Delicious Doodles DT post April 5th

So it's time for another challenge over at Delicious doodles challenge.  This time it's about fancy folds.  So something more than the regular 1 fold.

I decided to go all out for this card.  I have been meaning to prepare my daughter's b-day card and this is the perfect occasion for it.  I got to use 2 different digis from Delicious Doodles.  I used Tamed dragon for the front of the card and Endless love for the inside.  Megan just looooooves dragons so she should be pleased. I managed to craft it without her seeing it.  Here's the close look:

For this card I used paper from DCWV - Animal print.  I thought it looked like dragon scales!

Here's a closer look at that front image colored with my copics and I used ocean spray distress ink for the sky  I put a velcro behind the image to be able to keep it close.  I saw this trick over at Sassy Raggedy's blog!  Thanks Joann for the trick.  I added some stickles to the dragon's wings.

I used Label 8 to make the shape under the digi.  It's from Spellbinder.  For the note on the right end side I used a MS corner punch

Here's when it's completely opened up.

I used a fleur de lis and Botanical swirl die cuts from Spellbinder.  I used some bling from my stash on it as well.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored with my copics and to which I added some stickles to the wings of the fairy and the dragon

And I used a wonderful sentiment from Create with TLC.
