I'm trying to post more on my blog this year but it's proving to be difficult.  I don't know about you but I feel that I'm always running after my tail!  With Covid19 on the loose it's been quite hectic at work.  Trying to calm people down and at the same time being worried myself.  I'm lucky the plant that I work in is in the food industry.  So our standard for cleanliness as always been high.  Now they have been put even higher!  But that makes us safe. This being said with all that was going on the employees are still terrified and we decided to shut the plant down for 2 wks.  Some of our operations are continuing but not our main plant.  This of course will be causing some loss income and some of our employees will be layoff for the 2 wks so will have to go on unemployment.  My team and others that can work from home will be doing so.  For me what it has meant is looking at the grants that are out there and talking to the banks.  Which means that my

I need a card for one of my employees.  And I decided to make one off camera.  OMG it's been FOREVER since I have done that.  And I have decided to use a stamp that I haven't used EVER.  I just ADORE Gorjuss stamps and I haven't been using mine.... I just don't.  But I love them that IS the reason I got them in the 1st place. So it was time to do that and while watching Courtney from Little Raven Ink (on Patreon, I love supporting artists that I like).  I just played with some alcool inks which have not been used either.... and made a really fun background. The other papers used on this card are from a card folder and the other from a very old paper pack that can't identify for you. I really hope that you like my new card for you.  I followed the sketch that you can find on my sketch/layout challenge .  It's been a very long time since I have posted just on my blog.  I hope you like it but most of all I sure hope my employee likes it!!!! One thing as

Layout challenge #1

I have promised all of you on Youtube, FB and here that I wanted to do something that would include both my youtube and my blog. My new project for you all is a new layout challenge.  I will post the layout here and show what I made on my youtube channel if you are interested in seeing the creation process. I wanted to do something that could help spark creativity when inspiration doesn't come.  My wish is to see what you do with the layout.  How will you use it?  Will you turn it around?  What will you create with it?  Will it be a card, a scrapbook page, an atc or something else that I can't imagine yet?  I know that all of you have loads of imagination and will be able to surprise me! I pondered a bit on the way I was going to do this and how long to keep this open.  I came up with the idea of doing it for a month.  However if I see that many of you are interested, I was thinking of doing more and also leaving them a month.  This would mean that there could be many ope
