OSAAT - Challenge # 161
It's time for another challenge over at OSAAT and this time it's For a Mom.
When I got this challenge I was wondering what type of card I would make. And then I came across a sentiment that made me decide which digi to choose to play with.
So my digi this time is the wonderful Fairy Flutter from Beary Dust. And this card was made thinking of my Mother-in-law who is not with us this mother's day! I know that this day will be really hard for the entire family this year. But I know that she is now an angel watching over us. So it's a fairy not an angel... but to me they are very similar ;)
I used paper from my left over to make this card! YAY doing that more and more and really happy when I can actually find the paper that I can do something with! I used my decorative label 8, my label 8, my Label 11 and my fantastic flourish 2 all from Spellbinder. The bling is from the dollar store.
Here's a closer look at the digi that I colored with my copics and stickles. The wonderful sentiment is from Create with TLC and you have to admit that it's really perfect for this right?!? My MIL was really a great angel to my kids!!! They talk about her all the time.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
- Craft challenge - Queen for a Day/Fantasy/Bling it Up/Land of Make Believe - I think my card qualifies with a lot of these!
- dlart - Mother's day
- Sassy studio designs - Mother's day
- Broken box stock - Mother's day
- Hiding in my craftroom - Mother's day
So you might be wondering what I did with this card since it was for my MIL and obviously she's no longer with us... so can't mail it to her. So I put it in a smash album and wrote in it what I would have like to tell her. I'm pretty sure that she still gets to see this. My daughter also insisted in putting something as well. I think just doing this was helpful for our grief...
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday! I'm going to craft as much as possible. Didn't get much done yesterday... :(
There's still a few days to enter in my giveaway to celebrate my 300 followers! If you are a follower You can enter at this post and if you’re not now is a great time to become one…
