Showers of love

Hello everyone!  Still sick... but I'm hoping that by tomorrow I'll start to get better.  The good news is that since I couldn't concentrate on anything it gave me time to check out the different blogs including a new release over at Doodle Pantry... and while doing that I came across the mention that one of their set was giving as a gift for participating in a challenge over at CDAC (crafter's digital Art center)... well I had no idea what that was so I checked it out!!!  And WOW I was missing out on lots of action!!!!!  Can't believe it took me a full year of blogging to find them out!!!!

So this card is for the Progressive freebie challenge.  The 1st digi given is from Nana Vic and it's called Bonus Umbrella.

  

Yup my card is really really bright... well I used an inspiration picture that you can find at the bottom of my post... and to me spring means bright colors.  For this card I used paper from MME - Life of the party.  I used a ribbon from Michael's and a little charm from my stash.  The double border was done using a CM border punch.  I used my scallop and classic circles from Spellbinder.

I followed this sketch to make this.  I hadn't played last week... so was missing the challenge:
