Little hummingbird
Hello everyone! Taking time on my lunch hour to post this card that I made on the weekend to participate over in the Meljen's challenge.
I just realized that I lost a follower :( how sad... oh well that's life. Hope you guys are not bored with me...
Anyway enough with the self pity and on to the showing of the card. I went a bit overboard with the flowers lol. I had seen my friend Susan who's on the DT team there use this little hummingbird. So when I won last week I just had to grab him!!!
I decided to make another circle easel card. And this time it was easier than the previous time! The paper is from BBP - Grandma's feather bed. I used some bee buttons from my stash. The ribbon was from a package I received so recycled it! The flowers were in a bunch of stuff that I purchased from my now friend Beth who is changing crafting orientation! So pretty much all her studio is now in mine lol I added little brads to the flower centers. I used my grand circle, my scallop and classic circle all from Spellbinder.
Here's a closer look at the beautiful little humingbird and the sentiment from Create with TLC.
To make this card I followed the sketch over at Meljen's:

I am sorry you lost a follower. I am sure it had nothing to do with you. Years ago when I first started blogging, I followed EVERYONE. I remember thinking WOW and started going through and deleting some. I don't do that any more.. I try to pop in and see my friends posts first, then I stop in when I can to see the others *which has been a very rare occasion with my busy schedule lately*
ReplyDeleteAll that being said, don't let it offend or hurt your feelings. I know it had nothing to do with you. Your posts / page is amazing and filled with loads of inspiration... just like this card posted today!
I LOVE all of the sweet flowers and that adorable humming bird.Love the shape and those little bee buttons too!!! Adorable card!
