Getting ready for Christmas :D

Well good evening everyone!  2 post in one day pretty good no?!?  I've been meaning to start creating some Christmas card (if I want to send home made one this year) and I decided to use the opportunity to play in brand new challenges as the good stepping stone to do just that. So I got my box of Christmas paper and stamp out and decided to play.  Last winter I purchased a bunch of stamps from Whipper Snapper (just love those sweet images) but I had not yet inked them.  So this is my 1st time with them. Here's the look at the card: I used paper from My mind's eye called Merry Christmas.  I used label 1 and grommet tag as die cuts. I colored the wonderful image with my copics and added some stickles on the hat: I used a MS punch to cut out snowflakes out of shiny DCWV cardstock and used Robin's Nest Dew drop in metallic red to put on top on them: And I just looove that sentiment :D  I think it's so fun with this wonderful image: I'm e

OK so now I pledged on this web site  Lady of lost times crafts  unfortunately when I looked at the recent post she is mentioning that she will not be blogging for awhile.... oh well I still think the sentiment is good.  I should try to use what I have as much as possible!  I'm not saying that I will not be buying anything because that is just impossible lol but I will be trying to keep on doing post like this one where I used scrap material.  I got the idea from Hiding in my craft room.  It was a super scrap challenge. So use up what you have.  And I managed anyway to make a card that would fit a few challenges and I think it looks pretty good if I say so myself! I had the stamp Whipper snapper Birthday cake for awhile but it had yest to be inked.  So I did that but I removed the sentiment since I wanted to make it a French card.  I reused the paper from previous projects, even the circles... you can tell that I change my mind a few times on the size lol but I kept all the piec
