Tuesday Throwdown - Challenge # 141

Hello Everyone!  It's time for a challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!!!  This time our challenge is a recipe for you!  And the recipe is the following one 2 Colors (neutrals/image colors OK), 2 Things Starting with T, 2 Different Ribbons.

Our awesome sponsor for this week is:
Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps

For this card I used the wonderful image Lilly from Robyn's Fetish.  I decided to do a sympathy card because I really hate to do those... and seem to need lots at the present time :(
My recipe is the following  colors (orange and green - since neutrals don't count), Tangerine orange and Texture (I used my baby's breath embossing folder on the black under the image), and 2 ribbons that I intertwined.    I used my Label 29, my scallop and classic circle all from Spellbinder.  The paper is from my stash and as been there for awhile so I really don't remember...  I have to admit that the 2 "T's" gave me a challenge.... then I read the name on the orange copic marker and had a TADAAA moment!

Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics.  The sentiment comes from Create with TLC.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

  1. Word art wednesday - Anything goes
  2. Digi-makeover-challenge-82 - Anything goes( my 1st participation since I left the challenge... miss you guys!!! ;) )
  3. Lawnscaping - Embossing

As my followers have read in my earlier post, today is the funeral of my stepmom's mother.  So I'll be going to Sherbrooke for this.  I would ask for your prayers as I'm sure they will be bringing comfort to my family at this time.  And thanks for the kind words you all have left on my blog following my posting of the sympathy card.  As mention... I seem to need more of those in the recent times :(

As a good note however there's one more post coming up.  And for those that don't know I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 300 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one… http://crafting-vicky.blogspot.ca/2013/04/giveaway-to-celebrate-300-followers.html.

  1. I don't like making sympathy cards either. They are the hardest to do. Your card is beautiful with the beautiful colors against the black and white paper.
