DDC # 57 - Take me to the ball game
Ok so it's time to play at Digi Darlas and this time it's "Take me to the ball game"... or in other words lol Use banners/pennants or flags on your creation.
Yup... I have an issue with that challenge... I'm no good with pennants or banners... I have the dies... but just can't seem to have the mojo to do something with them... When I think of something the letters don't fit in, or it's too wide... too many letters... well you get the idea. I see sooo many people with some wonderful creations with them. All my teammates for example seem to have an easy time with it. Not me... I have to admit this one was hard.
I was super happy when I saw the wonderful image Birthday party girl. She has a sort of flag on her trumpet! That counts right?!? And then I search and search and found some paper with pennants and banners! BINGO!!! That was it. So this is super CAS. No frills. I was pooped after having to put just this together lol
For this the paper come from Happy Day - Simple stories. I used my classic rectangle large. The sentiment was already on the image so couldn't have more CAS than that right?!? The image was colored with my copics.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

I had to laugh when I read your plight with banners - I'm that way with washi tape!! Just don't know what in the world to do with it! Needless to say, you nailed the challenge with this card - flags and pennants all over! Great job!

Hahaha!! I know exactly what you mean, some of our fellow bloggers make it look so easy!! I love your little digi and the paper is perfect!! Great card!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job but you weren't the only one to have a problem with this challenge. I first had to learn what all the correct shapes were and I still don't think I have it right. There are a lot of people using what I thought was a pennant for their banners. So is it a pennant shaped banner? You got me. You did fabulous and I agree too much thinking is tiring!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lisa
