Christmas progressive challenge - Snowman
I decided to play along with the Christmas progressive challenge. I had seen the wonderful cards that my on-line friends do with that challenge and the idea of being ahead of the Christmas game was super tempting.
So I purchased the image for this month (since I had not participated before I needed to pay this time and the next time they will be free) and I have to say that they are not expensive at all!
This time the images come from Anji Antics, there's a wonderful moose and a snowman. I decided to go with the snowman.
I chose to do a color combination that's not the usual Christmas look (brown and blue- I really love how it turned out). I was inspired from the sentiment that comes from Create with TLC. I used my MS snowflake punch and put some bling on it. I used my scallop and classic circle all from Spellbinder. The paper is from Little yellow bicycle. I used my CM corner punch on the corners.
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics. I added some liquid appliqué to the edge of his hat and mitts I also put warm highlights glitter ritz to it to give a bit of shimmer.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
I’m doing a giveaway to celebrate my 300 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one… http://crafting-vicky.blogspot.ca/2013/04/giveaway-to-celebrate-300-followers.html

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
- Abc christmas challenge - G is for guy or girl (I think my card is more masculine with the brown cardstock)
- Lady annes challenges-christmas-progressive-challenge-3 - image challenge
- Christmas at sweet stampin challenge blog - no red or green ( used brown and blue)
So that's it for me! I thank you for the warm thoughts and prayers for my family for the past days while we were going through the funeral and burial of my step-grandmother. My stepmom is really having a hard time right now to deal with the death of her mom...
As for my cold... seems to be getting worse :( I really really feel like crap my cold is actually winning at this time.
