Fancy Butterfly

Hello everyone!  Hope your Monday is going well!  I'm in my lunch hour... but I really wanted to share a card I made this weekend in order to participate in a few challenges. 

As mentionned in a previous post I really love Meljen's images.  So when I have the opportunity I play with them.  When I saw this week's challenge about recycling I had an idea right away... so had to play along ;)

I used the wonderful Fancy Butterfly for this card.  My bit of recycling is sea glass!  It was given to me by a friend that lives in PEI and got to collect this glass on the shore of the ocean!  How cool right?!?  I wish I was there to collect it as well... I've used some of it on my DDC post earlier today.. and now this... hmmm going to run out! ;)

To make this card I also recycled my scraps!!!  So I used one piece 6x6 from MME -Moments and the rest is all various scraps of paper from my piles! ;)  I just loooove being able to use and reduce this never ending pile...   I used my scallop and classic circles from Spellbinder to cut the digi and paper underneath.

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  I added some stickles to it.  The sentiment comes from  Create with tlc.
