creation.
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics. The sentiment is from Create with tlc. I thought that sentiment was really perfect for a hockey player!!!
